| ![]() Hey all! Wow Christmas is right around the corner... I hope everyone will have a wnderful jolly marry Christmas and in case you won't have time to stop by a Happy New Year! ![]() ML, yea it's wonderful getting all wrapt up around a TV show again... but it won't be like it was with Roswell. I can just tell. Roswell was a special thing for me. ![]() Journyman got cancelled? I just saw a promo for it today and recognazied the one going though time and I thought I might actually give it a shot. It's getting cancelled already? I guess I won't give it a shot. I just hate getting into a show and then learning there won't be any more of it.I'm so sorry to hear about the weather. But then I guess it's just like that over there this time of the year. Stay warm!![]() If won't stop here tomarrow have a Marry Christmas and have fun with the family and the games! ![]() Scottie, have a wonderful time on your time of work! Marry Christmas! ![]() podmommy, oh weedends weddings def have their advantages! Well it makes sense that Viv just doesn't want to go to any more parties. I know I would just want to stay home after going to a few. ![]() I hope the little cat won't cause to much issues with your sister. But then Liz couldn't have lft him at hom all alone now could she.![]() Have a wonderful Marry Christmas together! ![]() Wen, yea getting up the day after to go to work is usually a problem but not to big. I would say that we do the weddings whenever we want because we don't usually have to fly to another state to be in the ceremony. At most it's a 2 hour ride and even that to rare. So the fact we're never to far of makes the whole wedding thing eazier. ![]() Have a Marry Christmas! Mags, Have a wonderful time at your brother's! And have a wonderful Marry Christmas! ![]() all and a Marry Christmas!__________________ Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum.----- Baz Luhrmann You don't have to be crazy to be my friend.... | Hey all, Merry almost Christmas! LOL, Mr ML in his own little world thought we could go out shopping yesterday (Saturday, last weekend before Christmas) and it wouldn't be a zoo because it was 'early' (10 a.m.!) Hahaha. Just because he likes to sleep til noon on weekends doesn't mean the rest of the world is sleeping. I should have bet him some money on that one (but betting with your husband is sort of counterproductive, as its the same money). Then he tried going out in the afternoon to a different place - same story. Couldn't even get into the mall parking lot, never mind find a place to park. We ended up eating a very early dinner out (restaurant near the packed mall) and scooting home instead. He and MLette ended up going back out at 10 p.m. and found a parking spot and she got what she needed (for somebody at her work) before the store closed up for the night! He still needs to get something for one nephew (he said he'd take care of it because I was freaking out too much about it) so - not my problem anymore! ![]() Just have to do some wrapping - well, a lLOT of wrapping , but I don't mind that. I've mostly had my nose stuck in a book lately - I already read 2 of the 3 new Tanya Huff novels I got in a few days and I'm itching to start the third/last one. Boss is on vacation and I only worked a 1/2 day on Thursday and Friday. VB you should watch 'Journeyman' anyway because it's cool and they probably had 10 or 12 episodes (I don't know). They had one short season and it was very cool and interesting. Good time travel science fiction. I think you'd like it - even knowing you won't have years and years of it to watch. I think it's worth watching. LOL Podmom the cat in the basement. Hopefully her cat allergy is like mine and as long as I don't pat them (and rub my eyes afterwards) I'm usually fine with them. It's too bad because I love cats - but I'm allergic to them. Christmas is going to be so nice with your girls! And the cat will be upset wherever he (she?) is, not being at home. And better not underfoot with guests stepping on the tail. I just heard from my dad (because why would my brother bother talking to me?) that my niece in California got accepted to a bunch of colleges (her big interest is Shakespeare so is anybody surprised?) Just hope they get a lot of good scholarships for her because they are so broke. Maggie have a wonderful trip to Van and a great Christmas - safe travels! Will miss you!! Beautiful photo (I think one of yours?) too. If you see Ms Kalaya, say hi for me too. We have had snow and more snow. Now it's warming up and softening up. Mr ML has been out shoveling like a fiend. He's decided to make a parking spot out front, so when the family comes for Christmas Eve to our cousin's across the street, at least one of them can park there. The snow bank in front of our house is probably 5 or 6 feet wide and about 3 or 4 feet high! He is nothing if not ambitious/energetic. Parking this time of year is a cut throat business - literally. People put stuff in the parking spots they've shovelled out (garbage cans, old chairs etc) and if you move those and park there - you might well be killed or at least your tires slashed. Although maybe not around here in the 'nice' neighborhood - but I wouldn't count on it not happening! People have been killed over winter parking spots. Anyway, we are very lucky to have a driveway and can park off the street, and we've had both cars squished into the little driveway since ths snowstorms. Personally, I don't plan to drive the car again until the tulips come up!Oh Wen that's so awful your mother filled your head with horrible stories of rats (not untrue stories, but still, not something kids need in their heads) especially when you had them scritching in the walls. SHIVER! I really really don't like rats at all - too big, too creepy a tail - mice I can deal with. Hugs! LOL, thanks for the flying pizza video. Too funny. My friend sent me a video of cats doing hysterically funny things (but I think it's too big to link here). I laughed and laughed. Cats certainly can get themselves into silly situations (and of course then act like they meant to do that and look haughty afterwards). I had a big plan to bake a cranberry topped cake for Christmas - guess what - no cranberries at the grocery store! Oh well, it might end up being brownies instead. Was thinking I should get my lazy butt in gear, but all I want to do is curl up with a good book. ![]() __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| :> Thanks Maxkyleshpr for the Santa-Nick. Very very sexy indeed! ![]() Well I got everything wrapped last night (yay, me!). Mr ML and MLette went out shopping AGAIN and found that last gift for the little nephew. Wrapping wasn't too bad, except MLette wanted to include a little bag of candy with the nice square boxes the glass candy jars we're giving as gifts, which made wrapping them a whole big pain in the butt instead of easy. Corners of candy packet kept poking through the gift wrap, etc. Oh well, they're lumpy but they're wrapped! It's the thought that counts, right? Right!?! <maniacal pre-Christmas hysterical laughter>![]() Working today - it's a ghost town here - nice and quiet. Just one other guy on the whole floor, one of the Fellows (sort of specialty student doctor) who must have to work today, but luckily he's quiet as a mouse - he sits around the corner and I never even know he's here! ![]() I still think they should just stop pretending people are going to work this week, and close up everything from today until after New Year's because very little gets done anyway! Ok, back to it. Hope everybody is having a good day! And safe travels to those travelling, and happy holiday-ing. __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| Hey all!! I hope everyone's having a wonderful time right now! Well the one's in the US are suppoused to be sleeping so I hope you'll have a wonderful time openning all of those presents! ![]() Marry Christmas All!!! ![]() Well I have to find a way to learn some higher-level English (both writing and talking) so if anyone can help me with that I'd apreciate it! That work I'm aimimng for is icloding that in the test and I want to be as good as I possibly can! So any Web-sites anything else that can help would be wonderful! There's a while to the test but as I said I want to be as good as I can be. ML, well there's practicaly no Christmas here and even I know that in any state or country with a big percentage of Christians shopping 2 days b4 Christmas is practicaly impossible! So I really don't get why in the world would Mr ML and MLette would go shopping is behond me! I mean siriously. There's stuff that you just don't do.... well I'm def glad they found what they were looking for and were actually able to purchase it. Well I've just seen to many shows and fell in love with them just to find out they've been cancelled way to many times! And I'm usually very disappointed after that so trust me. Seeing Journyman when I know it was cancelled b4 the 1st season was finished is the worst thing I can do. I just hate being in the day after. You know when you're at th day when the show is suppoused to be and there really is nothing to see. And you know it's just started (the show). I just hate that!So buttom line... I try to see Journyman. If I run into it fine. But I won't make an effort to.![]() Wow! Mr ML sure has a lot of energy! I mean other people can park there if he doesn't stand and gard there all the time! I will def not have the energey to shovell all of that snow even if people I do want to park there would have eventually park there so to maybe lose it to others? Theres no way I'll work all that time! That being said I def admire him. ![]() That's really nice that you niece has been accepted to so many colleges! It's so good that sh has so manny to choose from and that some of them can actually give her a scholarship. That is great! That must be wired to have to work on Christmas at the US.... But then you are working in a hospital so that makes sense. maxkyleshpr, have a Marry Christmas! Love the Nick postcard!![]() sirio, Have a wonderful Christmas! Loving the Jason post card!![]() Have a wonderful day all! ![]() __________________ Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum.----- Baz Luhrmann You don't have to be crazy to be my friend.... | Merry Christmas Everyone! Everyone is still sleeping here because Everyone went to bed way too late last night! But of course, I'm up because as you all know I'm a terrible sleeper. ![]() Anyway, even the pooches are sacked out! LOL! Teddi-Behr and Belle are laying bum to bum sound asleep! No 6am breakfast for them either! It's still sitting in their bowls! Now, they really are tired! With Everyone being up so late, of course they were right in the middle of things, afraid to miss a trick! LOL! We all went to my Bro's last night, (an hour each way), and I was happy to say the weather was perfect for traveling... no fog at all either! ![]() Munched happily, talked and laughed, and then played the "Famous Mystery Yankee Swap." Everyone had lots of fun and MOTHER got the lump of coal for the "Third" year in a row!!! LOL! We all laughed our heads off when she unwrapped it, and heard her scream... "Not Again!" ![]() And her only other gift was ... ready... "Reindeer Poop! ![]() We laughed hard over that too! ![]() I won three gifts this year... and it was all candy! That's Ok, I'll eat it a little at a time, with being diabetic and all. ![]() One of them were Lindt Chocolates, and I thought of you MyrnaLynne. They really are sooo good! ![]() There was one big present that everyone kept stealing from one another and it was so funny... it was the Hot present that Everyone wanted! With my Bro's sense of humor, that made me leary, but he surprised me as it turned out to be one of those big boxes full of snack size chips, and my No. 1 son just groaned because he almost ended up with it! LOL! (Remember he works for Frito-Lay and he works with Chips Every Day!) LOL! My Bro' was Really hoping that my son ended up with it, but he didn't! LOL! Everyone, enjoy your families today. ![]() Merry Christmas Everyone, and safe travels to all who have to travel today. ![]() Love, ![]() Wen __________________ JB's Obsessed Fan#64 ( I LOVE JASON BEHR!!!) ![]() "God never gives you more than you can handle. | Happy Day after Christmas (or Boxing Day if anybody is in a UK country/Canada)! We really get cheated not having the day after Christmas be a holiday too, here in the US! Although a lot of people are still away - anybody who had to travel anywhere for Christmas isn't going to instantly show up for work the very next morning!Anyway, glad everybody got through the holidays! We had perfect weather here too - it warmed up, was sunny, no storms. We still have lots of snow, but we had warm weather and rain, so it's shrunk down quite a bit (but I don't think it will every be gone! LOL!) Baked a last minute cake, and we drove down to Mr ML's sister's house. Cake was still hot and I had it on my lap, on top of a thick towel! It's a small house and a big family but everybody packed in there somehow (about 25 people?) and it was a good time. Nice turkey dinner with all the fixings. The bossy sister inflicted the singing of the Twelve Days of Christmas on us again (having people pick numbers/be assigned verses - really dumb) and the Yankee Swap went pretty well. Most people liked what they opened and wanted to keep it (I got a Magic 8 ball! Lol), there wasn't a lot of swapping (or a lot of laughing) although one gift came with Mardi gras plastic beads on the ribbon and one of the brothers got that one swapped to him (it was a sewing kit) and he was wearing the beads the rest of the night (giggle). The hot items were a big empty plastic tool box (go figure) and a big plastic tube of large gum balls! Somebody's dentist will be happy this year. I killed myself baking a cake to bring before we left (cranberry upside down cake) - and nobody even had any. Oh well, it is kind of ugly with the smashed/cooked cranberries on top, but it's really delicious. I ate a piece and took it home so - if I cook again, I'll make something traditional that people want, like apple or pecan pie I guess. Or chocolate chip cookies or brownies. Would have been a lot simpler, and would have been eaten (somebody made brownies with chopped up candy cane pieces in there - Mr ML Jr liked those a lot).Everybody liked what we gave as the family gift and we got a lot of nice random stuff (the usual suspicious homemaked stuff by the neice who is the worst cook), and of course, the bratty nephew Mr ML and MLette had run everywhere to find a particular toy for opened it and whined "But I have this one already" (whine whine). Yep, his mother screwed us again, telling them to get him something and then getting it for him too. She is such a ditz! She totally doesn't understand the principle of the Yankee Swap either (she had one of her kids play, and put in a toy for her kid - expecting somehow magically her kid was going to get that one). Anway, that was Christmas. Dog missed us like crazy being alone - Christmas is his worst holiday (as he never gets to attend).Christmas eve another relative who lives across the street (and is 90!) has a family party for another part of the family and that is always very nice. The food is never anything we remotely want to eat, so we just go and chat with family and it's very low key and nice. That lady is 90 and still bakes amazing plates of cookies to give everybody to take home as a gift! She is such an amazing woman (and amazingly nice too). I know there are websites to brush up on English grammar rules, VB but I don't know of any to learn English. But I'm sure they are out there! And I think your English is very good, just sometimes you spelling of words is a little creative/how they sound (phonetic). Oh, MLette and I watched that Israeli movie "Ushpizin" and it was pretty good. In Hebrew (and Yiddish) with subtitles. A religious guy and his wife get visited by two escaped convicts on Sukkot. (Shades of 'Rites of Passage'?) Wen LOL that Mother got the lump of coal and the reindeer poop as gifts! I'm sure she was not amused!I heard from Maggie and she made it safely to Christmas in Vancouver (and that is her photograph). Oh well, managed to survive another Christmas and on to 2008 (and Mr ML's birthday). And can't forget Jason Behr's birthday this coming weekend. Can't believe our baby boy is 34 already (just like I can't believe my little nieces who were teenagers at our wedding are in their 40s now with big kids of their own!!) ![]() __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| We had pouring pouring rain last night! Weird. And I expected sheets of ice this morning - and it was just wet. Phew! So weird having absolutely nothing on television - I guess we should get used to it (writer's strike). sigh. Holidays must have knocked me out - I fell asleep at 7:30 on the sofa and slept until 9:15! And then had to go to bed at 10:30! LOL! ![]() __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||
