Well Canada isn't getting Torchwood 2 yet either (and they're just as grumpy about it!) And I don't get BBC America - but I'm giving Torchwood 1 a try via Netflix rental.

I want to see James Marsters smooching John Barrowman! Worth the price of admission! He made some blather about his girlfriend being there when they shot that scene - as in ("Hey, he may be gay but I'm NOT really. Really, I'm not...")

LOL JC you are a special person to see the cuteness in roaches!
We had a pet praying mantis once - they are the only insect that can turn its head side to side and look at you - like a cat. I thought it was kind of cute too, although we had to buy bugs for it to devour (and it had a very healthy appetite). Then it laid an egg-sack and died, as is the way with these things.

:> Love the Pacman ani, Poddy!

Bunny poo removal reminds me of my friend with 4 (long haired) dogs who is always giving them 'butt baths.' ahem.

I am so shocked and sad about Heath Ledger! What terrible news. He was very young, for all his years in the business already - I was surprised he was only 28.

My computer is being a poo - Kender, can you come and cut some off? lol

Posting AGAIN.

I'll miss Heath. He was a great actor - and rather easy on the eye.

RIP.

I just found out about Heath Leader on the news tonight...what a tragic loss

JC i have no idea why you couldn't read my post. My computer has been giving me the ****s all week, things havn't been loading proberly..though that my just be my slow dial-up.

Took Frodo to the vet today, (got sent home from work as there wasn't anything for me to do after i finished what i had to do) and yes i had to take some poo. The vet said he has thrush caused from the anitbiotics he's had for his eye. So now i have different antibiotics to give him and this time i have to put it in his mouth Asked my sister if she can help as theres no way i'll be able to give it to him by myself.

Why's that?

BTW, I did eventually get to see your post Net...by some odd fluke.

The Poo story was an interesting read, then Poddie's post made it that much more vivid.

It is shocking that the local Perth boy is now gone. :/ It truly does sound like an accidental overdose to me personally. I mean, he had a movie to be released later this year or early next year that would possibly be a HUGE Fantasy/period hit film, plus a 2 year old daughter whom he adored, a loving and supportive family, he also had an appointment for that day with a masseur to ease his spinal pain (for which he was taking medication prescribed to him) - who would do that only to end their life? No-one so far as I can tell. Thus, it must simply be an accident, they do happen much more easily than most of us realize. Depress your brake pedal 1 seconds too late while driving could be the end of your life for example... o_O

I never found Heath all that attractive myself. they said he was named Heath after Heathcliffe from Wuthering Heights, so women really DO do that kind of thing. (Don't think I'd like to name my child after the devil incarnate but that's a whole other conversation) And every time he spoke I'd be surprised at how deep his voice was. And in interviews he'd have this simultaneous confidence and ease mixed with a constant uncomfortableness. I am constantly amazed at how resilient our bodies are and then how fragile at others.

at your poo joke Danie

My cousin is just about to show her work at an exhibition. I've only been shown this one pic but the piece is AMAZING. You must take a look. Just click on the soulscape link in my sig.

I think it was the Stilnox, as I refuse to believe that he knocked himself off.

Well, Mum asked her doctor yesterday if he thought that taking Stilnox, Valium and Xanax all together was a good idea. The doctor said "Well, they are all ok together, but you should never take them when you have breathing problems".

And Heath was sick with pneumonia.
