Going to see The Purge 2 this week....not sure what to expect! Not much I guess :lol:

Omg I have to see The Purge 2 still.
I saw the first one because the 3rd one was out in theatres.
Apparently the sequels are better that the first one.

And yes, I want to own a restaurant that looks like that restaurant. :sigh:

It was pretty much as I expected, lots of blood and violence and people getting killed!

I never heard of the Purge movies...I got my hair done today and my stylists assistant said her fav genre of movie was horror and I asked if she liked the Grudge and she said that even she thought that movie was too scary.

I said on some other thread I did finally see Star Trek....and yea it wasn't nearly as good as the first but I still enjoyed it. It cost 18$ though.....yikes they are going to push pps out of theaters.

Ah really? I think The Grudge was scary but i've seen a lot worse! :eek: There's one about people lost in the Australian outback and they're being chased by a crazy man....it's horrible!!

Anyone going to see the new Bridget Jones movie?

I will see it but wait till it is on Netflix.

Yeah it's pretty horrible. I find psychological horrors so much scarier than slasher type stories.

I didn't read the new Bridget Jones book, and since they cut Huge Grant's character and made major changes...i'm not so sure!! If my friend wants to see it, i'll go as I won't need to pay :lol: (she works in the admin department at a cinema ;))

I don't think I saw Bridget Jones 2...so I want to see that before I see the third one. I love that Mcdreamy is in the new movie though.

I have a perfect record with Bridget Jones - never saw any of them! The new one looks cute. McDreamy is cute, although I guess he's something of a jerk in real life, which is too bad, I thought he was nice. Maybe he was just going through a bad patch? :shrug:

I don't know how you can watch those horror things :eek: Way way too scary. I could only watch The Grudge because I'd followed the making of it so closely (and of course because of Jason and Sarah Miichelle Gellar) - it still had some pretty scary bits though! :eek:

Glad you saw Star Trek, Podmom. I enjoyed it too. It wasn't great. Yes, movie theater prices are going to drive customers away! Although we got a senior citizen price and it wasn't too bad, maybe $10 each, with my friends. And if you buy any snacks, those cost more than the movie.

I am having an awful time watching the Netflix movies that come - just don't feel like sitting down for 2 hours and watching something (even though I can easily sit and watch various HGTV things for 2 hours) :shrug:

He's a jerk? :( I hope not!! I think it's great he worked so hard to keep his marriage going after they announced a divorce (back together now) and of course I have a little obsession with Grey's! :lol: I probably will see the movie at some point though :) The first Bridget Jones was hilarious.

Haha MyrnaLynne I used to terrify myself and my friends when we were younger by watching horror movies at sleepovers :lol: Even now when I'm driving alone in the dark I get all freaked!

I do want to see the new Blair Witch though!

I only want to see Bridget Jones because Years & Years has two songs in it :lmao:

:lol: that's a good enough excuse! I do and I don't....I just don't think it will ever be as good as the first. But, it looks funny and sometimes a little comedy is good for the soul!

I liked the first Bridget ....second not so much.....laughing is good for the soul :)
