Not seen that one either!
I watched Miracle on 34th Street (the 90s one) and Love Actually. Really want to see Pitch Perfect 3! __________________

I haven't watched Miracle on 34th Street in years! I might have to dig that one out and watch it again.
I want to see Pitch Perfect 3 too. I've watched the others with my sister in law and we were planning on going to see it Friday but she has a horrible sinus infection so I think I'm just going to take my niece to see Ferdinand instead. |

I like A Christmas Story and my fav is It's A Wonderful life. It used to be on a continuous loop for years but I think it is less popular as us olders are dying off.
My son in law played ( while we finished wrapping their presents Christmas eve) I guess it was Christmas Vacation ? the one with Chevy Chase and the Christmas lights on the house and the weird family over. I know this is probably generational but that movie was awful...not funny and just stressful to me __________________

I love It's a Wonderful Life! I've watched it since I was a kid.
Yep! That's National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I grew up watching that and Home Alone. My uncle would drive down from Ohio with his kids for Christmas and they would stay with us. Him and my dad would drink and get tipsy and they'd giggle during those movies. Lots of fun for all us kids |

My mom's youngest sister is 16 years older than me so I was pretty close to her when I was growing up. We liked a lot of the same stuff and she'd sneak me out to movies my mom said I couldn't see I was so excited to become an aunt so I could do the same. My nephews live like 1,400 miles away and my twin nieces are about 700 miles away. They love me because I always send them boxes of toys. My other niece lives about a mile down the road and is my little shadow. She goes everywhere with me and is basically my mini me

I was dying to be an Aunt, but my brother didn't have kids until he was older, (and second marriage) and by then I'd married into a family with lots of nieces and nephews! Plus when he finally had his daughter, they lived in California, so I rarely have seen her.
I saw a movie "Kedi" a documentary about the cats that live in Istanbul, Turkey. I was dying to see it at the theater, but my family just rolled their eyes (you watch cat videos online, you don't pay to see them in the theater). But it was a very nice movie, very lyrical and the Turkish music and people talking about their cats and their lives - it was pretty cool. Although at an hour and a half, I started wondering when it would get over (really how long a movie can you make about Turkish cats?) __________________

About 10 seconds sounds enough!
I went to see Jumanji - it was pretty silly but funny! Just what's expected __________________

How long did the cat movie end up being? I'd probably watch it
I want to see Jumanji! It looks ridiculous and I usually like that. I'm watching The Craft and taking down all my Christmas stuff Last edited by Margaritasalt46; 01-01-2018 at 03:39 PM |
