| Mr ML and I watched 'Eli Stone' last night - Greg Berlanti is doing it (he did Dawson's Creen and other stuff) (he said once if they make a movie of his life, he wants Jason Behr to play him - we like Greg Berlanti!) - MLette rolled her eyes at the show and went to bed, but we watched and it was good. Could have been stupid and annoying, but it was very well done, kind of charming. It is kind of weird that this guy has a dangerous inoperable medical condition that seems like it's going to be a wonderful thing in his life instead of a curse - okay, that's weird. Also impressive the guy is a lawyer and his brother is a doctor, especially growing up with an alcoholic/crazy father - wonder how they managed that. ahem. The only problem is being on at 10 on a weeknight, that's kind of late. Might have to tape it and watch it the next day, if we decide we like it. It's got a golden lead-in, with 'Lost'. I tried to watch 'Lost' but I just couldn't do it. I was shocked how much fatter Jorge Garcia got, too - I thought he'd been losing some weight. Guess not. He's a wonderful actor, that big dude. I still like the original main characters but I just can't watch the odd stuff the writers do with them! The jumping around in time is a pretty cool device, I have to grudgingly admit. And would be wildly tricky to write, I would imagine. The whole thing is just so twisty and dark and ominous. I left and came back when it was over.Smallville came back and I thought it was a very good one (considering how bad SVille has been lately). LOL, I heard "House" was on after the Superbowl, and I thought that meant the Superbowl was on Tuesday night! LOL, that's how ignorant I am about sports and how much I totally ignore this stuff. Although I had no idea the New England Patriots were about to set some sort of historic record if they win. That Tom Brady is such a cutie. Not such a good boyfriend, it seem, ahem... Anyway, I didn't know there was a House Sunday AND Tuesday, that's good. Well, they deserve it, since they take the show off all the time for stupid American Idol. So annoying that Hugh Laurie would win an award for the show, and they'd immediately take it off the air for several weeks afterward, so if anybody saw him get the award and think "Gee, maybe I should check out his show" - they couldn't! These networks are run by idiots - sigh but that's an old story. What a scamp Uncle Richie was, pretending he couldn't talk! LOL! OMG no wonder Satan Jr was like that, when he was spawned by a kleptomaniac She-devil!! What a truly evil woman!![]() Spring in California sounds so nice. San Diego is supposed to be gorgeous, which is why it's one of the most expensive places in the country - everybody wants to go there and share in the gorge-osity of it. I thought LA was really nice. I also thinkI'd like the Pacific Northwest a lot - I want to go out and check that part of the country out some day. I know it rains a lot (but rain is better than snow). I love spring too! I keep looking at the pile of snow next to my driveway and hoping the bulbs I planted will be coming up there in a few more months. Mr ML piled such a mountain of ice and snow on top of the hydrangea bush in our front yard, I won't be surprised at all if it's dead when spring comes. Supposed to be rainy and slushy and icy next - but so far, so good, storm hasn't come yet. Oh, I just got the coolest book - it just came out Jan 29. "Sharp Teeth" by Toby Barlow. Story about a dogcatcher in LA, his girlfriend who (so far he doesn't know) is a werewolf, and the war between various packs of werewolves in LA. And if that isn't cool enough, the whole book is written in blank verse like a long (unrhyming) poem. I'm about halfway through and it's amazing. If you like that sort of thing of course! It's his first book and it's brilliant. I read about it in a magazine and it sounded so intriguing I bought it! ![]() __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| Good afternoon everyone! TGIF!Wen - too funny that Ricky and Skipper had interchangeable bodies! I didn't know about the doll whose hair grew, that must've been fun. Wasn't there a doll named Midge who was another of Barbie's crew? I think she was sort of nerdy, with a "flip" hair do and freckles. I don't think we had one of those, but I seem to remember her name... Good to know that your med tech found the right vein and didn't cause you a lot of undue stress. I have really big veins in the crook of my arms (the usual bloock sucking vein) and once a doctor told me I'd make a good junkie! Thank G-d I never took him up on the career advice!I wish I'd seen Eli Stone after ML's review, but I was so tired last night and 10:00 is really too late for me most of the time. I honestly *have* to read at night to fall asleep, so I start at 10:00 and fall asleep that way. If I watch a show at 10:00 I don't fall asleep as easily. Complicated and boring way to say that I missed the show, eh? ![]() ML - I never heard of Greg Berlanti! How cool that he said that he'd like Jason to play him in a movie of his life, I'd love to audition to play his wife! ![]() We've got some wildlife left in Laurel, but not much more than you do. We do get a huge bunch of robins in the spring too, I love seeing them. We have lots of birds b/c I live in an older neighborhood with lots of trees. We also have lots of deer since I live about a mile from a reservoir with a huge lake and trees. Sometimes I come home at night and there are deer standing in my driveway. We've also seen coyotes around us, and even some big cat thing was reported around the neighborhood, like a bobcat or lynx or something like that. But it was never confirmed, just people reported seeing a BIG cat (and not some overweight house cat). Speaking of overweight, I agree that Jorge Garcia's gained a lot more weight, I thought after being on an island, probably subsisting on fruit and fish, Hurley'd lose some weight. But I still love him. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Lost return last night, I hope it's a better season than last one. I really missed the Losties! __________________ "Life is hard; it's even harder if you're stupid"--John Wayne | |||

| Phew! It was driving me nuts that my post wasn't there, I couldn't open it or see it, but my name was there as having posted - was freaking me out! I see now what was happening to the rest of you that had you so spooked your posts were gone! That's so weird. Thanks Wen for giving the system a little kick in the pants. Good 'Moonlight' on again last night, so I could tape it, although I've seen that one a few times now. LOL, I ran into a neighbor walking her dog this morning, who I guess last time we talked I must have gushed about 'Moonlight' because the first thing she said was "Moonlight"! Oh, I just love it.. Oh.. that guy...!" and she was blushing and it was so cute! She couldn't say much more with her husband and dog and baby there. I found that I was sad to see Josh again, now that they've killed off his character, and I missed the guy! Even though while he was 'alive', he got on my last nerve. Go figure. Maybe it's like Heath Ledger - didn't realize I'liked the guy at all, until he was suddenly and untimely gone and I felt so bad. sigh. Sounds like he might have had pneumonia and might have been having trouble with drugs, from US Weekly - but then again, I think his family is already suing them for that article so - who knows! Easy to smear somebody when they're gone. They drive people so hard to make those movies and shows, work people halfway to death. You have to have a lot of stamina. I remember how exhausted Jason looked after a season of Roswell. That's the only nice thing about the strike - the actors are getting some rest! But I think they've napped long enough! Back to work! Not sure Greg Berlanti has a wife, as he's a gay fella by all reports. But a show that goes til 11 is too late for me also, unless it's on Friday and I don't have to get up so early next morning. I was staying up til midnight to watch 'Blood Ties' on Lifetime on Friday night, and it HAS to be really good, to keep me up that late! sigh. I miss that one so much; I'm still hoping somebody will come to the rescue and make another season of it, but every day that goes by, it seems less likely.. ![]() Wow, that's cool about the big cat - wonder if it was a cougar/puma/ mountain lion/bobcat (all the same thing! LOL!) catamount. :> We saw one rabbit in the park and I was amazed, as we don't have those around (had them in the back yard in Pennsylvania though). Not many chipmunks either - way too many cats on the prowl here I suppose. But nothing as big as deer! We do seem to be getting cooler birds, since they turned the train tracks into a park (25 years ago or so). Saw a husband and wife little woodpeckers on the tree outside my kitchen window the other day! So cute. Well, they did find all those provisions down in the hatch - maybe Hurley ate them all. I used to hate when they'd make him run a lot in the shows, like 'ha,ha, let's make the fat guy run a lot, because it's funny.' Seemed mean to me, and made me worry they'd give the poor guy a heart attack.I'm worried what JJ Abrams is going to do to Star Trek. I'm not really sure he's that nice a person (even though I admit he's a very smart person). __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| Hi Everyone! ![]() Well, the Groundhog saw his Shadow, so they say 6 more weeks of Winter. But I think that's just for the East Coast, because here on the West Coast, Spring always comes a lot sooner than that. The West Coast needs it's Own Groundhog! LOL! Scottie, Yes, Midge, I did mention her. I did have her too in my "crew" of Barbies. ![]() And as for the Barbie crew member "Theresa" that had the hair that grew? Yes, it was fun making her hair grow long, then short again until that part broke, and she no longer had that function. Well, it was fun while it lasted. ![]() You are lucky to have such good veins! I unfortunately got MOTHER's Lousy veins, which are so tiny and thin, and collapse at the drop of a hat! UGH! So I'm a very hard Draw, which means when they don't listen to me, then I end up getting stabbed many, many times and still they don't get any blood! Grrrrr! That's when I want to STAB them and see how they like it!!! That's why I tell them right away that I'm a hard Draw, and I point out where they have their best shot at it, and pray they listen to me. Most of the time they do, but every now and then, I get an egotistical manic, and they insist on doing it their way, and of course they fail terribly at MY expense! Grrrr!!! Wow, that you sometimes have deer in your driveway. Not cool about the coyotes tho'! ![]() When I lived in Folsom, I lived right near the lake, and we also had deer coming up to our back yard. They are such beautiful creatures. Their eyes are so soulful. I don't know how anyone could ever shoot such a beautiful animal. ![]() We also had all kind of wildlife coming to our yard in Folsom. One morning when I looked out the window, I saw the biggest bird I had ever seen in my life, and I thought it was a Condor, but my neighbor told me it was a Turkey Vulture! It was Huge, and it was Ugly! It was sitting on the telephone poll right outside my large picture window in my living room, just staring at me, while I just stared back at it! What a creepy feeling it gave me! (shiver!) We also had coyotes, mountain lions, an occasional bear, jack rabbits, rattle snakes, and we also had to watch out for black widow spiders too. We also have chipmunks and squirrels but we aren't suppose to go near them since they carry the "Black Plague"! ![]() During one of our heavy drought seasons, we had a brown bear and her cub come down from the mountains and visit our local shopping center. That scared the daylights out of everyone! ![]() The authorities came with tranquilizer guns and gave the bears a good nap while they transported them back into the mountains and left them food and water too for when they awakened. ![]() And I too was so glad that LOST finally came back on! I missed the show too! I hope it's a good Season too! You're welcome MyrnaLynne. I was hoping that my post would make the system "show" your post and it did just that! I'm glad too, because I love to read your posts! ![]() And yes, we get two HOUSE's this week; one on Sunday and the second on Tuesday! ![]() And ITA, the Networks are run by Total Idiots! ![]() Aw, I missed Moonlight because I didn't check to see if it was on because I didn't think it was going to be on... (did that make sense?) Hmm, both you and Scottie think Hurley gained more weight? I hadn't even noticed! I thought he just looked the same. I guess I'm not very observant. ![]() It's late, and I need to try and get some sleep. ![]() Biggest Hugs to All, ![]() Wen ![]() __________________ JB's Obsessed Fan#64 ( I LOVE JASON BEHR!!!) ![]() "God never gives you more than you can handle. | That's so annoying Wen, when medical people think they know better and won't listen. My friend in FL has a friend with old polio and she reacts weirdly to stuff because of that, and the doctor wouldn't listen and gave her whatever stuff anyway and she started having hallucinations and got really sick and had to go to a rehab for awhile to get over whatever this idiot gave her - that she told him not to - because it gave her such a bad reaction! One more 'Moonlight' coming on Friday (another rerun) and that's it, for awhile. ![]() I can't believe I'm so fixated on this Heath Ledger thing - I just picked up the People magazine with him on the cover this morning when I bought the Sunday paper (already have 2 other entertainment magazines we subscribe to about it). But I'm not alone - he was the top search topic on Lycos (and Michelle Williams and the Joker movie were #2 and #3). sigh. His death just really touched so many people so strongly. And it's not like I was even a fan when he was alive or gave him two thoughts! It's so strange. I'm glad they threw Britney in the nut house, because she obviously belongs there and needs massive amounts of help. Sad and pathetic case, that one. And dumb as a pile of rocks. LOL, California can have the Ground Squirrel (aren't there ground squirrels out that way?) Nobody puts much stock in the groundhog's predictions anyway, it's just a stupid event - like the Superbowl. ![]() Deer are magnificently beautiful and soulful creatures and I don't know why anybody would want to kill them either (except they're good to eat). Greg Berlanti has been executive producer and writer on Everwood, Brothers & Sisters, Dirty Sexy Money, Eli Stone, and Dawson's Creek. He's a year older than Jason (at least that's the birthdate he claims) and a very smart and talented mover and shaker in H-wood. Of course I only heard of him because he talked about Jason once, probably because Jason was on Dawson's and impressed him with his talent (and incredible good looks). ahem. I finally went to this new cupcake store that opened near us - all they sell is cupcakes and I'd been dying to try them - and they were AWFUL! I couldn't believe it. How can you specialize in one thing - and not do it well at all? Grossest frosting and most icky tasteless cupcakes I ever tried. And expensive too! Go figure!![]() Have good rest of weekend my dear JOFfies! ![]() __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| That's just awful what that Dr did to that poor lady with the old polio! What did her Dr think? That she was lying to him? Like anyone would make that stuff up?! Well I hope he felt good and guilty that he made his patient sick! Idiot!I also am guilty about checking out Heath L. and looking him up via internet at all these different sites when he 1st passed away. I must say, I did learn a lot about him, where as, if he hadn't died, I wouldn't have given him a second thought. Terrible to say, I know. I feel so bad for his family and his little girl tho'. It's the ones that are left behind that suffer the most. So sad. ![]() So, there's going to be one more Moonlight?! Well, at least I'll be able to catch that one! Too bad they are putting it to bed for a while. I would have loved to have caught up with the reruns. And ITA, Britney definitely needed to go into the nut house! MOTHER and I were discussing her just the other day about when she was under her parents tight supervision, she more or less had the leash so tight that she couldn't blink the wrong way, but as soon as she was old enough to be on her own, all Hell broke loose and she's been screwing up her life ever since! I feel bad for her poor babies. Apparently, the father, (who has temp custody), isn't much better than Britney! Really, those poor, poor babies! ![]() LOL! So we can have a Western Ground Squirrel to compensate for an Eastern Groundhog, eh?! LOL! Well, yes, we do have ground squirrels, but we are suppose to stay away from them since they carry the Black Plague! Somehow, I don't think they'd be any takers on the one to be the one that pulls the squirrel from it's infected den. ![]() Wow, that Greg Berlanti is only one year older than Our Jason?! Hmm, I thought he was much older because he's so accomplished! And I'm sure Jason did impress him with both his talent & his looks. ![]() That's pretty bad that the cupcake store sells lousy cupcakes! That's like this new bakery that moved into my neighborhood... was suppose to be fabulous! Everyone raved about it... Best thing since 7up! Anyway, we were having a little pot luck at work, and so I decided that I'd stop at this bakery and pick up a couple dozen of cookies from them. And while there, I also ordered a cup of decaf coffee to go. Well, 1st of all, their cookie selection was terrible! They didn't even have a dozen of one kind, so I had to mix and match. (1st Strike!) And I asked if they were freshly baked that morning, and the girl said no, they were from the day before! (2nd Strike!) So, I asked to taste one... It was dry, hard, crumbly, and tasted stale! (3rd Strike!) So I told her to forget the cookies and I'd just take my coffee to go. When I got in my car, I took a sip of the coffee, and it was OLD, and tasted like it kept getting reheated! (4th Strike!) And I NEVER went back! They weren't in business long, and I could see why. It looked beautiful inside and out, but their product was TERRIBLE! Well, I got my birthday present early from MOTHER. She chipped in with me so I could get the matching recliner yesterday for my living room and it looks so nice! ![]() Funny thing I noticed tho' last night while I was in the living room talking with No.2 son and Lainie. I was sitting on the couch, and they both were sitting in the new recliners, (because they snagged them 1st!) I knew they'd be the favorite seats in the house! LOL!No.2 son is going over to his friends house today to watch the Super Bowl, but mostly to watch the commercials! LOL! And No.1 son is madder than a hornet because he was suppose to have today off, but at the last minute, his day off was yanked and he has to work after all because of someone cried loud enough and had the boss switch it, when NO Switching is ALLOWED! Hmm, now how did that happen?! Anyway, he won't miss the game entirely, but he's still mad about it because he was going to have his friends over... and he had lots of snacks (Chips Galore!) LOL! (Remember he works for Frito-Lay!) Anyway, maybe his friends will still come over, just later. As for me and the Super Bowl, I could care less. I don't care for sports at all. As a matter of fact, I just found out yesterday, who was playing in the game and where it was being played! LOL! Well, since I'm originally from N.E., then I guess I'll say "Go Pats", but frankly, I really could care less who wins. ![]() Hope Everyone is having a Great Weekend! ![]() Hugs to All, ![]() Wen __________________ JB's Obsessed Fan#64 ( I LOVE JASON BEHR!!!) ![]() "God never gives you more than you can handle. | I tried to start reading all of the SO's you guys made but I really can't right now. An hour ago a bombing injury occured in the south of Israel. We still don't know how many people got hurt. Thing is we didn't have a suicide bomber around in a long time... so it's really shocking to deal with it again. I feel so out of place right now... I really don't know what to do and how to react. Another thing is that it happened in a prety small city in the south of Israel.... the south is usually safe of all of that.... but the border with Egypt is now gone since the Palestine people had it torn down over 2 weeks ago and they are still trying to build it back. That suicide bomber probebly came in from Egypt since the border fance is basicly gone. So yea.... situation is pretty unstable over here now and I just feel alitle restless..... yea it happened pretty far (Dimona, the city where it happened is about 4 1/2 hours ride from me, which in Israel in a big distance) from me but it's just...... Sorry to bring everyone down.... I'm just really shocked right now..... and restless and I'm just a little lost...... I just can't really sit and read everything you guys wrote.... sorry. I guess I'll just go and sit infront of the TV and see if there are more news at the moment. ![]() __________________ Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum.----- Baz Luhrmann You don't have to be crazy to be my friend.... | HUGS, VB - I heard about Palestinians knocking down the fence and running into Egypt to buy things, but it never occurred to me they could sneak into Israel by cutting through Egypt that way! That is terrible! Things have been relatively quiet in Israel for awhile, which makes this a big shock, but I suppose with all those hate-filled neighbors, it is not a complete surprise that they try again - especially as the Palestinians trying to rule themselves is a complete failure (as I expected it would be). They want their own country -and they want Israel too - but they can't keep order even among themselves. sigh. I hope they patch up that fence. I hope you stay safe! More hugs!I tried to avoid the big football gam last night, but I ended up watching the end of it, because I was waiting for stupid 'House' to come on afterward - which didn't come on until 11 p.m. and then I just set it to tape and went to bed, but even worse than watching football is watching them TALKING about football after it is over (I also hate when commentators talks about speeches after the speeches are given - you just heard it yourself! sigh). I just set the TV on 'mute' so I didn't have to listen to them flapping their mouths. So everybody in Boston is all depressed this morning, because their team lost in the last minute but I say they were too full of pride and expected to win too much maybe. And anyway, it's just a stupid sports game. It was getting on my last nerve so I'm just glad it's over - also glad there won't be a big victory parade tomorrow, which is also voting day here and was going to cause a big mess. But I'm sorry for the people who are disappointed (which seems to be about everybody). We went grocery shopping yesterday and the store was MOBBED with people, all buying food before the game started and they were making announcements about things to buy for 'the big game' etc - if I heard one more thing about Superbowl, I think I would go crazy! LOL! I did end up walking in and seeing Tom Petty play at halftime - I was surprised he and his band got so old. But then again, I guess I'm surprised I got so old too! ![]() And here it is, Monday again, and back to work. ![]() __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| Oh Vero, I'm so sorry that you have to live in such an unsafe place! I pray for you & your family every day for you to stay safe. Hopefully, it will be peaceful for a long, long time after this attack, I pray.MyrnaLynne, I also avoided the Super Bowl, but like you, got stuck with having the Post Game on Mute while waiting for HOUSE to come on. BTW, I think that who ever invented the MUTE button was a Genius! I love that button sooo much! Instead of watching the Super Bowl, Lainie and I caught some of the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet! It was really cute watching those puppies run around and tackle each other! I just adore puppies!!! Anyway, I enjoyed watching HOUSE. I thought it was a good epi, and I noticed that he didn't pop not one vicodin in this epi. Was bummed that he didn't play any music at the end of the epi too. ![]() I was surprised to see who Wilson was dating tho'. That caught me off guard as it did House! LOL! And I know what you mean about the markets being packed with peeps because No.2 son just ran to the market for one thing and he had to park all the way in the back of the parking lot, and he said every register had lines snaking back into the isles. It's a good thing what he wanted, he could get at customer service, so he didn't have to go in those horribly long lines. I read on E-News that Josh Hollaway, (Sawyer on LOST), was a victim of a home invasion in 2005, and they caught the guy and just sentenced him to 30 years! Apparently, he held Josh and his family at gun point while robbing them, and then took off with the stolen merchandise and with their Mercedes. The gunman didn't know that Josh was an actor. Which is a good thing I think! How awful and frightening for him and his family! Thank goodness that no one was hurt!I went to my Dr today, and my swelling is at 2+. It's been better, but it's been worse too. Maybe it's a little more because I really haven't drank much today, and I'm on 2 water pills and it's important that I stay hydrated. So, I have to remember to stay hydrated. ![]() And my inner sugar went from 7.0 to 6.2 which is very good! The holidays were tough, and it's hard to be good during the holidays... that's why my inner sugar went to 7.0, but see, I've been a good girl, and now it's down to 6.2! ![]() I wish Jason would get a show on TV again. I really miss seeing him every week! I do love seeing him in movies too, but a TV show again would be so great! Well, until then, I do have my Roswell DVD's that I keep re-watching, and that helps. ![]() Am missing Poddy & Maggie, and all our missing JOF's and JIT's! Hope you ladies are not too busy to post soon. ![]() Biggest Hugs to All the JOF's and JIT's, ![]() Wen __________________ JB's Obsessed Fan#64 ( I LOVE JASON BEHR!!!) ![]() "God never gives you more than you can handle. | We taped 'House' and went to bed and all watched it last night. It was very good (for a change!) funny, well written, intriguing. We all really liked it (although it had a lot of icky stuff we had to look away for!). I was never that thrilled with his original team, but these new people also leave me cold. Poor Jesse Spencer wasn't even in it at all. He's lucky if he gets one scene or one line these days. LOL, maybe they are punishing the Chase and Cameron couple for having a romance and then breaking it off. And more 'House' tonight! And it's about a Hasidic couple. You know he's going to say horrible mean things and tease them mercilessly (because that's what House does to everybody). My mother's cousin became Hasidic - he looks almost exactly like my husband too (that is, really handsome ). His sister could never get over the resemblance. Too bad they moved down to Texas so we don't see them anymore.Kyle XY was very exciting (well, as exciting as Kyle gets, which isn't much) and very good too. I just really like that show and that family a whole lot. It's just a really nice story. I guess I'm just a teen at heart! LOL! Although my friend's 60-something husband loves the show too, so... it's not just me! ![]() And the Blood Ties vampire boy had a little role on CSI: Miami last night and I happened to notice he'd be on and managed to see that - nice to see him but oh gosh what a terrible show that is!! Remembered why I never watch it (gets on my last nerve). Brendan Fehr was in it too (with red hair) and Adam Rodrigues (who was, let's say, not my favorite Roswell character, although I suppose better than Tess! LOL!). It was nice to see Brendan again, though. I almost did one of Mr ML's "Oh, look who it is....!" He is always watching TV and saying "Look who it is!" and then I run in to see who it is, and their part is over, you never see them again, and he of course has no idea who it was. LOL! And of course I found out 'Lipstick Jungle' is on opposite 'Eli Stone' on Thursdays. I'm sure LJ is going to be 10 kinds of terrible (ditto Cashmere Mafia) but Paul Blackthorne from Dresden Files is playing Brooke Shields' 'house husband' and that I have to see, at least once! They never mention the guys or show them in any of the publicity, it's all about the 3 women - but I wouldn't watch a show to see any of those 3 women. But they've been showing Paul Blackthorne in the commercials a little, so maybe they are wising up. I want to see it at least once (I'm sure I'll hate it, as I have never watched Sex and the City or any of that). shrug. Brooke Shields is pretty terrible in it, from what I've heard. She's always been beautiful (she's modeled since she was 11 months old) but she's never been that great an actress imho. LOL, yes, we watched the Puppy Bowl too - Mr ML Jr loves puppies - well, who doesn't love puppies, they are just so darn cute. Although 5 minutes of puppy bowl was about all I could take at a time. But puppies, or dogs playing together, is the cutest thing ever! ![]() ![]() Sorry you are puffier Wen. Mr ML Jr has been having this rash and his GP is such a dumb doctor. I'm sure he's allergic to something or other, but the question is what. sigh. He got it as soon as they moved the company to the new building, so it's something there, I'm pretty sure. Who knows, I'm not a doctor, I just play one on TV! ![]() VOTING day today! And of course it's pouring rain here. Hilary's people keep calling me - very annoying! The guys might go and vote for McCain, just to show Romney what we all thought of him as governor. I really really hope he loses Massachusetts because that would send him a message! Oh well, hate politics, 'nuf said about that. I don't think anybody new in office is going to be able to untangle this mess any time soon. ![]() Well, enough about that! How about some Jason - here's an oldie but a goodie - scary sexy young Jason ![]() P.S. Dad's cataract operation went fine yesterday, he sounds great. Piece of cake, he says. They do these things every day in Florida and have it down to a science. phew!__________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" Last edited by MyrnaLynne : 02-05-2008 at 09:10 AM. | |||

| !!!VB - I read about the suicide bombing in the paper this morning, and once again I was wondering how close it was to where you live. I'm also praying for your safety (family too, of course). Such a scary time for you and you're so young and I feel so badly for all of Israel. I hope that instead of the paradise those suicide bombers are expecting, they get the worst kind of hell imaginable...grrr..... ![]() I watched the whole Super Bowl and that's so unlike me. But I honestly enjoyed it. I'm not a huge football fan, but I'll watch the Redskins most of the time when they're playing. For me to root for the NY Giants was a bitter pill, but I did it. I loved the outcome. Well fought game, but the Giants defense made it fun to watch. And I agree - when did Tom Petty get so old? Did most of those children waving their arms for him even know who he was?I missed the Puppy Bowl! I forgot it was on!ML - nice pic of Jason in his much younger days! So glad your dad did well in his surgery, I'm sure that's a big relief. I missed House on Sunday, hopefully I'll be able to catch the rerun as it looked like a really good episode. It's really warm here today - supposed to be in the 60's! __________________ "Life is hard; it's even harder if you're stupid"--John Wayne | |||

| Oh No! My neighbors from Hell on my right, just got another dog... a puppy... so that makes them having 5 Dogs Now! ![]() And Lainie's room is on their side of the house, and those dogs disturb her as it is, never mind a New Barker joining them. Well, actually they disturb the whole house, but Lainie gets them the loudest! I love dogs, but not when they are constantly barking as they are just left in their back yard. Grrrrr! ![]() And in turn make my dogs bark back at them, but I make my dogs be quiet, where as they do not. Grrrrr! Then the neighbor that shares the back fence with me, has a yappy little dog that they keep outside all the time too, and that dog constantly barks too! Grrrr! And the neighbors from Hell on my left have just one dog, a little moppy dog named Missy, but her attitude is so terrible that we call her "Pissy". LOL! Of course my Dogs are Well Behaved because I take the time with them and Make Sure that they are. I just wished my neighbors took the time with their dogs too, instead of just throwing them outside and just forgetting about them. ![]() But there's the difference, as my Dogs are inside dogs, where as their dogs are outside dogs and it's a shame really because sometimes the conditions outside are not fit to just leave them outside, but they do anyway. ![]() Oh, and Lainie and I didn't see the whole Puppy Bowl, just a little bit of it. Just enough where it was cute. ![]() I do enjoy seeing the final round of the Dog Shows too. Where they have the Best in Groups and then the final winner. Yes, Election Day today. I voted absentee ballot this year. What a wonderful thing that is! I just may do it Every year! No having to rush to the Polls before work, or having to stop off after work; well, when I was well enough to work, that is. What makes me crazy is all those people in your face shoving leaflets in your face at the polls! I hate that! I'm sorry, but by the time I'm at the Polling place, I've already made up my mind, and they are not going to change my mind at the last minute with their leaflets! Grrrr! Yes, absentee ballot looks better and better all the time! ![]() I've been getting tons of phone calls too about election stuff, and my phone is unlisted! So I guess they just call randomly. What confuses me most are the Propositions. The way they are written, you have to practically be a Lawyer to figure them out! But I usually like to hear what my Party has to say about it, and what the Teacher's and Nurse's assoc. have to say about it too. And from that, I kind of get an idea of what the Proposition is all about. Sorry to hear about Mr. ML Jr.'s rash. Gosh, he's had it for a long time now. Rashes are tough because there are so many causes. Since he's had it for such a long time now, I'm surprised his Dr. hasn't sent him to a Dermatologist?! Has his Dr. given him Prednisone? They sometimes use that for stubborn rashes too. If I were Mr. ML Jr., I'd ask for a referral to a Dermatologist and get that rash finally delt with. And I'm so glad to hear that Dad's surgery went really well! ![]() And yes, HOUSE is on tonight! Am really looking forward to that! And I'm sure he'll be back to his nasty, sarcastic self tonight. LOL! It's really strange... Normally I wouldn't like a person like HOUSE, but I just adore him on TV! Go figure! ![]() Oh, Scottie, They are re-playing Sunday's HOUSE on Friday, Feb. 15th. It really was a good episode! ![]() Hope Everyone has a Great Week! ![]() Hugs, ![]() Wen __________________ JB's Obsessed Fan#64 ( I LOVE JASON BEHR!!!) ![]() "God never gives you more than you can handle. | Mr ML Jr went to the doctor to get a referral to a dermatologist, but he's so wishy-washy, he didn't insist on it or speak up when he got there! I told him he could just call a dermatologist, make an appointment (good luck seeing one in under a year, they are always booked up) and then call the doctor to get the referral (as that's how it works or insurance won't pay). The rash got better from before - he bought some cotton work gloves and started wearing them at work (and tried to avoid touching his eyes), and he put some hydrocortisone cream on it - but now it's back again. It can be so many things, food, soap, external stuff, stress. Hard to pin down. But their old factory was extremely leaky and they moved a lot of stuff that got wet, so I'm thinking it's stuff that got moldy when they moved it, or else something mysterious and icky that was in the building before they moved in there! Who knows what they did in that building before - nuclear waste disposal! Toxic chemicals? WMD manufacture! Who really knows!![]() Oh no, another barking dog in the neighborhood! I think it's terrible, those people who leave their dogs in the yard all the time (or worse, chain them out there). I've seen plenty of horror stories of that on Animal Cops! Special place in hell for some of those folks, I'm sure (with a studded collar around their necks - prongs in!) Isn't there a limit to the number of dogs you can own in your town in one house? I think there is in my town and 5 probably is getting close to that limit. It's so sad because dogs are pack animals and they want to be safe in the cave (house) with the pack (us). I feel bad for the new puppy, and for you and your family for having Neighbors from Hell!I don't even know if we have propositions on our ballot - they didn't send around anything about them. I think it's stupid too - it's not like you go to vote and say "Hmm, let's see who has the biggest sign." Sort of like those people who stand in the subway holding a copy of "Watchtower". It's not like anybody is going to say "Hmm, nice little newsletter, I think I'll change religions now!" ![]() I think I voted absentee ballot during college. I don't know, there's something exciting about standing in line and putting your ballot into the box/machine personally. Heck, the old machines used to have a crank on the side and a bell would ring when your vote went in! Now THAT made you feel like you'd voted! DING! LOL, I remember when I took my son to vote with me when he was small - he was so excited but then he was all disappointed, because he thought I said 'Boat', an not VOTE, and he was expecting a boat trip! He was like "This is the library - Where's the boat?" ![]() __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| Hey all!!! I finally found the time to sit and read everything I've missed! ![]() I'm feeling much much better now.... for some reason that bombing Ingury had me really shocked. I'm not really sure why. I guess I hoped we were finished with those. ![]() Oh Well.... We're getting new couches today! Finally! They might get here while I'm writing so maybe it'll be 2 posts. We were suppoused to get them 2 weeks ago but they had a mix up so we're having them take the old couches out (and we're not going to pay them more for that like they usually want). I have to say that all of you (together and apart) have more wildlife around you then I do. The only animals I have around are birds (and not Robins just plain ones) and bugs. I wish I had more then that but I just don't. ![]() Wen, It doesn't usually snow at all in the winter over here. But if we have a stormy weather which we have once in a few years Jerusalem def gets snow' because it's on a pretty high mountain. So they get snow. And BTW the friend I went to fro Shabath had snow were she lived. They had so much fun and build a snow (the whole family). Yea Israel in basicly a desert but in the winter we usually get water and sometimes snow in the high mountains. I totally get you not always wanting Riccie around. It was the same for me with Yopssi, but I was lucky enough to have friend who respected him and accepted him as he was. I guess us 'older' sisters, just get more responsibility... Well I was right! Here are the movers! I'll have to go on later....![]() __________________ Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum.----- Baz Luhrmann You don't have to be crazy to be my friend....
