| When are you off Danie? You know we expect post cards and lots of photos. Glad you had a nice day for you B'day Mezz, too bad about the craft show though. Hope the car still goes for you JC. My brother-in-law is going to change the oil and stuff on my car but don't know when. | We had a huge electrial and hail storm this arvo. You should have seen how black the sky was amd the hail was this massive wall of white coming across teh lake.  Knew it was gonna be bad and went and un-plugged stuff from the wall, which turned out to be good as i think my tv aerial was hit by lightning, found a piece of it in the drive way, the power went out and didn't come on...about an hour later when the storm had passed was talking to these kids who were walking along the road and asked if they had power and they all did and then noticed that my neighbours all had power so i went and checked the fuse box and had to turn all teh switched back on. Poor Buffy spent most of the time hiding under a bed and my garden had been smushed. I went for another look arouond the back yard about 30 minutes ago and there are still a few piles of hail that haven't melted yet, the storm started about 4.30 and its almost 8pm now!!! | I had a total brain fart today...i couldn't remember my ATM number. It was all the check out lady's fault distracting me by talking about Firefly and Supernatural. Had enough money on me for most of the stuff i was getting but had to put two things back. | Because of the several times she had seen me wearing my Firefly t-shirt. She has a thing for Nathan Fillion which lead us to mention him being on Desperate Housewives and how we'd both used to watch it until it started going overtime and how we'd stopped watching it because it used to clash with Supernatural and that Supernatural wins hands down. Also Dexter was mentioned. And i'm so not happy....i've got rats in my back yard Was making my lunch today and just glanced out the window looking at the doves in the yard when i saw something moving down the yard and realised that it was two rats. And they were big. Went out the back and they raced back into a pile of branched near the old BBQ near the back fence. I'm pretty sure four of my birds are safe but i now have two quail in a little budgie cage till i can make sure that their part of the avery is safe.
