Hey all!!!
Yep still here!

It was hard even geting into FF this time and I know for a fact it wasn't me or my computer.... it's a little worrying but I hope it's nothing to serious....

Scottie, I just love Hazel's pic! I wish I had a dog.... but then I'm still living at home and apperently mom is completely aginst it.

But else is new...

That is so sweet to worry about me everytime something happens around here....

but you really don't have to... things happen here on a daily basis and some are not being reported in the world-wide communication media.... there really isn't nothing to be worried about.... well not to much anyway.

I guess I'm just used to things so I don't over think them or over worry about them... if anything I'm over angry....

Ooooo I totally wish I had a phone-camera... or a camera-phone.... I would probebly take pics all day long. I just love taking pictures! It's so much fun! Funny thing is that my mom and dad have camera phones but they don't even know how to make them work.

Yea that blond dr. on House is Cameron... she dyed it at the begging or some season (3rd maybe? or 4th?). That season is being broadcst over here now.

ML, who said dancing can't get you hurt ha? Poor guy. Have no idea who he is.... but still poor guy. Sometimes it makes me laugh that I don't know almost any of the guys/girls dancing in that Dancing with Stars show at the US.

But then you probebly don't know the ones dancing over here....

I do hope Moonlight will be back on.

Always a pain when a show you love might go of the air.

I am just soooo happy to be back! I missed everyone so much and I just couldn't wait to get back and post again!

I too went to FF yesterday afternoon and finally settled down to post and then wham....no FF......glad it's up today though....although think I'm gonna post in parts...just in case it dissapears again

Do many ppl have dogs where you are..I guess I'm imagining small yards and hot weather make it tought to have big dogs at least. We are happy you are back too!!!!

I might be back later in May to watch her cat while they travel.....still pondering what mix of ppl(friends/podad/Em) to have with me.....but if it works that I could come to the mall and do lunch with you maybe we could make it happen....end of May.....we'll do a sun prayer by the reflecting pool

Here is the dancing guy, courtesy of his MySpace page (which unlike a lot of fake Myspace's, is his)

It's true, different countries have different 'Dancing with the Stars' and we don't know anything about them! It's a wildly popular show - it is number 2 right after American Idol (which I have never watched and don't plan to ever start watching!)

Yes, dancing is a sport like anything else and you can get hurt! One of the professional dancers wrenched his neck the other week - I am sure they get hurt all the time. Although I am sure this guy also must have been lifting weights too because he has very nice arm muscles, which he likes to show off with no sleeves - ahem...

Anyway, I was right, the tall slimgirl Shannon Elizabeth got eliminated because she and her partner got snarky and mouthed off about the judges decisions and turned off the fans for being bad sports, and Cristian got a lot of sympathy votes because he got hurt and he stayed on. He did tear something in his arm and it needs surgery but the doctor said he could wait until he's done with the show!

MLette thought that was a very unwise decision, and how is he going to hold her and pick her up or whatever with a hurt arm?And if he dances badly, he will get eliminated. Ah, those macho guys who have to press on through the pain!

Everyone would understand if he had to stop for a medical reason, and that way, he would never have had to lose/be eliminated! LOL! Could go out a winner. Oh well, he's cute. Although sometimes when people speak English too fast to him (or Bruno the judge talks with his heavy Italian accent), I get the feeling he has NO idea what's going on! Oh well, that's just how I'd be if I was in Chile and people were speaking Spanish to me!

Yes, it doesn't sound worth adding a service to your phone for one photo. MLette has the photo and the internet service and all that, but she uses her phone a lot - it takes great pictures too! And even better - she pays her own phone bills!

I've never seen a squirrel roll around in dirt like a dog - how cute (my dog loves to have a good roll on the grass, preferably on something stinky!). I think squirrels are very cute and funny animals, and they seem to really have fun and enjoy life. Playful. Athletic. Daredevils - like Jason!

Sigh, Boss gave me another 'mystery job' this morning - left it for me but I don't have any idea what I'm supposed to do with it - and I see from the letter with it, that it was due to be sent back by April 15! LOL! Oh well, only 2 weeks late..

VB I hope some day you will be able to have a dog. They are a lot of work and mess and responsibility but they are SO CUTE! And so warm and furry and loving. And very good companions.

The Cameron girl's real haircolor is blond - she had it dark and wore glasses on House I guess to look 'smart' - or to contrast her more with Jesse Spencer? Who knows? Too bad their romance/engagement fell apart - that must be awkward to have to keep working together. I was glad they had something to do on the show this week (we watched it on tape last night). I didn't like the medical stuff that much but House fighting with Wilson's new girlfriend (and his former student doctor - who is a female version of House) was pretty funny. I like Wilson and Cuddy. But I think I am getting tired of that show. Next week is Jason Lewis playing an actor for House's fave soap and House being weird - we all remember Jason Lewis... ahem

although he's a bit older and has short hair now (and wears clothes). :p Hope that isn't too naughty to post here - but it was published in magazines! So...

yea animal life and ppl life is hard alot of the time. The rice thing is scary..............the whole ball of wax is really scary these days.

about continued jpb scare with your boys...good they don't feel it though...easier for them to go every day to work. Glad your Moonlight show is still on for your pleasure and escaping!! I think I told you guys a tid bit about Jans fam and then my sisters thing about possibly(very likely) having both groups loose half or more of their life savings(by being in Bonds that they thought were secure but this mortgage thing has ruined) very very bad and scary....my Liz is being a big help with Jans fam(basically taking over their finances...restructing portfolio etc...she has the knowledge plus conections in the business so that's a beautiful thing and a blessing) not much she can do for my sister but pray it works out. Yuck.... that was way too much reality......Hawaii pix to distract.....hope you can see them vB

as well as funny...podad had a too tight shortie on(he got a bigger one after this pic) and I have my old lady skirt sticking out with no makeup) sad thing for me....the pic I really wanted was on the good dive...I had a guy take a pic of us with our great divemaster Kat in full scuba garb right before we jumped in and he didn't snap anything...I was so bummed cause I really wanted that pic

podad and Italian hottie and so so first divemaster going in at the crappy / low visibility shore dive where I floundered around coming out (ie fell and washed around on the rocks till they helped me cause my poor old feet and self could not hold up all that weight on the slippery hard rocks)

so I didn't take a second dive there....podad was a born diver though...not a second of fear(me my first dive I almost had a nervous breakdown)

I'd never seen a squirrel roll around in the dirt before either, and I love to watch the squirrels. We have a high board fence in our back yard and we call it the "squirrel super highway" because they use it to go from one side of our yard to the other, thus avoiding Hazel the squirrel attack dog. Like Elmo, she feels it's her doggy responsibility to keep the squirrels out of the yeard. They do provide endless entertainment for dogs, don't they? I don't know what Hazel would ever do if she caught a squirrel, but she tries mighty hard to get one. Now that she's nine years old (or thereabouts) she's a teensy bit slower than she used to be, but she's still fast as lightning. Just not as fast as a squirrel!

The guy from DWTS tore his bicep muscle (I heard on the radio this morning). So you're right, that would make it tough to lift a partner overhead. I wonder how long he'll make it?

Thanks for the compliments on Hazel, I just found that picture taken at Easter time and thought you'd all enjoy it since we all seem to love our pets!

VB - I didn't know that DWTS had another group of dancers in Israel, so thanks for the news! I'm glad you're safer than I imagine you to be, but I still pray for your (and your family's) safety. Of course, I work in Washington, DC, probable target of many nasty things, so maybe I should be worried too?

But like you, I choose not to be and just go ahead blissfully through my life!

Podmom - thanks for the downward facing dog done in my honor, that's very nice of you! That's a tough position to do correctly, looks so simple but needs lots of arm strength. Especially when your instructor says "hang out for a while in this position" and all you want to do is come down! My instructor worked our abs mercilessly last night. He's going on a cruise where he's going to be the fitness coordinator for a week and he's trying to fine tune his body (like it needs fine tuning!) so we're all suffering. We all joke that we hate April and May (the cruise is always mid-May) because he needs to look major buff.

Those gifs are fun, especially the Kramer-sliding one!

If you really are available for lunch sometime, I'd love to meet you, maybe drag LTL along so she could see you too. I'll be away Memorial Day weekend, we're taking the camper down to Assateague Island for the holiday. I'm going to see my sister in NC the weekend of the 16-18 so I'll be out of town then too. But it could work out!

I watched American Idol last night and got so mad at the judge's opinions of Syeesha, who's my favorite, that I actually called to vote for her. And little did I know that it costs money to vote! I voted like ten times! My husband came into the room and said "did you get through?" and when I told him I'd voted numerous times he told me that it costs money! I am so screwed...and so dumb...

Wen Em and I got our decorations for Lizs shower from that place...forgetting the name..oiy.........We are traveling to State College for Ems graduation....me and dad and Liz and Walter...Em and her house mates(all 10 of them) are having a shindig for the parents.....we'll have a family dinner/celebration up there but you have given me the idea to have something in OC when she and I are at the beach(Liz is coming down at least once while we're there in June before Em goes to work in July)...so I will take a pg from your lovely book and have a party with the bros fam and us.......maybe my sis would even come. That was an amazing saga about the fedx package...what a nice lady!! Glad your bro and sis inlaw have new jobs! He can be a pain but we want him solvent

Even in the 'bad' picture, you look good Poddy, you are just a very pretty woman! I think I'd be bad at diving too, since I have a bit of claustrophobia with the mask and stuff over my nose. It would be fascinating though - I love fish! That was what I liked best about Bermuda - the aqua clear water and you could stand on the dock and see all sorts of beautiful tropical fish, just swimming by!

Scary financial stuff! It's a blessing your daughter is a wizard at straightening things out. My brother's money situation is pretty hopeless too - when his wife ever said she'd thrown the daughter's orthodontia onto the credit cards!

And they took out one of those bad ballooning mortgages (that are causing people to lose their homes). ahem. Pretty disappointing to have a big brother who can't help himself (or find his butt with both hands), never mind be nearing retirement age and will never be in a position to help out his parents (or his little sister). I think my dad is still sending them money! ahem. Sorry - too much real life, too many sour grapes. Sorry!

Funny - it must be spring - teeny tiny ants are going through my office - and I'm on the top floor of the building! Nature - it's everywhere!

I'm kind of getting excited for Mother's Day - it's the first one since my mother passed away and it always was a difficult 'holiday', trying to find a card to send her that was nice, but didn't lie about what a wonderful relationship we'd always had!

And feeling sad that we didn't have a wonderful relationship. sigh. Anyway, this year it's just All About Me! LOL! Only mother around.

There are lots of commercials on about it. We went out to eat with MLette and the BF and the restaurant had a sign about Mother's Day reservations and he asked about our Mother's Day plans.

Also saw a cute flyer with Mother's Day gifts (little glass animals) and I showed it to MLette - hint hint! LOL! We don't make a BIG deal about this holiday but don't want to be neglected either. At the very just would like a card and a few kind words.

LOL, Scottie, oh, there's a Jason connection to Jason Lewis too (aside from the same first name) - I heard Jason B was offered the role as the sexy boy toy on Sex in the city that Jason Lewis eventually took on instead (after JB turned it down). Okay, very SLENDER JB connection, but it's a relevant topic!

Jason Lewis also likes dogs, has/had two big dogs (? Great Danes maybe, something big).
Anyway, he's on House next week, victim, er, patient of the week!

DWTS started in England I think and they have version of it all over the world! It's very very popular! Dancing, singing, a band, celebrities, drama - what's not to love!

I like the downward dog - my dog and I sometimes stretch and 'play bow' together. That's just what I need - somebody to work my abs mercilessly!! Or maybe with mercy - but so I'd actually have some abs!

I actually NEED to vote for DWTS on my phone because I've racked up so many dollars of phone time, that keeps rolling over and I never call anybody! LOL!

I need to start calling a psychic hotline or those guys who talk dirty to you or something and roll down some of those minutes/dollars! It maxes out at $500 and won't save any more. Yeh, yeh, I know, I should just cancel the stupid thing, but I like having it - Especially handy when travelling.

Sorry I was dissing American Idol - I think the main reason I won't watch it is that I'm too old to try out for it and I think that's totally unfair!

ML - my older sister's situation is very much like your brother's situation. My dad, who you know is elderly, just received a letter from my sis saying that her house payments have gone up so high she can't make the payments and her house is in default! My sister teaches English at a small Christian college in South Carolina, and doesn't make a whole lot of money. One of her daughters, who's 23 years old and already has TWO children, lives with her and doesn't work (goes to school part time and takes care of her kids). So my sister wrote to my dad and asked HIM what to do. My dad forwarded the letter on to me and my younger sister (the one in NC) for guidance. Oy. So now I guess I have to think of a way out of this for her. So not looking forward to that! But why should my dad bail her out? He can't really do anything for her, but she's in a fine pickle!

Just had to share my family's dirty laundry with y'all too!

MyrnaLynne, Thanks for the nekkid guy pic! a-hem! Sure woke me up as I've been kind of out of it the last couple of days... Saw my Dr. and he gave me some REALLY STRONG meds for this swelling because he said the quality of my life of has really been affected and not in a good way.

Anyway to make a long story short... these meds have knocked me on my butt! Could barely get my head off the pillow! And every time I tried to stand up, I felt faint! Had to have Lainie help me to the potty! This is NOT good, so I've stopped them, but am still feeling woosie!

I'm hoping I'll be feeling myself soon!

Going to go lie back down now...

It takes to much patience to write and post and then write again and post again.... at least to me. But with everything going on lately that would be a good idea.... maybe....

Well I don't know is a lot of people have dogs... we do have a few in the neighborhood but not to many.... and I leave in an epartments building... which means no small yards around here.

Most people is Israel live in epartments buildings. Some are more elegant then others but that's usually the case. Of course that there are privet homes too but not to many compared to epartments buildings.

That is just so sweet of Liz to want to pampered you and Viv.

I'm so sorry to hear about Jan's family's savings! That is just so bad! I mean your life's savings are there for a reason and to lose a big chak of it just because of the whole morgage thing? That's just so sad! That's great that Liz can help.

Those Hawaii pics are amazing! You and Podad look so sweet in that scuba-gear shop! That's so cool you guys did that.... I don't think I can go diving because my nose isn't that free (if you know what I mean).

ML, and I bet you don't mind those sleeveless shirts.

Well I understand why he stayed on... it's just that it's a job and he actually gets paied for it. I mean what kind of an actor/model/whatever leaves his job in the middle. They do have some sort of disipline when it comes to their jobs and I think that's admirable.... but then it's probebly eazy when you're doing something you love.

I know that about dogs.... that's why I want one. My cosines have a pare of cats and they really are sweet but I still want a dog. They always try and convice me that cats are much better..... maybe.... I still want a dog.

I think that people who live in places like Israel and DC and maybe now NY... we just concentrate on the fun things we have around us and not think too much on the other stuff.... well untill something comes and distractes us from everything that's fun. But we still live here (and there) so it can't be that bad.

Oh don't you just love it when the instractor wants to work on one thing just because he/she needs it? Happened to me a lot of times.... so I just stoped going to classes and work out alone.... but then if they work on the abs then I really don't mind. That's one place that really needs the work in my body (not the only one but def one of the things that bugs me the most).

Amm well of course it costs money to vote... especially if you vote on the phone or cell (which I think are the only ways to go). And speaking of AI! I can't believe Carli was wote out last week!
