Hey all,

I was on TVguide.com and saw KaDee's pic and with good news!!!! She has a new project!

Breaking Grey's/Private Practice Casting News!

Grey's Anatomy has promoted Chyler Leigh (aka Mer's McDreaming half-sis Lexie) to a series regular, an ABC Studios rep confirms. The news comes on the heels of my vodcast report that test audiences chewed up and spit out the character during a recent focus group. To be fair, her brief flirtation with Derek didn't exactly help her cause.

In sort of related news, Grey's 2.0 (aka Private Practice) has tapped KaDee Strickland (The Wedding Bells) to play a doctor and hospital administrator. She too will be a series regular.

Kate Walsh and KaDee Strickland working together!

Now I have an even greater incentive to watch the show. Not to mention all of the ABC events Jason will attend with KaDee. And socializing with her fellow network mates. Jason and Josh Holloway in the same room.

I suddenly feel very faint.

Thanks for posting the new, Jen! Good for KaDee! I'm mad as a hatter they have to introduce that new character as Meredith's half sister / rival for Derek's affections, but now I'm perking up on the Kate Walsh spin-off!

I believe the stars will be shining again next week at the Television Critics functions next week?

I wonder if JB will follow KaDee's lead and try to look for a TV gig with a steadier paycheck?

Yeah it's great that Kate and Kadee working at the same project. So we are going to see more pictures of KaDee and hopefully more of Jason as well.

I just want to see them together in a photo and I can die happy. It shouldn't be too hard. Hopefully one of them is a fan of Lost. And KaDee just happens to be a Georgia native like Josh. They get to talking and reminiscing and she introduces him to her husband. It's perfect!

I'm thinking more of Katie and KaDee & Jason running into each other at one of these ABC things. You know it's going to happen considering PP is the sister show to GA and will be tied pretty closely, I imagine. I know I'm not the only one who thought it.

It would just be really...weird...
