MyrnaLynne, That's Great that you and Mr. ML will be the Guests of Honor at the next Family Party!

It is a nice way of being able to see the family a little more often besides just at Christmas time and at BIL's cottage party. Who thought of it, Bossy Betty? I wouldn't be surprised if it were.

Did your artwork come?! I'm so excited for you to get it!

I love getting new stuff, altho' I don't do it very often, but when I do, (like my new end tables), I was VERY excited! LOL!

I'll have to take a picture of them and show you as they are Very Unique. My kids looked at me and said, "HUH?!" when they came! LOL! Well, I love them and that's what counts, right?! LOL!

And yes, my stupid pain seemed to have transferred! Grrr! Went for the X-Rays yesterday morning, and of course he had me move in such ways that I thought I would scream! UGH! Glad that's over with!

Now if he finds anything other than arthritis, he'll call. But otherwise, we'll just discuss it at my next appt next month.

I'm so sorry you are loosing your Dr.

My Dr. is leaving too!

But... he is starting his own practice and told us a little about it. He said that he would take MOTHER and I but here's the catch... he's going to have to charge a fee every month to all his patients.

$150.00 per patient
$200.00 per couple
$250.00 per family with a dependant child

But he told MOTHER and I that he would charge us as a couple

but he said, that he would work with us to see what we could pay because he'd hate to loose us as patients... especially me since we go way back! Heck, I used to work for him 10+ years ago and he was even my Dr. then!

It's pretty pricey, but I can't stand the thought of loosing him as a Dr, so I'm going to bite the bullet and go with him and pay the monthly (reduced fee).

He's top notch and brilliant, and so kind and caring, and just a Great guy. He's more like a good friend too and I trust him with my life. A good Dr is hard to find, and I just can't loose him!

Poddy, Yes, you do need to VENT, so vent away Sweetie! We're here for you Always!

How long will you be staying in OC? That's where you are, right?

You never really said, but I assume that's where you were headed.

Well, I slept my 2 hours last night from 2am to 4am and that was it... Wen's body said that was enough. (sigh)

I hope they can do a sleep study with only 2hrs sleep. I'll have to ask the New Sleep Study person that I see. My New Insurance will not cover that other Dr.

Well, I really don't want to have to drive 50miles away anyway to have a sleep study done anyway.

But as I was looking in my new Insurance book, they have 2 sleep study clinics right in my area... one right in town and one in the next town over!

Now THAT I can handle!

Hmm, I'm getting hungry for breakfast, so I'm going to go eat something and be back later...

The package man came all right - and left me the 'I was here' sticker on my door, to sign so he'll leave the box. So it should be there tonight when I get home!

(Unless somebody steals it off the porch... worry worry)

I never heard of doctors that charge fees like that!

Then again, I'm spoiled with having a health plan through work - although I guess I pay plenty for it out of my check every week. That's so nice that he loves you and your mother as patients and wants to keep you. As my sister in law was saying, doctors are so busy these days, they don't even know who you are. She passed her doctor on the stairs and the doctor didn't even give her a look. Sad.

Tell us about the new end tables! What do they look like? Are they those twisted wood things I've seen in catalogs?

I realized I've had that box of stuff I got from Lakeside and I haven't even opened it!

I was busy with our trip and all - need to open it up, make sure it's all okay, and wrap up the gifts in there. I realized Hanukah comes a couple of weeks before Christmas so it's 'early' this year. I think next year it's WAY early, like in November!

I'm thinking of just peeking at my new artwork and wrapping it up to give to myself for Hanukah. You can't buy anything for yourself this time of year, or it has to be a present! LOL!

My son hasn't even cashed in those winning lottery tickets from the party - that's how much he needs the money!

That's great that there's a closer sleep lab. I think they have some of those in the Holiday Inn across the street from the hospital where I work. LOL, make use of the spare bedrooms.

Well, MLette and I watched hours and hours of dancing last night - we watched the Monday show she'd taped, and then the 'results' show after that on TV. Another good elimination - pretty woman, but couldn't dance.

Some of the people are quite good already, and nobody is unlikeable so - a good season. Our Aunt Millie used to teach dance/be a dancer and she and her daughters LOVE that show, get together and watch it. But it's on for so many hours, a couple of days in a row, that keeping up with it is like a job!

I've always worried about my packages being left at the door too and them being stolen... it is a worry, but hopefully your package will be there when you get home Ok safe and sound.

Have you told Mr. ML about the artwork yet? Just wondering. He was probably curious about the slip on the door about the package delivery. Or did he notice?

Yes, my Dr. is very special, and if he didn't know me after being his patient for more than 10 years, then there'd be a Big Problem! LOL!

I guess he has to charge a fee because he's going into practice by himself, and medical equipment is very expensive I'm sure so he has to pay for it somehow. And he's not going to charge his patients those fees forever... just while he's getting established, which could be a couple of years... who's to knows?

Oh, my end tables... well they are not your average end tables. They are from a French collection so they look like mini bistro table... they are REALLY pretty. They are a soft creamed color with delicate red and soft pink roses hand painted on the top with light green leafing too. They are round with scalloped edging too with a little bit of the leafing painted around the scallops. I know it sounds strange to have bistro tables as my endtables but I needed something in my BORING living room to make the living room perk up and they do the job quite nicely.

Lainie is sleeping right now, but as soon as she gets up, I'll have her take a picture of one and show you. I'd take a picture myself, but she has the camera.

I didn't realize that Hanukah was so early this year. Can you really wait that long for your artwork? I don't think I could!

My sons would probably be the same way about the lottery ticket winnings. LOL! But if it were BIG Winnings, they'd practically kill themselves getting to cash them in! LOL!

Wow, that's something that the hospital uses the hotel next door for their sleep studies... pretty fancy if you ask me!

No, the sleep studies here are soooo clinical as you definitely know that you are in a clinic rather than in a comfy setting.

Yes, DWTS is REALLY a LONG Show!

It over-laps what I want to watch some times, but I really never got into the show. It seems that there was something else that I always wanted to watch instead while it was on, so I never ended up watching it.

MOTHER called and she wants to go out. She's got Cabin Fever and she wants me to go get her, so I have to go for now. I'll try to be back later...

It's true, running a medical practice is big bucks. I'm hoping we can transfer to the health practice in the same building where our doctor was.

I was coughing so hard last night, Mr ML actually got up to come in and look at me, make sure I was still breathing. Scary! Sounding like I was going to hack up a lung. Stupid allergies. It turned really COLD last night and the heat was coming up, which makes me cough even worse.

It was around 38 degrees this morning!

Oh gosh, the box came and it was HUGE and heavy, and no hiding it from Mr ML. And he was MAD

- I could tell he was mad, although he just sort of went off and sulked at the computer and wasn't talking to me. But he never talks to me and he's always on the computer etc, so - how could I be sure?

Well - he was mad. The picture is bigger than I thought and the framing weighs a TON - it's set into wood with wood in back and a metal frame around it. Never seen anything framed like that - very very heavy. It's very pretty, though.

I'll need to find a stud/beam to attach it too, or it'll pull the plaster off the wall. sigh. I shouldn't be so impulsive! We could have bought a new refrigerator with that money.

I'm liking that show 'Eastwick' - it's spicy. Funny, MLette told me the New England (?) town they are in is actually the same set on the Warner lot in Burbank that was Stars Hollow on Gilmore Girls. I visited there, with FearlessLeader and Maggie - that was a great trip to LA.

'Glee' is fun too - quirky. Musical. MLette likes that one. She was so cold yesterday, she was scrunched up next to me, trying to steal some heat. She just can't stand the cold. We need to move away from the cold and my fall allergies.

YouTube is the greatest thing since sliced bread - I was wanting to hear some songs and there they were (several version of them. Here's a nice old timey gospel song by the Carter family I really like, 'We Shall Meet Someday" (hope it works)
