OMG...its been years since i read them and yes thats where my name came from. I even named my cat i had before Buffy from those books, you know the character "Tass" the kender well my cats name was Tasslehoff Kittypaw but i just called her Tass.

BTW..don't know if you know or not but the new series of Monarch of the Glen is back on this Saturday.

As for Viggo...i'm gonna see Hidalgo this weekend..was going to wait for my sister but she still can't go..will have to see what they say about it on the movie show.

And i can't tell you how tall Viggo is as he was sitting down when i saw him.

patronising
badly written
badly acted (even the horse over acted [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] hehe)
with shallow characterisations
and
overall, disappointing

2 stars from both of them

they loved Monster though.

TK I'm only up to chapter 5 but I'm enjoying it so far. I like a book where the writers make you interested right from the get go even when you don't quite know what the story is yet.

Kender will still go see it and love it for the Viggo factor, so it doesnt really matter what the 'professionals' think!

Personally I'd one day like to host my own Movie Show.

"This movie had Ashton Kutcher in it, therefore by default, no stars. Next!"

I'm sure I'd be a big hit.

Yes, I'm around 5'7 too, but I think I'm shrinking and I might only be 5'6 now. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img] Jason is way taller than Shiri when she's not in mega platform heels (or standing on an applebox). giggle. Evil Tess was the teensiest of the lot of them, she always had to wear enormous shoes to even fit into the frame (giggle).

I don't know if Katie is as tall as 5'10, think she's more around 5'8? Don't really know. She and JB do seem to be around the same size. She also looked a lot more slender in person than I expected, esp around the waist, butt, and legs (hate her.. oops that just slipped out!) She's just so gorgeous it's kind of depressing is all. sigh. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img]

Heck, when I saw how good looking Jason's MOTHER was, I got REALLY depressed! [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] Couldn't she have been an old bag in a housecoat like a proper mother? And we don't know that Mrs. Jason's Mum doesn't get about in housecoats and fluffy slippers on a day to day basis, and that when she's seen with JB in public, she doesnt have an expert team of hair and make up people to help her look snazzy.

I go with the general theory that all celebrities and their families are ugly, and they have to pay all these professionals to make them look decent.

It helps me sleep at night. Damn all those attractive and talented people! *breaks down sobbing*

Sarz, I'm not that much of a hobbit! lol I'm only small when you put me up against tall people! I could be a super model, but I've been compressed into shortness!

I used to think Katherine was pretty normal (you can see folds of skin when she sits down in season 1), but then I realised she was tall... why is it that you have to be 100 pounds to get work on American TV?

We should have our own Movie Show for the BOBs! "Last Samurai would be a good film if Tom wasn't in it, he's done really crap films since Born on The Fourth..."

Danmeister, as usual I agree, I always thought Katie looked healthy and normal in Roswell, although unfortunately for her she had to do scenes with Shiri and Majandra, aka The Tiny Twins.

I love it when they have a 'fat girl' on American TV, and she's actually a size 10 or something. Yeah.....that's fat. [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]

To cheer me up when I was plunged into depression after first seeing his Mommy, my friend said "Oh she's definitely 'had work done.'" Which was mean to say and probably not true, but what are friends for, but to be catty and cheer you up when you're blue!

Which makes me think of this bizarre new TV reality show they are having over here 'The Swan' - they find some really bad looking women, do extreme cosmetic makeovers on them, and don't let them see their new selves for awhile, and then put them all in a beauty pageant! Hm, whole bunch of perfect women accomplished by lots of cosmetic surgery - just like a real beauty pageant! LOL. sigh. Reality television is really really sick and I won't watch any of it. Well, occasionally I'll get sucked in and peek at one or two of them briefly (Joe Millionaire, Boy Meets Boy) but in general - ugh!

It's true about celebs and their families. Generally when somebody brings their family to something, the actor child is this one gorgeous individual and the rest of the family is fairly plain and average looking (saw Ian Somerhalder with his mom and sister - perfect example - he got ALL the looks in that family). Ashton Kutcher's dad, another example. He just looked like your average nice dad type guy, kind of awkward and embarrassed about having a zillion pix snapped of him.
But Jason definitely favors his Mom in appearance - just on him, it looks 1,000x better! [img]smilies/love.gif[/img]

I can't claim to have seen all of Jason's siblings, as I've only seen photos of Aaron. He's not unattractive at all, just different to Jason. The Lowe family were blessed with both Chad and Rob - both are lovely! It's like my Mum's partner's kids - both are extremely attractive... it just all depends on the genes you've been given.

I'm having my first outing from the house, since I've been looking after my Mum for the last week and I'm very excited! Mum's getting better slowly and is just left with a bad cough, which is usually the sign of the cold going (I think?)... I think the next time I get on a plane, I'll be asking for my own oxygen bottle...

Those people on that movie show didn't give Hidalgo a very good review...and now 50 First Dates has started (they didn't really like it either) and i will probably end up going and see it instead..got to go with the movie that has a Hobbit in it [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
