| Hi Everyone! ![]() Welcome BehrBewitched! I'm sure you'll have a Wonderful time with the Behrians! Jason has such Great Fans and hopefully you'll make a lot of new friends! I know I have made wonderful friendships by being associated with Jason's fans... If you ask me, Jason has the BEST FANS in the WORLD! ![]() Lucky you that you get to go to the Film Festival to see Jason's New Movie! Wish I could go to, but alas, I can't. You can be our ears and eyes! Take lots of pictures and maybe you could share them with us?! That would be sooo Great if you could!I hope Jason's New Movie gets a distributor, because I can't wait to see it! It's a movie that I've been longing for him to make! ![]() Have lots of fun, as I know you will! ![]() MyrnaLynne, how are you feeling? Better I hope! ![]() Sorry to hear that you are so swamped at work. Hopefully you'll find your pace and the pile will dwindle fast so it won't be so over-whelming. ![]() I wish my work provided "light duty", but they don't. You have to be 100% or nothing at all. And having to lay low here around the house, I'm going StIr CrAzY! ![]() I know some peeps probably don't understand why I'm complaining about having to hang around the house and take it easy, but believe me, it's getting to me, and it's maddening! Like take today... I'm having Easter Dinner here at my house this year for my whole family, and normally I'd be busy cleaning Everything, but I can't because my legs swell at the drop of a hat! To the point where I can't even bend my knees, and in order to clean, I need to be able to bend my knees and walk! UGH! So frustrating!!! And this week, my Lainie is doing her mid-terms, (testing), right now, so she's spending every waking minute studying, and NOT cleaning. She's not even helping MOTHER this week, which has MOTHER really angry at her, but Lainie told her right from the start that School came 1st! And again, I'm in the middle because they BOTH are complaining about each other to ME! ARGH!!!!! And of course I tell them not to tell me their problems, and to take it up with each other, but as it stands, they are practically not speaking to one another. (sigh) Ok, enough about that. Did everyone have Corned Beef and Cabbage on St. Patty's Day? No one said. ![]() I made it, and it was so wonderful! My family and I really enjoyed it! I don't know why I don't make that more often? I really should, since we all like it so much. ![]() Speaking of St. Patty's Day.... You know how Everyone wears Green, well my daughter the Rebel, decided to wear Orange! She wore her bright Orange t-shirt! She just wanted to see if anyone would say anything to her about it, and she did get one response. It was one guy at college who was dressed in Green from head to toe... even had on Green Lipstick! ![]() Anyway, he mentioned to her... "Hey! You must be Protestant?! I guess we are suppose to be enemies, right?! Well, I'm not like that... You're Irish and that's all that counts!" and he went off in the other direction, and Lainie just laughed and went off to her class as well. I don't know what she set out to prove, Maybe to see if anyone knew the difference? But I think she was happy with at least one respondant. ![]() My No.1 son used to wear a Black arm band on St. Patty's Day all thru' High School! He was serious about all the upheavals in Ireland. And no matter how much I would tell him to lighten up, that St. Patty's Day was suppose to be a Day of fun, he wouldn't hear of it! I don't think he still wears the Black arm band today, but then again, he just might,... I don't know? ![]() Scottie, Poddy, Vero, Maggie, Mezzi, and to All the JOF's and the JIT's! ![]() Hugs to All, ![]() Wen __________________ JB's Obsessed Fan#64 ( I LOVE JASON BEHR!!!) ![]() "God never gives you more than you can handle. | Well, as far as I know Wen Ireland is fairly peaceful these days, so your son doesn't have to wear a black armband. What a brat to wear orange and try to provoke somebody on St Patrick's Day! Good thing she wasn't in South Boston! I totally forgot to wear anything green, or my 'honorary Irishman' button (I really want one that says "Irish by marriage" :>). My husband is only half Irish on his dad's side (mom was English and Scottish) but as I've said, if there's any Irish at all, it tends to take over! I did bake cookies and frost them with green frosting and they were sooo yummy. I used to bake Mr ML irish sodabread but I didn't do that either this year. Such a slacker!Yep, I had corned beef and cabbage for lunch in the cafeteria at work - it was grey, it was tough, it was SALTY, but all in all, pretty good. LOL! The cabbage was delicious (I like to sprinkle sugar on it, or, these days, Splenda - no idea why but always have.) Also was wondering why I never cook cabbage because it's very good! Stinks up the house, though. Mr ML and I talked about maybe doing a boiled dinner but we decided it was way too much bother, and the kids don't eat it. Sounds like a very tense time, with Lanie and Mother sniping at one another and Lanie trying to study for exams. I hope she aces them! And you stuck in the middle and having a lot of work to get ready for Easter. It's too bad you can't work part-time at something sitting down. Your poor legs! Hoping for an Easter miracle and your legs to get better! Scottie we had an April Fool's day blizzard one year, so I don't think we're safe from snow until into early April. But the snow this morning turned to rain and washed away again. It isn't going to stay long this time of year, but it's grey and rainy out. blah. The New England Flower Show was just this past week, but I couldn't go because of my trip and then the party last weekend - it's so amazing to walk through this enormous expo hall filled with magical gardens! Just the 'springtime flower fix' you need in March, when spring is coming, but isn't here yet, and things are still pretty dead-looking and gloomy. Made excellent progress on the piles of work - eliminated one whole pile, got started on the second, but that third pile is a doozie - I have 14 accepted papers to edit! That must be some sort of a record! That's like an entire issue right there! ![]() So psyched some people made some video clips of the Blood Ties boys' panel at MegaCon and put them up at YouTube. YouTube is the greatest thing for fandom since the internet, I swear. So not only can I remember them fondly, I can go see and hear them again at YouTube anytime I want! ![]() I tried to find a picture of a cattleya orchid like mine online to post for you but I couldn't find one that was exactly the same (so will have to wait for the pictures!). I don't know what it is about orchids - I guess they are just so spectacular and also so finicky - these only bloom once a year (if and when you are very lucky) but then the flowers are huge and showy and stick around for a month or more! And the plants are so creepy and exotic looking too, with thick leaves and all these scary roots that climb out of the pot! Maybe it has something to do with loving aliens?![]() Oops, oh cr*p, I forgot to go home! ![]() __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| LOL - you forgot to go home, ML! Too funny! The flower show sounds wonderful and I agree that when it's cold and grey outside, it's so nice to go see the flowers. Right now, in DC, we're experiencing the first flush of spring, the flowers are definitely showing up and the flowering trees (early ones anyway) are coming out. Now if it would only warm up! It's terribly windy here today, we're expecting huge wind gusts this afternoon. And it's the first day of spring! Yes, we had corned beef and cabbage for St. Patty's day. It was delicious! I always wonder why we don't cook it more often either. Maybe b/c it's just the two of us and we have to freeze the leftovers and they end up getting lost in the freezer! We had boiled potatoes and cabbage with it. My mom used to put vinegar on her cabbage. We had these really fancy oil and vinegar cruets when I was growing up. My hubby's mother was Irish, she had the best Irish name: Mabel Agnes McClafferty. Isn't that a hoot!? My family's more like ML's hubby, but not a drop of Irish (that I know of). We're Scottish, English, German. Probably a little backwoods Virginian thrown in there for flavoring! Wen - that's too bad Mother and Lainie are guarreling. Mother needs to head to your bro's house for a few weeks! I hope that works out. It used to be a big offense to wear orange on St. Patty's day. Laine's lucky nothing happened to her, like getting pinched! ![]() I have tomorrow off for observance of Good Friday, so I'm thinking of working in my back yard. I have to do the annual spring raking and pick up the millions of sticks in the back yard. My cousin's little boy is coming for Easter (he's 7 years old) and we'll have a little egg hunt for him. Can't have him tripping over sticks and avoiding Hazel's "deposits" left in the yard! I hope it's warm enough to do an egg hunt without wearing coats, but I doubt it. to all!__________________ "Life is hard; it's even harder if you're stupid"--John Wayne | |||

| ![]() Terrible mental image of 7 year old thinking Hazel deposits are Easter treats! Sorry!! Day off sounds nice, but yard work sounds like, well, work! But how fun to host an Easter egg hunt!So excited, was looking at other fan pix from Megacon and somebody snapped a photo while I was talking to Kyle S and he was signing the photo and looking up at me, ultra-cute-ly. SIGH! I was so excited to recognize my arm/elbow and realize that was me - LOL! Doesn't take a lot to make me happy. ![]() I signed up for the $ professional pic with the guys (which came out really really nice) because I didn't have any friends there to snap me talking with them. They are supposed to send me a jpg of the nice photot (I paid extra $ for that ) but so far, they are very confused and it hasn't come. Oh well, I can always get it scanned at Kinko's or someplace but... impatient!! (tapping little foot)![]() Hope everybody has a good Good Friday tomorrow! It's also Purim this weekend, very fun holiday (but prune-filled pastries cannot compare to chocolate bunnies!) ![]() The cold is receding slowly. My coughing in the night scared Mr ML the other night and I told him it was better than before! Whole lot of junk settled in my chest. Oh well, you know what they say: Treat a cold and it'll last 2 weeks, leave it alone and it'll last a fortnight" (2 weeks) I just hope it doesn't segue right into spring allergy season.. | Hi Everyone! ![]() Congrats MyrnaLynne on your Orchid blooming! I just LOVE Orchids! That's my favorite flower! Actually at my wedding, I carried a Beautiful Lavendar Orchid on a little prayer book that was covered in satin, and that's what I had instead of a bouquet.I'm looking forward to your picture of your Orchid! ![]() Orchids are so hard to grow! You must have a really good Green Thumb! I don't have such a great green thumb. I used to practically kill myself caring for tons of house hold plants, but it was such a chore that I just gave them up. But my Grandmother "Vo" MOTHER's Mother, could grow Anything without any trouble at all. She definitely had a green thumb! And she had all kinds of herbs and vegetables in her little garden outside that she'd tend to every day too. She was amazing as she could do ANYTHING! She could sew, cover furniture, heck, she even made some of her own furniture! She was the total opposit of MOTHER! MOTHER acts helpless and won't do ANYTHING for herself unless it's her last option, or she just won't do it at all! How two people could be so different, like night and day, that were Mother and Daughter, floors me! But then again, hopefully, MOTHER and I are not quite alike either, so there you go. ![]() Anyway, I do plant annual flowers in the yard tho'. Not too overwhelming with that. And I do have my perenials that I don't have to fuss with too much, so that's good. I'm just not good with house plants. ![]() And that's Great that you got your picture with the Blood Ties Boys! ![]() And isn't that funny how you recognized yourself in that photo of you getting an autograph! That's really something! LOL! Scottie, Oh, I'm so glad you got to have Corned Beef and Cabbage too! ![]() Yes, it takes a silly holiday to have us make it, when we like it so much and we could be making it all the time! LOL! I usually make it with whole potatoes and fresh baby carrots too! It's so good! And since you have Good Friday off, I don't know if you'll see this, (don't know if you lurk from home) but I wanted to wish you and your family a Very Happy Easter! ![]() Poddy, You should be home by now. I was surprized that you dropped off Big Viv before Easter! Will she be spending Easter with your Bro' and his family then? Are your girls coming home for Easter this year? I hope they are. Is Emily still dating that same guy you mentioned from last year? Just wondering cause you haven't mentioned him in a while. Tomorrow is Lainie's last day of Mid-Terms, and then she gets Spring Break which she can't wait! She's wiped out with this testing and studying, but she did find out what she got on one of her Lab Practicoms... an A! She was soooo thrilled! She felt that she did well on it but never expected an A! Now if she did that well on the rest of her classes, she'd be estatic! ![]() Gosh, I started this last night, (in the wee hrs.) and dozed off for a couple of hours, so I guess I'll post it now. ![]() Happy Easter Everyone... Happy Purim too! Hugs, ![]() Wen __________________ JB's Obsessed Fan#64 ( I LOVE JASON BEHR!!!) ![]() "God never gives you more than you can handle. | They had a Purim service at the chapel at work today and it was really fun. Some people had silly hats and fairy wands and the earnest young rabbi had Red Sox pajama pants and a baseball cap on and read 'the whole Magillah' and there were hamentaschen pastries afterwards. One woman had a hat that was a chicken! It sat on her head and the legs dangled down on either side, next to her ears. One of the funniest things I've seen in a long time! ![]() What a beautiful thing, to carry an orchid at your wedding Wen. I think I had a little prayer book too. I used to be good with plants but I've pretty much lost my green thumb. I've killed all the orchid plants I had except this one (which I stupidly divided into two pots after I got it, not knowing they like to be potbound, so then of course that kept it from blooming for years right there!) I keep threatening to chuck them all out and be done with them. But of course they are living things, so I really can't do it! Of course some of these plants have been straggling on for years and years in the same tired old dirt. Our house is on the dark side of the street and if you don't have good light, you can't grow great plants. Maybe your mother was afraid to do anything because her mother was SO good at doing everything! My friend was sort of like that - her mother sewed professionally and could do every sort of art and craft and creative thing she turned her hand to, so my friend always felt like her efforts would be second best. I guess I was sort of like that with knitting because my mother was an amazing knitter - she could turn out those Irish fisherman type sweaters - but I still knitted too, didn't let her intimidate me from doing it (but my carpal tunnel/ thumb arthritis whatever put a stop to knitting eventually anyway). sigh. That also explains why my kids don't play chess and their dad was nearly a master - he'd try to teach them to play by beating them at every game! I told him that's not how you make them enjoy the game but his darn competitive Capricorn goat nature just always makes him want to win everthing!I just heard the young Blood Ties boy might be doing another convention this summer in Boston! I could have saved myself a trip! Oh well, who knows if he'll actually come, those jobs are always contingent upon if they get an acting job or not that conflicts. He must have liked us! Liked the easy money and ego-boost probably just as well. He's quite a gregarious and sexy guy. Reminds me of one of those mythical creatures - you know, the ones in the woods with the goat legs? ![]() ![]() Here he is signing my picture and looking so cute ![]() * * * ![]() My sense of smell is coming back and I found out the orchid smells lovely too - sort of like a carnation smell, which I really like! ![]() Hope everybody has a wonderful Easter tomorrow (I assume you are all in your kitchens, madly cooking away tonight!) * * * Okay, I have an "Easter miracle" story for today: I have a board with 5 wooden pegs in the entry to hang coats on. Noticed one day, one of the pegs had disappeared (they are just set in the holes in the wood and sometimes they work loose and need to be re-glued). Anyway, crawled around the front entryway - no sign of it. Wondered and looked around and was annoyed it was gone for weeks and weeks. Figured maybe it had fallen into the hood of my coat or a cuff or something and then fallen out somewhere on my travels - gone for good. ![]() Was walking the dog this morning, stopped to talk to a dog friend, looked down - and there in the dirt in the park was my missing peg! Kicked it loose from the dirt - brushed it off - still good as new!! Told the dog friend what it was and he said "Why... that's a miracle!" Washed it off, glued it back, hung my coat on it!And that's my 'Easter miracle story' for today! ![]() Also signed up to go to that convention and have lunch with the Blood Ties boy this summer in Boston! Which is also kind of miraculous, I think, as I just missed eating dinner with them in Orlando at that restaurant - and now I can! How cool is that? __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" Last edited by MyrnaLynne : 05-04-2008 at 11:16 AM. | |||

| Hello to all the JOFs & JITs! ![]() Happy Easter to those who celebrate! ![]() I apologize for going awol. Just have been in a weird mood lately. Sigh. And okay.... will admit it.... my attention has been stolen by Jon Bon Jovi lately. But hey... at least I am oogling a guy somewhat near my own age. Also love the music! ![]() Podmom: I am very touched the you missed me sweetie. Thank you. And sorry for being missing for so long. Am off to a friend's place for dinner. Hope that everyone is having a nice weekend. ![]() Maggie __________________ Peace, Love and Roswell Last edited by Maggie aka Sarah : 03-23-2008 at 01:46 PM. | |||

| Hey Maggie! Glad to know you're doing well! I hope you had a nice Easter. I had a nice Easter, we hosted friends and family, I think we had about 17 people! It was chaos as usual, but still lots of fun. The weather cooperated, it was chilly but bright and sunny and we were able to do our Easter egg hunt. We hid 29 hard boiled eggs (you have to count them!) and a bunch of plastic eggs that my dad put money in. The kids love finding quarters and change in the eggs and he even put a one dollar bill in one of them! You have to know my Scrooge-like dad to appreciate him parting with a dollar! He's a very frugal Scotchman. I had Friday off so I went to see The Other Boleyn Girl with a friend of mine. It was pretty good, not great, but still fun to see. Now I'm recuperating at work from all the work done over the weekend. I hope everyone's well today! __________________ "Life is hard; it's even harder if you're stupid"--John Wayne | |||

| Glad you had a nice Easter Scottie - LOL about the old Scots dad reluctantly parting with a whole $1 bill! I found a plastic Easter egg in the park and it had a note inside that said: "The Easter bunny is a Democrat." ![]() Maggie good to see your pixels! You've been missed, sweetie! But I understand when other things demand your attention! ![]() Oh, hubba hubba I just found some goodies about the returning 'Moonlight' on April 25 - check it out ![]() ![]() So NO EXCUSE for missing this episode when the show comes back! ![]() I saw the Other Bolyn girl got a really bad review somewhere. MLette and I watched "Once" that Irish movie about the street musician and immigrant Czech girl (they won an Oscar for the song). It was pretty good (she put on the subtitles because of the Irish accent! LOL!) although didn't end romantically as we'd expected! Kind of a let down! 'New Amsterdam' tonight! I'm looking forward to it. Mr ML and I are liking that weird Dexter too, and even stayed up til midnight last night to watch it, because it was delayed almost an hour by some sport thing or other... ![]() __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| Hey ML! I wasn't thrilled with The Other Boleyn Girl either, but I love costume driven movies (if that's even a type of movie!). I also love that period in history and thought the settings would be cool to see. I'd read the book a couple of years ago (so-so book, mostly made up stuff based on rumors and loosely based in fact). There was quite a lot of stomping around the castle, hair flipping and not enough Eric Bana! Wasn't Once the movie whose theme song won the Oscar? I'm glad you liked it. Yeah, that egg's message is confusing! ![]() Yay for Moonlight's return! I've missed it so much. And yum to the AO'L picture! Nice, very nice! I wonder if the beach he's on is in California or Australia? It's beautiful. (to which ML replies "beach? what beach"?) ![]() I've got my hubby watching New Amsterdam too, we're both enjoying it. Who was surprised that Sarah won't commit to a man whose identity she can't Google? Sheesh! __________________ "Life is hard; it's even harder if you're stupid"--John Wayne | |||

| Oh the beach is definitely in California as it's a behind the scenes thing for Episode 13 (the one when the show comes back April 25) - have other ones of a guy with a camera bundled up and the wind blowing Alex O, and one of him and Sophia/Beth having a picnic. Looked like it was a chilly day at the beach but they made the best of it! Alex O'L is home and they are back to work shooting 'Moonlight' as of early March sometime. ![]() Yep, what beach!? That is one fine figure of a man, that vampire Australia fellow! ![]() Oh boy, now I'm so totally psyched - not only is Kyle S coming to Boston in July but he convinced Dylan Neal to come too (well, I made that part up but Dylan just signed on to the Jumpcon too, to the same cities as Kyle). How cool is that! I thought that thing in Orlando was a once-in-a-lifetime thing and suddenly the Blood Ties boys are coming to visit me! ![]() Hoping this new con isn't some big scam because they claim they are having a skazillion sci-fi related folks coming, including Ron Moore who made Battlestar G (and ruined Roswell - ahem - I was surprised how old he is, thought he was young like Jason Katims) and Edward J Olmos and Kevin Sorbo and Adrian Paul and... the list goes on (and on and on). But, y'know, there really isn't anybody I'd pay big $ to meet there - if it were free, I'd go shake their hands and tell them I liked their show but.. ![]() I'm not made of money!!! (In that, I share your dad's attitude Scottie ) Yes, New Amsterdam was wonderful, although the cop part isn't as good as the immortal part - I knew instantly who did it, as soon as I laid eyes on the guy. Just had a psychic feeling. Love the AA stuff - this show is just so... well, educational! And cool and hot at the same time. A really likeable main character. Well, gee, wouldn't you be suspcious of getting involved with a mystery man with no past? LOL, then again I didn't even know my husband's last name when we went on our first date (and I was kind of worried he was going to kill me and leave me in the woods, but that's another story). Turned out he was perfectly fine! So fine, I married him! ![]() OK, now we're sucked into Dancing with the Stars again. LOL, that poor Penn Jillette with the enormous feet - the judge said he danced like Shrek. And Penn J is a nasty man and doesn't take criticism well, so I have no idea why he's doing this show (maybe it's the money - or his ego as big as his feet ahem). Anyway, he and Adam Corrolla (who I can't stand) I hope will get the axe first. Poor Monica Selles the tennis girl is the worst dancer I've ever seen, her poor partners. And the deaf gal is doing fantastic and so is Priscilla Presley (she's 63!!) and that Christan Fuentes whoever is kind of odd - who is that guy? I don't think he'll last. I think Kristy Yamaguchi is going to win - that's my prediction! LOL! I just love the music, the dancing, and seeing people working really hard to learn something that's new and difficult for them and giving it their all. Very uplifting show. ![]() And okay, the dancing guys have really great bodies too! That Danish guy Luis van Amstel sort of reminds me of the New Amsterdam guy, in fact. And the girls are very pretty and sexy and the costumes - it's so much fun!__________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||

| Hey Everyone! ![]() Maggie!!! It's soooo goooood to seeee you! See, I've missed you too! LOL! No, really, I've missed your wonderful posts! It's so good to see you pop in! ![]() Now I'm missing Poddy & Vero! Hugs to you both as I'm sure you must be busy. ![]() MyrnaLynne! Thanks for the PICTURE! Love those bts shots! And Love those ...ahem..."guy lines" ![]() (Now Jason don't get jealous... MyrnaLynne made me look at that guy! I swear!) LOL! That's Great that the Blood Ties Guys are coming to Boston! How could you NOT go with them in your back yard?! And I too loved "New Amsterdam" last night! At least NOW we know where the TOTAL HONESTY THING came from! But AA should put a disclaimer on that ...like..."WITHIN REASON!" Geesh! Guess they didn't expect to have an immortal as a member, eh? LOL!Oh, and I knew it was the politician husband that did it too right from the start! Just had that gut feeling and my gut is usually right. ![]() Scottie, LOL! about your Dad and giving up that dollar! That really must have been something! LOL! I'm so glad to hear that you had such a nice Easter! Wow, 19 was quite a crowd! The more the merrier! ![]() I had 13, so I had a houseful too! I did all the cooking, and MOTHER was suppose to help, but she only started to make her famous Portuguese Stuffing, and I ended up helping her with that because her arthritis was bothering her too much, so I took over with the rest of everything. Of course, everyone said everything was out of this world, ( Wen takes a bow) LOL! And everyone had a good time visiting, eating, laughing, and just enjoying the day. It was a beautiful day, around 70*, perfect weather for a perfect day. ![]() But when I awakened yesterday morning, it felt like I was hit by a Bus! I hurt from head to toe, And my legs were so swollen that my knees would not bend! So I had to be practically bedridden! Grrrrrr! Stupid body! Grrrrrr!I'm a bit better today, but this is a slow process to get the swelling down. At least my body doesn't hurt like it did yesterday. Lainie said that I just over did it, but I didn't see her little behind in the kitchen helping me... she was busy enjoying visiting with her cousins, and I didn't mind that at all. I was just surprised at the way I felt the next day! I guess I am getting older, and what a surprise that was on me! LOL! I don't know what happened? How did I get this old?! In my mind, I don't feel this old, but my body sure feels it! What a rotten trick, eh?! | Yep, that pix of Alex O'Loughlin is seriously droolworthy. I sent it to my friend who has fallen for this guy and she said it was the best birthday present ever! LOL (it just happened to be her birthday and she was a bit mopey and a little shirtless Alex body really did the trick to cheer her right up again!) Oh gosh, will April 25 ever come with more 'Moonlight'? It seems like all FOX made was 7 episodes of 'New Amsterdam' and that's it (originally had ordered 13, then cut it back). sigh. I can't understand how you can cancel a show before you even air it, because it's doing very well, is very popular, and by the ratings, kind of a hit show! I know that's partly because there is absolutely nothing else interesting on TV to watch because of the writer's strike, but still... It's a good show, people love it - give it a chance! Just doesn't make any sense. Yep, as soon as I laid eyes on that guy I said "Oh - he did it!" LOL! And what's up with the weird new lady police boss acting bizarre with his lady partner. Strange. Poor Wen with all your having to take it easy, you've probably lost a lot of stamina, and cooking a feast for 13 is a lot of heavy work! I hope you recover soon. Yep, when did we start to get so old. sigh. ![]() Oh well, we have those beautiful boys like Jason to keep our hearts young! ![]() It's been 2 weeks since I came home from Orlando with this stupid cold and I'm still coughing - it should be over by now. The cold is gone, but the cough is still hanging around for awhile longer. Oh well.. this too shall pass!Oh, sorry, I had it wrong - the Dancing with the Stars guy Louis is DUTCH, not Danish - similar look, different country altogether! LOL! ![]() Well there is some justice in the world (of TV reality shows) as Penn Jilette and Monica Selles got voted off Dancing WT Stars and they were the worst two. I just find that Penn J a nasty nasty sort of man. I don't even like their magic act, it's mean and abrasive. shrug. Now they just have to get rid of Adam Corolla... It was interesting to see the Jonas Bros, as I've heard a lot about them and how all the girls are nuts for them and they are such nice religious christian boys. Great hair, great eyebrows! LOL! I was so happy they had Cameron Mattheson do a 'roving reporter' thing from his soap in NYC (in his superman costume from the dancing show - giggle - he probably wears that to bed now - ahem). Gosh he is such a cute and nice fellow! Yep, thank you, Canada, for sending us all these gorgeous guys! It must be all that fresh air and clean living up there, eh? ![]() Oh well, and thanks to Australia too for Alex O'L. He's a bit of all right as well. Was reading about Steve Guttenberg, who is also dancing on that show, and HE has the same birthday as Alex O'L and Kyle Schmid too - August 24. How odd is that. Must be a birthday that causes people to become actors, I guess! He seems like a wonderful guy who is very happy and does lots and lots of work for charities too. His film 'Short circuit', the movie about the robot, was one of my families favorite movies when my kids were little! "Johnny 5... is alive" "No disassemble! No dissassemble!" LOL! MLette said he had an injury on a film and his left side was paralyzed or something so the fact that he's dancing is pretty amazing. That and he's no spring chicken! Interesting spider thing Mezz. My rabbi said something like that to me once, when I was younger. He said something I'd written was good, but I said I was just paraphrasing what was already there, didn't write it myself, and he said something about spiders make things from their own bodies, but bees gather things from here and there and put it together and come out with honey! Anyway, different but similar, and it made me feel good at the time! Sometimes you are a spider, sometimes you are a bee! ![]() Have to wait til payday to sign up to see that other BT guy at the convention - hard to wait! It's funny he had such a big/long career and I never saw him before until this show. He was one of those guys who was almost TOO good looking when he was younger - I think that is possible. Now he's mellowing out into just being handsome. ![]() __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" | |||
