Keep in mind that the final 2 episodes are demo versions so the video is a bit dodgy here and there plus some visual effects are missing. I will send you the final versions after I get them.

I like the pre-aired versions, it is interesting to see the CGI before it's finished.

That said both are worth the viewing.

Clint after our power out that SETI program on the PC kept asking for an Internet connection so maybe it was sucking stuff down in the back ground?

Yes it's been going for years, it could have been the cause of the massive unexplained DL last week. I removed it so Late Tuesday I'll give the PC Internet access again and see how it goes.

Did you have My Own Worst Enemy yet, I can send them too you. But be warned there are only 9 eps and it's left on a cliff hanger with many unanswered questions.

What is the show about?

So you were part of the actual real SETI programme that has been around for decades searching for radio signals that might contain possible alien contact?

I've used it on and off for years but until last week not in a long time. I guess you have to ask is it a good idea to have you PC/Mac running at 100% 24/7? Although you can dictate how much CPU power it does use. I think it's a good idea and makes a cool screen saver but like I said I'm not sure if that's where the leak came from. Maybe it was that and the JAVA update or something else?

Basically it's one guy with a chip in his head they use to switch him from family guy to super spy and neither one knows the other, until things go wrong.

IMO it was leading somewhere and the acting was good, just a pity it was cut short. maybe like so many other shows if they made the last 4 eps of the original 13 then it could be released on DVD one day or aired in full locally?

I have mine running for sometimes a week straight 24/7 but I doubt it reaches 100%, averages at 8%-15% when uploading/*coughing* say 20-30 things at once. When encoding as I am doing at this second it goes up to 70%-100% with the other stuff going on in the background of course.

What did you do with SETI?

That show does sound a lot like something I would enjoy.

Mezzi, I will encode the last half of Sarah Jane Adventures and the Doctor Who Xmas Special + a few other DW specials for you over the next few days.

I do remember reading that it does use many linked computers but that was years ago, didn't realize it still does.

That could be a legitimate reason for that 900meg usage.

I doubt many girls will swoon over the new Doctor.

It's weird how the doctor gets younger, maybe the 12th one will be 15?

The SETI thing is only meant to go online when it needs to send and retrieve a module, and they are only 10Mb as far as I can work out. I think the PC was just freaking out 'cause it couldn't get a connection. You can set it to go online only at set times of the day.

29 DVDs with an average of 12, 40 minute episodes on each DVD is a lot of viewing TK...

Indeed, it is some serious couch potato time, but this is the one (long delayed) for TK. It is several months (between 6-12 months delayed - hence the HUGE amount of 29 DVDs and 1 CD) delayed which I am very sorry for Netty... But I am sure it is all there! She even DEFINITELY has the Eli Stone episodes I misplaced and did not get to send to you Craig. :/

BTW, TK, Net, Netty are all abbreviations for The Kender. I have been sending videos to her since about 2000ish back in the old FarScape/Dark Angel-VHS days.
