| Ahhhhh, ML you were doing so well with the pictures and quotes to go along with them..... Well I did actually read most and skimmed all of the last thread to see what you ladies have been up to and Here goes I thought I would respond to some of the stuff that stood out to me....forgive me if some of it doesn't make sence since they were old conversations... BehrBewitched Glad you found your way to this board and good to hear you had a great time at the film fest. Podmom HELLO!!!! Hope I didn't almost give you a heart attack reappearing like that? Nice to be missed so much ..thanx...WOw you went to Hawaii again! What wonderful pictures of you and hubby! You both look so healthy! Your AVI's are the BEST!! YEAHHHHH!!! on loosing weight Sorry to hear your sister is going through a tough time . And I hope your tailbone is ok.ML Glad a good time was had in Florida. Orchids are my absolute favorite as well. Naked neighbours watching the eclipse!!! HAHAHAHAHA Hubby and I were walking down the street that evening (around 8 pm) when I noticed the moon and commented on it's weird orange glow, not realising there was an eclipse and figured that had to be what it was. Later my thoughts were comfirmed on the news. I tried to take some pics but they didn't work out too well. I never was a fan of Tom Cruise but he is becomming very creepy with all this scientology stuff. I totally dislike him now! YIKES!! on the Absolute Hunk (vodka) picture!!!! ![]() I also cut my hair not long ago. Chopped off about 6 inches. It was almost down to the small of my back a year ago and It has been getting shorter and shorter every few months since. Now its just at my shoulders and I thing I'll start growing it again....I know what was the point of cutting it. Thing was this last cut my hubby never noticed for about an hour! How could you not notice 6 inches???? So sorry to hear about the job layoffs. Hope everything eventually works out for the better. WEN Leaving your mother on your brothers doorstep (the picture is in my head) LOL Your brother sounds like a cheapskate...how sad is that? ![]() LOL at the ads following the conversations...esp the excessive sweating! LOL I used to get sleep paralysis when I was younger. It is a very scarry feeling. Glad your eyes are ok! ANd congrats on your daughters graduation from college! Scottie Dominican Republic! NICE! Great pictures! Mezz I have to admit I love a tatooed guy, not too much though... (hubby has one and wants more which is ok with me!) and the picture of JB tattooed (although fake ) DROOL! VB Happy independence Day!!! Maggie Great news on your paintings! Your not the only one that has been two timing... But at least my hubby approves and agrees with this new one ( a Scotsman...again...)...Gerard Butler(probably best know for the main role in the movies '300' and one more recently the husband in 'P.S. I love you' yum ![]() The picture of Brendons baby is beautiful! All this talk about stripper names is halarious. It was mentioned the cost and shortages of food recently. I have taken to baking my own bread ( the old fashioed way...no bread machines) because I have issues with paying $4 and more for a loaf. I don't mind paying more for wheat I just want my money to go a little further now. Anyways What have I been up to? Well I noticed on the board the other day the last time I had left a message was August of 2006 (slapping myself for being bad and not being around here....) I put work on hold just over a year ago to start physical therapy because of my back injury a few years ago and after a few months had to quit because hubby and I realized I'm better of not working because of the chronic pain. I was so sick from all the pain killers and was a miserable person to live with...depressed and in agony all the time etc. Though things are physically easier to manage now and I'm not having to rely on painkillers to get through the day, I miss work. Although hey!...We're trying for babies now! ![]() So far I have lost 20 of the 45 pounds( through my physical therapy) I gained after the accident.Still a long way to go! We got 2 kittens 8 months ago! We named them IRN and BRU after hubby's favorite Scottish pop. The kittens are a orangy beige colour and the pop is orange in colour! I'll post a picture. Well that's about it for now...Hubby will be home in a fe minuites so I better get going... Later ladies... Oh. almost forgot to mention. It's hubby and my 4 wedding anniversayr comming up in 4 days (the 11 th) and our 5 th of meeting online in a couple of weeks (May 21st). Hard to believe...so much has happened.... Some people say meeting people on line doesn't work....yeah right.... __________________ Take my eyes take my heart I need them no more, if never again they should fall upon the one I so adore. ** When you walk through the storm, hold your head up high, and don't be afraid of the dark. | BA, I didn't realize you and McHusband met online! How cool is that. I know the former head of Fanforum (now over at That Other Place) met his wife that way and it worked out for them (also complete with baby boy). I always think if you know someone online, you get to know the 'inner person' so well. Happy Anniversary! Mr ML and I are coming up on 29 anniversary and been together something like 32 years! It goes by so fast! I hope my son meets somebody there, because heaven knows, he doesn't spend his time anywhere else! Oh well, Maggie assures me that guys like him are just late bloomers and will suddenly surprise us with a woman in his life one of these days. LOL, he was wondering if instead of getting a new job, he should 'write' - but since in the 27 years I've known him, he hasn't written anything, I suggested he get a new job and do writing in his spare time! Hmm, do you think I quashed his budding creative spirit? Orange kitties named for Scottish soda pop sound very cute. I used to really like making bread too (also without a machine), but my Atkins diet years sort of took the joy out of carbs. Also had forgotten about your awful back injury - my (lady) boss had that happen - took a terrible fall, was laid up and off work for 2 months, bones weren't knitting up well, and still has troubles with pain, and the pain meds made her ill. I think she's finding some help with acupuncture now. Wish you well! Pain is, well, a pain! ![]() Mr ML said he won't go see any more Tom Cruise movies because of the scientology weirdness. Although I heard he has a brief cameo in some movie that we were thinking about seeing, and I don't think that counts! LOL! Of course now I can't remember which movie it was. Kids want to take me out to eat (and to see "Iron Man") for Mother's Day - I just have to pick the place. ![]() I think the news about the guys' losing their job soon would freak me out worse if I hadn't been dreading it for months now - it was obviously coming but they refused to see it or worry about it or do anything before it actually happened. I know there is no point to worrying, but there is some point in taking action before something inevitable and bad occurs! ahem! Glad I didn't plan to go to the 'Moonlight' fan convention in LA end of this month. Glad I tucked some $ away and didn't finish renovating my kitchen as much as I'd hoped to also. SIGH! When you are married to a grasshopper, you have to be the ant and put things away for that rainy day! ![]() Rainy Thursday here today. And the Evil Chapter is still lurking on my desk... ![]() Glad I didn't quit yesterday! ![]() __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| MyrnaLynne, Thank you for the Great Start to the Brand New Thread! Very Clever with the intro! ![]() I'm so sorry to hear about Mr. ML & Mr. ML Jr. getting laid off. But yes, you called it!And I think you gave Mr. ML Jr. good advice... Get a job and write in his spare time is very sound advice! And thanks for the up-date on DWTS as I don't watch the show, but like getting the up-dates from you. ![]() And Happy Anniversary on your up coming 29 years! Way to go! I think you and the Mr. make such a Lovely Couple! ![]() Had Satan Jr. and I stayed together, it would have been 32 yrs this Aug. and and 35 yrs together in all. ![]() BehryAnt, Happy Anniversary to you too on your up coming 4! ![]() Wishing you all the Happiness in the World! ![]() And I'm sorry to hear that you are still in pain from your accident, but I'm glad to know that it's a little better than it was. ![]() And thanks for the Congrats on my daughter's Graduation. I'm so very proud of her! ![]() And believe me... You don't even know how many times I've wanted to drop MOTHER off on my Bro's doorstep and tell him: "Now YOU deal with her! I'm Done!" And yes, he really is so Cheap, that I could just choke him sometimes!!! ![]() But he's still my Bro', faults and all. (sigh) And I love my nieces and nephew to pieces, and would never want to be seperated from them. I just don't understand how those two (bro' and SIL) produced such Great Kids?! But they did! It's truly amazing! They are 21, 18, and 16, and has never ever given their parents a bit of trouble and are all straight A students! And your kitties sound adorable! How cute that you named them after soda pop! I'm looking forward to seeing their picture! ![]() Poddy, Scottie, Vero, Mezzi, Maggie, BB, FL, and All the JOF's and JIT's... ![]() Hugs to All, ![]() Wen __________________ JB's Obsessed Fan#64 ( I LOVE JASON BEHR!!!) ![]() "God never gives you more than you can handle. | ML - wow, what a fabulous thread start! I think it's very clever and a wonderful choice of pictures of our MAN! I'm so very sorry about Mr. ML and Mr. ML jr. losing their jobs! But you're right, and like Wen said, you called it. Doesn't make it any easier, but at least you're not totally surprised by the event. I hope that severance pay will hold you all until the boys find jobs. Lucky you and MLette, supporting the guys!I want to see Iron Man too! It's gotten great reviews and I'd like to see it, whereas I've never rushed to see any of the other superhero films with the exception of Chris Reeve's first Superman film. Now I loved that one! Miserable singer but cute blue eyed boy with dreads got booted from American Idol last night. Thank G-D! ![]() BA - congrats on your upcoming anniversary! My nephew met his wonderful wife on the internet too. They've been married, oh, six years or more now. They're adorable together. We also have friends (middle-aged!) who met on the internet. It does work! Some people just don't have the opportunity to go out and meet people, but they can take time on the internet (and wear their pajamas!) and get the preliminaries out of the way at least! Wen - glad your Bro and SIL produced such great kids. At least hey have that going for them. And thanks for the lo-down on pugs! They are adorable, and I'd forgotten about the MIB pug, maybe that did fuel their popularity and change some of their characteristics. I just think Mollie sounds adorable, loved the story of her running her suitor around the yard until he yelled "Uncle!!!" (For VB - if you don't get that - it means 'I give up"!) My sister said that the lady who owned the attack pug didn't seem in the least bit concerned that her dog was chomping all over my sister's elderly dog, so I think you're right that the dog just wasn't raised properly and was probably really grumpy that day. My sis said that her dog wouldn't walk by that house for a long time! VB - yeah, hot dogs do have scary ingredients in them some times, that's why the Hebrew National ones are so good, they're inspected and controlled and the ingredients are better than most other hot dogs. Glad you had a nice ID celebration. It's raining here today too, just a yucky day! __________________ "Life is hard; it's even harder if you're stupid"--John Wayne | |||

| BehrBewitched Added you to the list of JOFs up above! Welcome welcome again! I'm not in charge or anything, I just started the thread to keep things rolling. I am not Queen! LOL! Wen obviously your niece and nephew take after YOU and that's why they turned out so nice. (I think my niece is a lot like me, which is kind of cool.) The few times I caught the end of American Idol, when the people sing at the end, I didn't think any of them could sing very well! I don't know how they got that far, when they weren't very good singers. Strange competition! More 'Moonlight' tomorrow, I can't wait. I think there are WW2 flashbacks. LOL, Alex O'L said if the show isn't renewed 'there will be blood' (from all the fans). He can't understand why CBS is dragging its feet to renew either. sigh. We should hear next week sometime -ulp. I wish I could get Mr ML Jr to join one of those internet matchmaker things! I am just Mrs Noah - I want everybody two-by-two. I was amazed there was a commercial on TV last night for a dating service and it was two guys! I guess they were advertising being gay-friendly. Gosh there's a Mother's Day commercial that makes me cry every time I see it - with the new dad calling his mother onthe phone and the mother looking at the new baby and whispering "It's mama!" - gets me every time! ![]() MLette was laughing at me for getting choked up over a commercial. Thanks for the nice comments on my thread-starting! Felt like 'the good old days'! Gosh I watched one of those cake competitions on Food Network, and this nice grandmotherly cake lady from Minnesota won (I was excited it was held at the Mall of America in Minnesota and they showed the Minneapolis skyline - I'm such a JB fan). Anyway, they showed her celebrating with her hubby and her daughter and grandkids and then at the end of the show there was an 'in memoriam' thing and it said she'd died in 2006! I felt so awful! LOL! You don't expect DEATH on the Food Network. LOL! I felt so bad. Eating too many hot dogs is supposed to kill you - I read that somewhere. Which is too bad, because of course Mr ML Jr likes them (he eats all types of not-really-foods like American cheese). Every once in awhile they're good, though. I especially like to have one, burnt nearly black over a grill, sometime during the summer. And since Mr ML is a non-griller, I usually get it out at his brother's cottage over 4th of July. Oh gosh, I got my Jury Duty moved to the next town, that's easy to get to, but they changed it from July 16 to July 17! And July 19 is Jumpcon when I see Kyle S and Dylan N again! I'm going to be a nervous wreck that I get picked for a trial - what if they sequester me over the weekend and I can't go to this con I pre-paid for! Maybe I'll have to feign insanity or something? Or maybe I can tell the judge I have a date for lunch with a very beautiful young guy.... ![]() __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| Morning everyone! TGIF!!!We had terrible weather last night, tornadoes south of us (none near me though thank G-D!) in Virginia, but we had loud thunderstorms. Lots of rain today and some expected for the Kenny Chesney concert. I forgot to say that in addition to Kenny Chesney, Leanne Rymes, Brooks and Dunn, Big and Rich and someone else (?) will be there at the Baltimore stadium. So it's looking like a pretty good time if the rain stays away. Keep your fingers crossed! ML - I think that Idol phenomenon is caused by love-struck young girls voting over and over again for the cuties of the group like Jason Castro. It is an odd competition when America gets to vote and the better singers are dissed for the cuties. ![]() Good that you got your jury duty location changed, hopefully you won't get picked for a trial and you can still have your date with the very beautiful young guy! ![]() My friend joined one of those dating services and she's having a ball! She's recently divorced (after almost 30 years of marriage!) and in one week she had four dates! It could work for Mr. ML Jr., there's gotta be a girl out there meant just for him, he just has to find her. Mrs. Noah - I like that! You'll let us know as soon as you know ANYTHING about Moonlight being picked up, won't you? CBS would be insane not to pick it up. Last week Ghost Whisperer and Moonlight won their time slots (according to my newspaper), so it seems like those two shows make a good combo on Friday nights. There's nothing else to watch on Friday nights, it makes sense to keep those shows together and build an audience. They need to promote the show more, don't you think? Hey Di m! I hope you find Cari too! ![]() to all! Happy Mother's Day on Sunday to all the moms out there! Especially to ML who lost her mom recently but now gets to have her very own Mother's Day all to herself!![]() __________________ "Life is hard; it's even harder if you're stupid"--John Wayne | |||

| ![]() Thanks, Scottie! Oy, my boss just rushed home today because her mother is dying! Could there be a worse weekend to have your Mom die than on Mother's Day?! I hope she pulls through but she must be elderly, because Mrs Boss is 10 years older than me. Wow - always something! But she's in good hands - her daughter and son-in-law are very good doctors, so I hope she pulls through. Poor Mrs Boss, she's had a world of troubles lately. ![]() Oh what a lineup for Baltimore! Big and Rich are so funny, all those people are very good. I like country music - you can generally make out the words and the songs are very good! The blond gal from Dancing with the Stars, Julianne Hough is cutting a country album - typical, she's a dancer so she really wishes she was a singer! LOL! I hope the storms hold off and big PHEW the tornadoes stayed away. Scary weather! Those poor people in Burma, er, Myanamar, with the cyclone and the junta government who didn't warn them about the storm or help them recover. They are forever changing the names of these countries! Rangoon is now Yangon - who knew? It's hard to keep up! ![]() Yes, the voting by fans skews the results in Dancing too - they don't vote for the best dancing couple or most improved, it's just the one who has the most fans or people like the most. Kristi Yamaguchi is obviously far and away the best, but just haven't warmed up to her or her partner that much. ![]() I saw that dreadful looking boy with the dirty-looking dredlocks, that he got eliminated from Idol! That hairstyle is so, well, ratty looking! I can't figure it out - Moonlight is winning the time slot, attracting the demographic they want - so they are only getting 7 or 8 million viewers but - that's 8 MILLION! That's a lot of people. And who knows how many there really are, because those ratings don't really count all the viewers at all. Tonight's show looks so fabulous - I saw two 'teaser' clips from it. Lovely love story! I didn't realize they'd wrapped for the season and are home catching up on their sleep now! I hope they will have jobs to come back to after the hiatus (which always sounds like a type of hernia to me - why don't they call it summer break?) TV-making is so odd. LOL that the pug didn't want to mate! A woman knows her mind! That backyard breeding can be problematic anyway, especially with a big-headed dog like pugs - probably would need a C-section and dogs don't have health insurance! Oh I'm so glad it's Friday. Chillier and rainy here. And so far, the evil chapter hasn't come back for another round of work on it so - woo hoo! I tore the house apart looking for Mr ML's resume last night but I found it on a disk at work - I KNEW I held on to stuff like that. He's worked at that job 15 years! There's a good chance another place might hire him (people there used to work where he does and know how good he is) - keeping fingers crossed!! I'm more worried about my son - he's not exactly a dynamic take charge kind of guy and I'm sure makes a terrible impression in interviews. | Hi Everyone! ![]() MyrnaLynne, Awww, thanks for saying that my nieces and nephew are like me. But they are unique in their own way, and all terrific kids! I just love them to pieces! We get along so well, and they love me to pieces too, that I actually think that my Bro' and SIL are jealous of my relationship with them because they love me so much. And at Christmas time or Birthday time for them, my Bro' always gives me the third degree on what I'm getting them because he has NO imagination, and I always top them in the gift department! And he HATES that! But what he hate even more is that I won't tell him what I'm getting them! LOL! Well, I know what his kids are into and what they like, and I buy what they are interested in, whereas my Bro' gets them stuff that HE thinks they should have instead of what they really want. So it's not my fault that they LOVE my gifts best! Plus I make my gifts interesting like one year I got each of them this huge box, wrapped sooo pretty, and inside I had 25 little wrapped gifts all in the theme of what they liked! They nearly lost their minds when they saw all those gifts inside that beautifully wrapped box! And you should have seen my Bro's & SIL's faces, sooo mad that they could have breathed fire! Well, it's too damn bad. And I was the 1st one to get their kids their 1st MP3 players (for Christmas as well,) and again Bro' & SIL were ready to kill me while their kids were screaming with excitement! So, it's not my fault they are lousy gift givers. ![]() And we email each other often, so I keep up to date with their lives, which is cool and I just LOVE that! Like I said, they are Great Kids! ![]() And about your Jury Duty... If you are worried that they might choose you for a case, just act like you hate everyone and act prejudice and surely they wouldn't pick you then! LOL! And that was so sad about that Lady that had died on the Food Network. I think I would have gotten weepy about it too! And I get weepy too with some commercials... like some of the Kleenex commercials used to make me weepy when they 1st came out with the slogan "Kleenex says Bless You". They had some really heart-wrenching ones! And my family used to laugh at me too, and be mean and hand me a box of tissues when the commercial would start! LOL! Now how mean was that?! LOL! Just because I'd get a little weepy. HUMPH! LOL!And Since MOTHER had her Gallbladder removed, she just can not eat hot dogs anymore or she gets majorly ill! It's really too bad too, because she loves hot dogs. ![]() How sad about your Boss's mother! I hope she pulls thru' also. ![]() Scottie, How scary about your weather with the tornadoes threatening to the South of you! I just pray they stay away from you!And it's still raining?! Gosh, you, and ML have really had a very wet week! I even feel bad to say that our weather has been gorgeous... sunny in the 70's and low 80's. And with nice weather, comes the water rationings... which haven't started yet, but they will be. They limit us when we can water our lawns during the rationing, and we aren't allowed to wash our cars at home either... but we can go to car washes tho'. And all this, so we can send OUR water to So. CA. And even if we've had a very wet Winter, they Always say we are in drought conditions, and raise our water rates. They play this game every year! Grrrr! ![]() Have fun at your Concert! Sounds like a lot of fun! Hope the weather behaves! (finger's crossed!)And thanks for the Happy Mother's Day wish! ![]() I hope you have a Wonderful Mother's Day as well! ![]() Vero, You cracked me up when you said that Mollie's potential mate might just have been gay! I never thought of that! Could be?! ![]() It was just so funny to see Mollie running her little legs off after him, and he was running his little legs off to keep away from her! ![]() I'm glad to hear that your Mom is getting a little better every day. I just hope she doesn't over do it! Because she sounds like a very strong and independent woman that just might over do it without realizing it. Poddy, Have a Wonderful Mother's Day at your Liz's. ![]() And Happy Mother's Day to All who are celebrating! ![]() Biggest Hugs, ![]() Wen __________________ JB's Obsessed Fan#64 ( I LOVE JASON BEHR!!!) ![]() "God never gives you more than you can handle. | to Podmom for the twisted ankle! Oy, these things happen when you least expect them. Well, they can wait on your hand and foot (while you prop up your foot) and they can treat you like a Queen for Mother's Day!![]() I had a great Mother's Day weekend (2-day event!). Yesterday we went out to lunch at a ginormous steak house (the one with the giant neon cactus and the herd of plastic cows out front). We brought MLette's BF along too (a hearty eater). It definitely wasn't fine dining - the service was positive sloppy (as in slopping his rice into her salad, and my potatoes all over the side of my plate etc) and their 'house' dressing was this toxic dayglow yellow stuff - But I had a good steak and we had a good time, that's all that matters!Last night I watched "August Rush" to see my Moonlight guy, although he has a small part. Did a very creditable Irish accent as Jon Rhys Myers big brother (well, bigger brother) although the part wasn't that big - when the band was playing, they hardly showed him at all! (And his big scene was in the deleted scenes - ahem). It was kind of a strange movie - very dreamy and 'magical' and long looong giant closeups of her face.. and his face.. and them playing music. A lot of big faces and playing music. LOL, Mr ML was funny, he said (of J Rhys Myers): "Is that guy supposed to be good looking?" I said, yes, he was considered good looking by many. (Not his type I guess! LOL!) He does have that enormous lip. Anyway, it was long and draggy and.. well, 'nice movie' but not good movie, I don't think. And the mystical musical bond between children and parents - sorry, nice, but fantasy land. Oh, Bill Sadler played her father - always good to see the Sheriff, and he always turns in a good performance (mean mean selfish father - told her the baby died and gave it up for adoption! Bad Bad father!) Robin Williams was good too as the Fagin-type character. I think Freddy Highmore probably should have been nominated for his performance for that, but instead they nominated one of the weird songs (which didn't win). Today we went to see 'Iron Man'! Robert Downey Jr is so good, and I thought Gwyneth Paltrow was good too. Another story that took a long long time to get going, laying out who the guy is, and what led him to be Iron Man -and oy with the middle eastern war stuff! - but I thought it was a very cool movie. We saw coming attractions for a whole lot of movies that look totally awful, although I was wooing at the Indiana Jones preview! May 22 - I blush to admit I have it marked on my calendar already! LOL! And my gosh, there's a scene where Shiaf LaBouf comes on a motorcycle, and they've made him look exactly like Marlon Brando (in that famous picture of him on the motorcycle). Very cool. Crystalline thanks for the Mom Day wishes! Oh, and Mr ML Jr got me an ORCHID plant! Very cool with spotted leaves and a tall purple flower stalk and sort of purple and green striped and spotted and hairy flower (lady slipper orchid) - in fact, it's a whole lot like the orchid plant I had that I killed (ahem). Hope I do better with this one! Plus a really nice card - and a box of Junior mints! LOL! There has to be chocolate there sometime (I took them to the movie and ate them). Mr ML doesn't think he should do anything for me for Mother's Day (I'm not his mother). We bought a pot of tulips and brought them over to the cemetery for his mother. sigh. She was a nice woman (she's been gone 22 years!) I never knew his dad; he was older than his mother and passed a few years before I met Mr ML. But I know he was a cool guy, from all the stories and pictures and from knowing his sons! ![]() Oh, and the weather was GORGEOUS today. I bought another 2 boxes of flowers and finished planting the garden bed along the fence in front of the house - but the grapevine grows on that fence and it gets so big, you can't even see the flowers by the end of the summer. Wen that's nice that you're so good at gifting - some people have the talent and others don't. Not sure about trying to one-up your brother with his children though. But they're lucky to have such a loving Aunt and that your are close. Also meant to say it's really nice that you at least get along on the phone with your mother as far as chatting the night away! At least you get along by phone. I baked cookies for my kids today - have to do some 'good Mother stuff' for Mother's Day, since they were so nice to me this weekend! ![]() Oh, but my poor boss - I hope she doesn't lose her Mother over Mother's day. sigh. Guess I'll find out tomorrow. ![]() __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| ML I wish your bosses mom well too this mothers day well I just did the dishes from a very nice dinner Liz cooked us......she and her hubby went to pick up a table she's buying from craigs list....she is way into that....today while I was icing/propping the ankle and she went back to Ikea(where we spent over 5 hrs yesterday getting stuff for her Appt cause mom has a van ) a lovely couple came to buy her latest brides maid dress...they were so cute...he was a Marine(big and handsome and nice...and she was slight like Liz,and nice too..............anyhow.......the great thing was that they had had a few sprained ankles themselves....she was a dancer....so they told me things to make me feel better about not going to the emergency room(which at that point had been under debate but I said no to Liz and Podad(on the phone)...because who wants to spend Mothers Day in a DC ER no way...but I was at that time wondering if anything was broken but I'm feeling ok about that call...........bro-inlaw the orthopod finally picked up and he helped me examine it myself(herer's the trick.....if the ankle bone.....you know the little one that sticks out all ankle like....if you press that on the back side of it and it doesn't hurt(it hurts at the front from the tendons......if the back doesn't hurt ...probably no broken bone..........so glad it is just a sprain...yay...........I had Liz get me the ankle ace bandage thing and that does help while hobbling around so it's all good....well better than I was afraid of. ok kids came home....Liz putting her first Ikea chair together which I will try to finish the rest tomorrow...think I'll watch night __________________ ![]() Last edited by podmom : 05-11-2008 at 08:15 PM. | |||

| Hey all!! You guys are not going to believe this! My computer died on Friday morning! Well it didn't really die but it sure felt like it.... my dad was so angry about it (as if I actually wanted it to happen). We were actually thinking of buying a new coputer but then one of our neighbors (to whom I'll be forever greatful - my dad wouldn't have last much longer) succeeded jump starting it! He said that we'd still have to buy a new computer soon but this one will work fine for a while longer (which for all I know could be a day and it could also be a month)... Haaa! The amazing life with computers.... ![]() Anyway considering I'm supposed to be sending resumes to like everywhere about now (well yesterday) I'm totally greatful for a delay on our computer's demise. So now I have some reading to do. ![]() __________________ Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum.----- Baz Luhrmann You don't have to be crazy to be my friend....
