| What!! nobody posted yet. Let the JIT fix that Thanks for the new thread.Moonlight was just advertised last night ML. I love that Samuri Sword pic. His head is big and his body small and his hands have that whole - my extremities don't have proper circulation control - thing that my sister's got going on. He's also so excited and pleased with himself. ![]() __________________ | |||

| Thanks for the new thread - I was going to attempt it myself if nobody had made one yet! Oh watch 'Moonlight' Mezzi! I don't think it really gets good until the 3rd or 4th episode but it definitely grows on you! I just watched the final episode of 'Blood Ties' (another vampire show out of Canada) and it was very sad! I hope they have another season!LOL, yes that samurai sword picture of Jason is so cute - he has that inner 'little boy' that you just have to love a whole lot. He is the sweetest guy in the world (odd extremity circulation notwithstanding). Mr ML and MLette have that Raynaud's phenomenon, where their hands go dead white if they get chilled (MLette has it with her feet too). It seems to run in his family as one of his sisters and one brother have it also. Weird stuff, but cold weather isn't for them! Holiday smilie time (not that I have a tree, but you know what I mean...) ![]() ![]() __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" Last edited by MyrnaLynne : 12-08-2007 at 08:26 AM. | |||

| Hello! ![]() Scottie that's terrific, and impressive, that you decided to teach a Pilates class. I'm jealous for your snow. We have had nothing but warm weather. In fact we set a new record high yesterday at 85 degrees F. Fortunately, it's supposed to cool off tomorrow. Thanks for the well wishes on my move. I still watch Heroes, though IMO it has been a little dull this season. ITA about the last eppie of Ugly Betty. I love that show. Grey's was good but just a little too much happening in one eppie IMO. The wine trivet gift idea is so clever and thoughtful. Your friend will love it! I caught Katherine Heigl on Barbara Walters. Saw the Roswell clip of Jason, too. She did OK. She seemed well coached this time which was good. Hey mezz. I love Jane Eyre, too. I've never seen a movie of the book though. Which movie are you referring to? Who stars in it? Just asking because I want to see it, too. ![]() Wen your glowing story had me in stitches. What a visual! You poor thing. Your Christmas plans sound so nice. And you're making me hungry! I don't think I could wait until the evening of Christmas Day to open my presents though. I've told my family I'm not going to be able to do Christmas this year. It makes me sad. No tree, no presents, no cards, no cookies. I just do not have the time for any of it with my move. In fact I will probably be on the road driving to Atlanta on Christmas Day -- just me and my cat. O Well! That's life I guess. podmom I just love all your thread decorations. You find the cutest stuff. VeronicB I hope your celebration gets better. It's always the worst when you wait and wait for something and then it doesn't meet your expectations.Well, girls, my move is going at full speed. So much to do my head is literally spinning. I'm going to Atlanta next week to find a place to live. The movers are coming 6 days later, then I'm out of here. The good news is I think I may of sold my house. I won't know for sure until next week, but I have a contract on it. Keep your fingers crossed for me. If I don't get a chance to come back before the New Year, I wish you all a wonderful and blessed holiday. May it be your happiest ever! __________________ OBSESSED JB FAN #89 "The excitement is in not knowing what is next." ~ Jason Behr | |||

| Hey all!!! I had a wondrful day! It's my birthday (December 9th) and me my mom and my sister just spent the morning having a REALY nice breakfast fallowed by shopping at the mall. Bought a nice shirt which I loved and just had a lovely time with them. We wanted to do the big family thing but because I can't tonight so we'll doing on my 'Jewish Birthday' which will be on Wednesday so I'll get to parties... family parties but it'll still be nice. ![]() I actually had a little meltdown about how the Hanukah was going but everything's much better now.... We're actually having a little fun so it's nice. ![]() ML, your dog is just adorable to wait for his doggie treat after the Hanuka songs and cadles. Yea I saw somewhere that Majandra and Devon got married. It's so wierd to think that most of the Roswell cast is married or getting ready to do it. Time sure flies by. ![]() Loved hearing about your Hanukah celebrations. ![]() Today Mr ML's work party didn't go to well... but I guess you can't really win them all. ![]() Scottie, the snow image you painted sounded amazing! I just love how the snow looks... It doesn't snow here usually (especially not where I live) which I'm totally sad for because I rally think the snow in just so beautiful. ![]() I hope your hubby's sholdar is ok and that he won't have to do those ncisions again.... but if he will I hope they'll work out better! Happy to hear your Pilates class went well! I think it's so good that you're "teaching" people who know what they're doing. You def don't want to make any mistakes so you might as well practice on them. Congrats on getting to teach 2 classes a week! ![]() I actualy like the name Violet. I think that's one of the most un-wired names in Hollywood right now. It's totally odd that they're looking for the wiredest names for they're kids. It's like they want to make their kids special to the worl so they give them those odd names (that in my opinion will only get the other kids to pick on them and not really think 'oooo they're special'). Wired people! I know what you mean about people just lose their ability to drive the moment to starts to rain! It's like that over here too! The moment it starts raining and it can be a 5 minut rain the traffic becomes impossible! ![]() Hope you're having fun with your son this weekend! That party you guys have sounds great... but I just like those warm getherrings at someones home. I just like those much more! I feel more comfartable them.... ![]() mezz, that poor kid! When you have a kid that's the same name as the dog that can be a probelm.... you're your dog's master and that means using a certain kind of a voice but you're your kid's dad/mom and that demands a completly different kind of a voice.... so that can be confusing.... ![]() Wen, you are just so lucky to have a had so many lovely dogs. ![]() Your mom sure has nerve calling you at 5:30 am! I would literarly ignore the ringing. There's no way I'm answerring at phone at that time of the night! Yep still night for me at that hour!![]() Well I'm happy she's feeling better... I just wish she's lay of you so you can relax a little after all that time.... ![]() I think the low key parties are a the best. Just a few people you feel close to and that's that. Those are just the best. ![]() Kins, happy to hear you might have been able to sell your house! That would mean you won't have that on your mind in Atlanta! I hope that move will work out well for you. ![]() I'm planing on doing this special kind of latkes.... I just haven't decided if I'll do it tonight or tomarrow... I'll tell you how it came out later. ![]() all__________________ Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum.----- Baz Luhrmann You don't have to be crazy to be my friend.... | Kinsey I hope your move goes well. My family moved from Maine to Pennsylvania when I was around 12, and we drove there on Christmas day, and the only thing on the radio for the 10-12 hr drive was Christmas music - nonstop. And that was before cassettes, DVDs, iPods - you listened to the car radio or nothing. I thought we'd all go insane! LOL! I'm sure everybody understands you can't sell your house, get a new place, pack and move AND do Christmas! HUGS because moving is very stressy and so is the holiday time. And roasting hot there as well - poor Kins. Maybe we'll all come visit you in Atlanta at your news place - although we still need to have a gathering at FearlessLeader's fabu new condo and give it a proper house-warming! ![]() Yes, I think Violet is a lovely, sweet, old-fashioned name, and she is my favorite celebrity kid. She is just so sweet and adorable and Ben and Jennifer seem like they are happy and being really wonderful parents. Doesn't hurt that she's a carbon copy of her mother at that age. I think Kingston, Gwen Stefani's little boy is also adorable. Happy birthday VB! Sounds like your holidays (and birthday) are improving. LOL, I was telling MLette's boyfriend that we're supposed to eat fried food for Hanukah, and donuts in Israel, and he said he just likes our religion more and more! He likes Hanukah too, for just singing a couple of blessings, lighting a few candles, having a present or too - very streamlined holiday! Plus having it last 8 days instead of 1. Maybe we will convince him to be Jewish too, if he likes it so much. Although I warned him the Shabbat services (most services) go on for hours and hours, it's not all so quick and fun. (I started Mr ML out with Purim - might as well start with the fun holidays!)Places that don't get snow very often, like the D.C. area, it causes people to freak out when they are driving if even the smallest amounts of snow falls. Mr ML was in the Army in Georgia and there was a big snow, and the Army was called out to plow because the towns didn't even have any snow equipment - because it almost never snowed there. It snows here every winter and I am still nervous the first few times I have to drive in it - the roads suddenly have lumps and tricky spots that weren't there before! I really don't like to drive at all. Mr ML dragged me out yesterday (this holiday panic has me nearly paralyzed) and we went to a mall and shopped. Wasn't too awful (although this mall has parking the size of 6 football fields and every space was filled up) and I found some things for some friends. Still have a long way to go, but at least MLette and I finished up our holiday cards. That was a big accomplishment. Although last year I decided I'd print up address labels for this year, and that saved a lot of time (and writers' cramp). Probably easier for the post office to read than my writing too! I was just debating sending a card to a Ros-friend or not - and the phone rang and it was her, calling from Vancouver! What a nice surprise! She must have known I was thinking about her. Well, we need to go get some groceries and then pick up MLette at work (one of her work days is Sunday). We had some snow this weekend but it didn't pile up too much. I was worried we'd get the 4+ inches Scottie had! Jason is so pretty! He has the most attractive nose. (He has the most attractive just about everything). I hope we see him again soon.__________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| Hey all! I just finished my special latkes and they came out great (well I think so since no one else is here to tell me so. ). They're made of bananas and cinemon which I love so I really don't think I could go wrong with those.![]() ML, thanks for the birthday wishes! ![]() Man! Christmas songs for 10-12 hours??? Don't get me wrong I actually do like some of those but I don't think there's a type of song I'd be willing to listen to for that long! Yea Hanukah has def been improving... ![]() That's so cute of MLette's BF to say he likes our religioun. You're def right you should start with the fun stuff. | Yes, the holiday pressure this time of year is incredible. It shouldn't be this way, but that's the way it's turned out. Just feel like you can never do enough, you can never get it right, no matter what you do. Just an overwhelming season of feeling totally inadequate! sigh. I really feel like staying home on Christmas and pulling a blanket over my head and skipping the whole thing. But that would be kind of impolite. And life is short - might as well enjoy spending time with my family while they are around. (My friend's sister died over the weekend, so I am thinking about mortality.) At least now I've got the cards sent. I've got most of the things for my friends bought and mostly wrapped (and still need to be packed and shipped at the post office). sigh. Nothing at all yet for Mr ML's family, or the stupid Yankee Swap - hate it (or my Dad or my brother and Hanukah is over in a couple of days). sigh. ![]() MMm, cinnamon and banana latkes sound tasty (and original!) I've had them with zucchini or sweet potato in them. I really need to make some latkes - Mr ML likes them a lot (since they are made from potato, the Irish national food.) I think on Christmas the radio station just puts on a tape recording of endless Christmas music and the DJs etc go home - that's why they had nonstop around the clock Christmas music! Actually, I like Christmas music - it's pretty unavoidable, having had it drummed into my brain for 50+ years now. Some of it is the most gorgeous music in the world, or the sweetest. I'm really looking forward to the annual holiday singing next week in the main hall of the hospital - only time of year I can blast away at the top of my lungs and not get any funny looks! ![]() Well the talks for the writer's strike broke down yet again. Looks like they won't settle before Christmas after all. You should check out 'Moonlight' Poddy Fri night, although depending on the strike, there may not be any more shows at all, of anything. ![]() Read that LA is losing $80 million a day in their economy with the strike. We watched 'Waitress.' Nice indie type movie with Kerry Russell (she is so pretty) and Nathan Fillion (he's not bad either :>). I found it more sad than comedic (woman is poor, southern, pregnant, trapped in a miserable marriage to an abusive controlling jerk). Sadder still is the woman who wrote, directed, and acted in it got murdered in NYC shortly after making the film. She was very talented. sigh. Gosh, I am just full of sweetness and light today - guess I should do some work. Yet another idiotic and annoying project from Mr Boss (wants me to send out some letters for him, with some documents - which he revised - and expects me to correct before sending - only I don't HAVE those documents. Sure as heck am not going to retype them all... grumble, mutter) ![]() P.S. - Just heard Aaron Behr was on Monk (the Monk Kills Christmas that aired this weekend) - just checked and they are re-airing it Saturday Dec 15 at 7 p.m. on USA - so we haven't actually missed it (yet). It's not Jason on TV but it's his brother - next best thing! LOL! __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" Last edited by MyrnaLynne : 12-10-2007 at 09:22 AM. | |||

| ![]() Thanks to Jenn for the new thread! ![]() And thanks to Mezz for christening it for us! ![]() Kinsey - congratulations on the *hope hope* sale of your house! That's sad that you're going to spend Christmas day on the road, but there's lots more Christmases to come so just consider it just another day and go on from there. I wish you best luck in your new home and job. My sister told me this morning that she's not doing Christmas cards this year. It's not environmentally friendly! LOL! I think I'll adopt that view too. But honestly I think she's just tired of sending them. The postage can be quite eye-opening too! Quote:
I agree wholeheartedly about Jason's "prettiness." He really is! And I agree 100% about his nose, it's beautiful. We have good taste in men, don't we all?! VB - to you a day late! I'm glad you had fun with your family and that Hanukkah improved for you. Good of you to lay down the law to the fam and have a more fun holiday. My son didn't end up coming home this weekend afterall. His plans changed, which is fine with me. I'll see him in a couple of weeks for a month of winter break, and I'd rather have him spend time studying for finals. Right...like that happened! My hubby and I went to a move on Saturday then out to dinner. We saw Beowulf (stunk to high heaven). Then we had burgers and fries at our favorite French restaurant (they do a great burger there!). We shared a bowl of French onion soup too. My hubby ordered it, I said I didn't want an appetizer or soup, but I ended up eating half of his! ![]() Podmom - congrats on getting your outside lights on before the snow fell! I love lights with snow on them too. But I've always wondered how come the snow didn't melt around the lights if they're burning? Hm....just one of the many things Scottie ponders about during her day. I bought a pedometer today, I'm going to try to do 10,000 steps a day beginning in the new year. So I'm preparing! to all!__________________ "Life is hard; it's even harder if you're stupid"--John Wayne | |||

| Hi Everyone! ![]() Thanks Jen for the Brand New Thead! We sure appreciate that! ![]() Kinsey! So glad to see you! Glad you liked my "tail light" story. LOL! Gosh, the things that happen to me... I could write a book! LOL!Sorry to hear that you won't be with your family this Christmas, and will be on the road. But are you doing Christmas early with them instead? I hope so! You could do that,... just take a break one night and get together with your family and have a little Christmas celebration with them then. (It's just a thought) ![]() I wish you all the Best of Luck with the New Job and the Move and in selling your House too! I hope everything falls into place for you, for an easy transition. ![]() Oh, and we don't wait all day to open our presents... we do open our presents on Christmas morning from each other, but we don't open the presents from my bro' and his family until after dinner and vise/versa since my bro' and his family don't come until supper time. ![]() MyrnaLynne, I'm like you and don't do crowds very well. Actually I avoid them like the plague!!! So I know that must have been really hard for you to go out there and brave the mall this weekend. You did great tho'! And I'm glad to hear it! ![]() About your Dad and Bro', don't you usually send them lovely gift baskets? I thought that's what you did last year, or am I mistaken? Anyway, you could still send them lovely gift baskets, and I'm sure they'd be greatly appreciated! I love gift baskets myself! Vero, ![]() I'm so glad you had such a nice Birthday, and I hope your other Birthday is Fabulous too! ![]() Poddy, I'm so glad you got to watch my Bro's Utube video! And I'm glad you liked it! I think they did a Great job too! They have been singing for the Sacramento Kings for a few years now, and other local sporting events too! Plus they do plays in local theaters, and they've sang in "Music Circus" in Sacramento too! Yep, my Bro' is a big ham. And a Fun guy too! LOL! He drives his wife crazy! LOL!So, I take it that you are Viv-less now? You had her for a Really long time this time. Doesn't you sister take her at all anymore?! Hmmm, seems to me that someone is being taken advantaged of. But of course, I'd never name names. ![]() Scottie, I'm sorry to hear that your son didn't make it home after all. But like you said, Winter break will be here soon, so you'll get to enjoy him home them. Sounds like you had a nice weekend with Mr. Scottie. That's really nice. I guess he's feeling better to be going out and all. Still sending him [Healing Vibes] his way for a total recovery. ![]() Well, I went to see my Dr. this morning because I've developed some new symptoms. My swollen legs and feet now have broken blood vessels all over the place! It looks horrible!!! It seems that I'm ordered back to bed rest. Apparently I've been over doing it and not keep my feet up enough. (The truth is, I've been running MOTHER around to finish her Christmas shopping and haven't been really putting my feet up for hours at a time, so they are Extremely swollen,) and because of that, my blood vessels are bursting, and my Dr is afraid of Cellulitis next, so I'm ordered to be completely off my feet. ![]() So this may be the last post for me for a while. ![]() Biggest Hugs to All, ![]() Wen __________________ JB's Obsessed Fan#64 ( I LOVE JASON BEHR!!!) ![]() "God never gives you more than you can handle. | OMG Wen! Now you have broken blood vessels in your poor swollen feet??? Wow, you need to listen to the doctor (is this your nice doctor?) and keep those feet up! Which I'm sure you'll do for a few days and then slip back into "old" habits (like I would) once you're feeling better or Mother clicks her fingers. You're a wonderful daughter, but Mother needs to know that enough is enough. Cellulitis is dangerous! I hope you're sitting someplace comfy with a good novel and Laine's nearby to help you. She's a wonderful daughter too. Mr. Scottie is doing well, still has the sling on, but he's not in too much discomfort at all. We did have fun, thanks for asking about him. Now get back to bed...! ![]() __________________ "Life is hard; it's even harder if you're stupid"--John Wayne | |||

| Oh Wen your poor legs and footsies.....like Scottie said..no more mom work....explain to her that if she wants you to help her at all she'll have to go easy on you so you don't get worse....why she doesn't do that herself is so sad I want to you to ask mom for a lap top for Christmas....you've earned it and I bet she can afford it ....then you will be much happier on bed rest! Your bro is lucky to be enjoying his passion like he is maybe he could go sing mom to sleep my sis is taking Viv home with her after Christmas for a month or so ..so a break is coming..and yes I'm getting a week off but will be heading to OC this weekend to pick her up...while I'm down there going to go out with yet another old HS GF who will be there for Christmas...so interesting that this is happening...timely too.
