Yeah you would think that if the gold passes are all sold out you would have had people interested in getting yours.

When i went last year i just had general admission tickets so i had lots of long waits in very long lines. Would much preferr that they didn't have the media/sci-fi guests as part of the expo and just had small cons just for them like what i've been to before, they have some like that coming up which i wouldn't mind going to.

Well, no one wants 'em. Can't believe it. So we're going as I need to put my leave in at work and I can't wait any longer.

So you will have to go after all? Have you advertised the tickets (that have yet to arrive possibly because they are the special gold one?) on various forums or in free classified papers or even eBay?

Yeah, got nothing, No matter. I was just concerned as I'm now on a contract at work and still wouldn't be paid for the time I took off. Spoke to my manager, so it's all cool now. But if David CANCELS I'll be a very MAD woman.

Who here has Win XP with SP3?

Apparently it was released month ago but my system only found it yesterday, well I stopped the install, I have it set for auto download and manual install because I've heard of problems.

I finally decided to do my tax this arvo and when i finished i was looking through the book to see if i actually have to included my certificate thingy as they only gave me one this year and found out that i had to use only a black pen and i'd just filled it all out in blue as that was the only one i had
So looks like i have to go out and buy a black pen and fill it all out again.

Also went to thaw out some chicken in the mirowave for tea and ended up cooking it instead

Kender sorry you are having a very bad day. Bummer the blue vs black pen thing - governments! They are so picky!

I'm typing up all these new policies at work because of government regulations and they are such a royal pain.

We have a new microwave and it's way too powerful and we have to be careful not too cook everything! Don't know what I was thinking when I got that one.

I just found out 'Blood Ties' started airing in Oz in July - anybody watched it/liked it? (My avi at left is the vampire guy from that show - ahem). Probably showing it on some obscure station like they did here - I didn't even find the show until it was half over. Loved it, though.

All this talk of golden tickets makes me think of Willy Wonka.

That's okay, there is a S1 *cough* but I don't have the bandwidth for the almost 10Gb file!

That's a big job, I remember with an older computer pre Ethernet transferring files from one Mac to another via Apple Talk, This was with a much smaller 20Meg HDD and it took all night to do!

You should, I got over $1200 back

Well i found out what caused the blackout last night. There was a car crash, hit a power pole then hit a gas main and burned, one guy survive, the other three all died.

Went and saw the new Mummy movie today and was disapointed...there was jusst something missing.

And my sister forgot to tape Wire in the Blood for me

I saw the car crash on the news, very bad but it looks like they were speeding, still sad.

I haven't been to the cinemas in ages, didn't even see the new Batman or X-Files movies.

You could always *cough* Wire in the Blood
