Hi guys I'm back [img]smilies/wave.gif[/img]

Had a wonderful time away and a fight with my sis after being home a full 15 minutes. So I've escaped from real life for a while.

Do I have a story for you.

Was staying in this lovely B&B. Great hosts, great views. My own TV etc etc. On the 3rd night this guy comes to stay. We were in this cottage that shared the kitchen. Any hoo...

Apparently this guy has a thing for red haired females (of which I am apparently one of the finest). I also have great teeth, a beautiful dressing gown and am soooo mature that I even pass his standards. (i was was impressed I can assure you [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img] ) He seemed like a good intelligent guy at first. Such a disappointment. We got into this long conversation about why I was away and how I was run down and he 'helped' me with my problem by telling me all about himself. Mind you he'd been to hell and back and so it was interesting but after a while it gets a little odd/tiring listening to a guy tell you how wonderful he is. He'd say, 'but we're supposed to be talking about you' and then tell me more about his achievements.

Some memorable statements....

"When I realised that you were a teacher I thought to myself. She won't have been around men for ages. This has real potential."

To which I blinked, did a double take and then stuttered, 'you weren't serious surely' [img]smilies/eek.gif[/img] (I think he was)

"You really haven't experienced proper intimacy in your life. I've had some wonderfully intimate times with women. You should let me expand your experiences."

I said that I'd be SURE to let him do that. NOT!!!

"Most guys are bastards. I'm not like that. I treat women with respect. I'm much more mature than most men because of all I've been through."

Uh huh. that would be why you have to keep telling me how great you are. That's a sign of REAL maturity. NOT!!!!

"It's because I'm so mature that I can't abide younger women. No really, I can't. I have to be with mature women. You're like that. It's like you're 40. No I mean it. You're maturity level is like that. You're even mature enough for me."

ooooo K. I think that statement was followed by another suggestion that I should experience intimacy.

He spent Mon night telling me how he was going to study to be a doctor. Spent Tues night telling me how all doctors were graspers, free loaders and all lazy and totally dishonest. Huh? "Do you know any doctors?" to which I replied, "Yes my cousin is a doctor. He works in the country. He says that the GP wage is vastly over rated and doctors in general practice don't make nearly what people think. Esp if they're in the country." To which he replied, "Well then your cousin is a lowsy doctor..... No really. If he was any good at his job he'd be making money. I'm right about this. He's a lowsy doctor."

EXCUSE ME!!!!!!

He told me all about his religious beliefs and how he could tell which of Jesus' statements were worth believing and which weren't. How he'd been enlightened while in Bali and how he was going to be reincarnated as something good because he was such a moral and good person. (He admitted the several affairs he'd had with married women probably weren't the smartest thing he'd done but he had no real regrets.) A moral person like him was truely someone I should experience intimacy with.

Oh here's one...

"Sex isn't a major part of my priorities. I know I've been talking about it for about 2 hours now but I'm like a middle aged man. It's about the quality."

He left his number and requested that I contact him because "he could tell we were going to be great long time friends". Somehow his number got left in the bin. Now how did that happen?

You see Sarz, according to this guy, being 26, you are in the 'all men are bastards' years. They last from the ages of 25-30. The damage that has been done by all the other guys is one of the reasons that things are so hard for him. Whenever he gets with a girl there is so much damage for him to deal with.

he apparently went out with one girl for 5 weeks and they were incredibly intimiate even though, surprisingly, the intimacy didn't include sex. I'm like, "You're such a saint! 5 weeks and no sex." *shakes head*

he was the most arrogant person I've ever come across and I have to say it distresses me that he was so sincere. I don't think he was being intentionally awful. Which just makes his situation all the worse. He was genuinly trying to help me on some level. It must be awful to be so mixed up and lost.

To other things.

I LOVE the Ironing-board pics. Fabulous. He looks so suave. So corporate suit. So ruthless.

Is his character good or bad?

BJ where are you? I need to know. Have you set up those 'how to be a decent person' classes in Besarej yet? I know you were touting the wonder of them during your last tour. It's funny... I had a nice day at home with my friend Julie yesterday and we were bitching about men. Anyway, The Bloke came home and couldn't believe some of the stuff we were saying about men we'd come across - he was actually shocked that members of his gender are so bloody stupid! The guy was older than me. 34? 35? And yes he did actually say that 'teacher' statement. I know. He melded it in with "I've had it with all the games people play. I'm too old to be bothered with them now. I just like to play it straight" All those things are almost word for word. They stunned me so they like seered my brain. I'm too sheltered you know. I've met incompetence before but never this. Quite an education.

Our outing was fun. The Bloke was cool too. Isn't that great he liked me [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

I was wondering if the Viggo film was done simply because he's a big name at the moment. Is it bad only because it's a horse flick or is the script lame also?

Yes i did know that Viggo has a new movie out...will probably be seeing it in the next couple of days with my older sister. I don't really know what its about, other than its some kind of horse race, and haven't even seen a trailer for it..but i'm gonna go.

Last night was good for me too... Michael's band rocked and he has a new song out called "Sexual Intercourse" (I think?)!!! Trust Mikey to be naughty and get away with it! We went to this strange little joint on Brunswick Street and The Bloke found a poster... Did any of you guys watch Aussie Idol from the start? Do any of you remember this psycho called Jimmy Scarf? He was on a misson from God and did the old 'pelvic thrust that really drives you insane' while he sang?! Well, he's playing tonight, but I'm going to be good girl and not go... damn groupies!

Mum and her bloke came home today from Bali - with 30 new VCDs to watch and guess what I saw? Monster! AHHHHH... it's so good!
