hey ML well back from church and going out to lunch with church pps.....cool thing a mom and daughter were there...mom 88 daughter my age....who I knew from when I was young and living here....our moms knew each other...my sister went out with the big brother of that family...they stayed at our house during the big 66 storm when their house flooded..that kind of thing...knew them but don't keep in touch....so they happened to be visiting(which is almost never) and we were...so we got to visit with them which was really nice(and who knows if I'll see themom again(likeyou were saying before...age) exchanged emailswith the daughter and we don't live too far apart so hopefully we'll get it together to visit. ML now it's corpses maybe you need to write a book like Stephany M and get all that stuff out and get rich at the same time you could edit your own book glad te movie was ok....any corps dressing? I haven't been attracted to that franchise even though I like Hugh.....hate his wolverine look(sorry) does he change into that and look normal for part of the movie? I wish your mother inlaw could hear the way you talk about her...she'd be happy I remember that part with the wolfposters.....I'm in BD when they are waiting to be attacked
Ahh thanks for the compliments(Iam way biased) ....Viv ussually takes a bad pic but that one was great....she was relaxed.. I think was the key.
yea the church looks huge there...it is really big and non beachy looking I love the stained glass windows in it. We do have a very beachy summer chapel down this end of the island that is only opened in the summer and has a different preacher every week(that one is so cute) that we go to sometimes in the summer when it's too crowded to hastle driving.

Dreary/rainy day here...maybe a good day to read

went to look for that church...
follow this link ...it shows all OC churches(it is the...Central Ocean City Union chapel...it's brown)..if your bored at work you can check it out Google Image Result for http://www.oceancityonline.com/images/worship/centralunion_sm.jpg

How wonderful to run into that woman and her mother you both have so much history with, at church! As my Hasidic cousin says "There are no coincidences."

Well, Hugh Jackman looks pretty much like that all through the movie with the bouffant hair, the muttonchop sideburns/beard - when he's Wolverine, just the metal claws come out from his knuckles (turns out when he was young, just bone claws came out from his knuckles instead - who knew? LOL!) but then they replaced his bones with the adamantium/space metal - come to think of it, he was naked in a box of water with all sorts of creepy needles about to drill into him and he dies (briefly) - that could be where the corpse thing came from - Oh aside from the bone claws, he also couldn't die, and neither could his (Jewish) brother Liev Schreiber, who instead of the claws had really creepy fingernails and very small fangs (and the muttonchop sideburns). It had a lot of 'action' (violence, fighting, explosions, etc) so Mr ML liked it.

Mr ML is very good, though, he just called me in to see a 'Twilight' thing on Reelz channel - it was old stuff, about the first movie, but I still like to see that stuff. :> He definitely has 'gotten it' that I like Twilight! I'm reading Midnight Sun online again too... hopeless!

Oh Rob Pattinson's birthday is next week, May 13 - he turns 23, the baby boy.

I wonder if he'll be the ET birthday and if they'll give him a nice party on the set etc. Gosh, I have clothes older than him...

It's dreary here too, but we've only had tiny sprinkles of rain. I keep not watering the flowers out front because I think it'll rain, and it doesn't. Mr ML just watched 'Doubt' and he was, well, doubtful for awhile (no 'action') but when he was done he said "That was a good movie."

I spent the weekend up on the mid central coast as it was my dad's 80th b'day. The Step had organised the party and some long time friends and other family drove up. It was a great weekend. The Step told me how annoying and useless I was once I arrived (I forgot to bring the birthday card. I'd bought 2 a couple of weeks ago and left them on the bench) but once she'd got that out of her system she calmed down. The Sister had made a home made card because I'd realised the night before. She makes 'child art' cards. Very simple with stars and stickers. I think they have simply have a 'sister' quality to them. The Step calls them 'preschool, baby art'. Sigh. So any way, she refused to sign the card and will buy another one from herself. I did remember the cake, AND I chose a cake that dad actually really liked. He doesn't like cake as a rule but this one was a Grand Marnier cake, and as the Sister said, 'He'll like it. It's got plonk in it' (Plonk is alcohol by the way) and he did, he even had a second piece. So I got that right. And I remembered to make the bow for the present. So I remembered 3 out of 4 things. (I'd also cut some flowers from the garden so the Sister could give them for an early mother's day gift. (I refuse to give mother's day any acknowledgment. The Sister was signing the card and said, 'shall I sign it from both of us? .... The flowers are from both of us right?' ...... Uh-uh. She's such a sweety. Forever hopeful that all will be peace.

Anyway, I got side tracked into a rant. hehe. I stayed at the Sister's apartment and it's REALLY lovely. Tucked away in the bush, on the high side of the street and looking out through the Gums to the water. Absolutely quiet. No street lights at night. We sat on the veranda on the Sat morning in the sun with the view. Dad and the Step always say how it doesn't look like a home because all the wall are bare and stuff. I thought it was lovely. And they say how messy it always is. I thought it was really well organised. They also complain that she likes you to take your shoes off at the door (being OCD she has a dirt phobia) but that makes total sense when there because you walk over mud and dirt and gravel then up the steps to a landing. Why should she trapse all the dirt in. I thought it was simply lovely. Had a good time staying there. Twas funny, she goes in the back of the property when she comes home rather than the front because it's easier to get the car into the car spot and it's a full on cross country drive - dirt roads and tree roots, through the bush and down overgrown tracks. It's a wonder her car survives. 'Bush Bashing' we call it and the first time she did it was at night so I'm sitting in this bouncy car while she's with just the headlights going down all these overgrown tracks.

Anyway, dad was really happy. His friends and family were there, he got a new flat screen tv that he can adjust so it doesn't boom out and his deaf ears will actually be able to hear it. The Step had also organised a cake for church on Sunday morning and that was great too. So a successful w/end.

The Step's bestest friend of all time has come to visit for the first time with her down's syndrome daughter. (She's a US gal) That is also fun but the daughter, bless her, LOVES music so I kept having to play with her while she played the keyboard. Her mum on the violin. Twas fun but, just like a kid she can go for hours and hours. The Step was laughing that they went to a tourist town and the daughter sang the entire hour there and back. Said that dad was going slowly crazy as she only sings a tuneless 3 notes The Step told dad that he had nothing to complain about as she was driving them around for 2 weeks straight (they're touring up to Queensland and back and leaving dad behind) and would have an awful lot more than 2 hours of tuneless singing They're going to have fun. The Mother has had to find out all the friends who have keyboards on the way up so the daughter can play

I'm back at work now. Holidays are over and later on today I will begin with the house hunting. I've got some addresses to check out and see what the places are like. I'll just get an idea of distances and areas, won't actually go into the houses. So it has begun.

Talking of Hugh..... he was saying in an interview that he had never been going for the over muscled look with Wolverine, just the vein popping look that a lot of muscled 'woodcutter' type blokes have so he bulked up for that. He said that in the promo poster shot he's actually holding really heavy bags of sand to make his forearms and biceps veins stick out. It helps that he's pretty shaggy naturally too. As for his wife, she is older I think but she hasn't really aged much. She still looks the same age now as when they met. She's got a square face and has just always looked middle aged. Some photos make her look a lot older too. She seems to love fun though so they're a good match. Love at first sight thing too. Very sweet. Hugh is also so completely unashamed of her too. Often pulling her into his side and pecking her on the cheek while out. Very normal couple.

Thankyou for the new Jason pics. I'll get to buy those DVD's at some stage and watch. I can't imagine any of them will be rentable over here.

Wen, I can't imagine how you function on so little sleep. I do hope your appointments go well.

Poddy, glad you're having a positive time with the Big Viv.

to you all

Mezz Thanks ....... Good to see you! I loved all your discriptions of Austrailian countryside and colloquialisims my mom likes boozy cakes too...she likes rum cake. Very interesting hearing some of the family dynamics....it has to be so very hard to have a step mom you don't like there is a reason that is a common theme in fairy tails I think 3 out of 4 things is great...the cake is the most important part of any Bday in my book Ahh so sweet of you to make visiting girl happy by playing music with her...I'll bet you guys sounded great. So you are back at work and house hunting...you are busy! Are you having a housing crash your way too? Hopefully it is a good time for you to be buying. Kind of fun to house hunt

ML Yes I'm with your cousin ..a little yang to that yin though...the hot water heater broke here....thank goodness I was putting in a load of cloths before going to bros for dinner.....water gushing out the relief pipe...hot....I was scrambling for pots.....fortunately my neighbor was walkingby and I asked her if she knew how to turn the water off on it(the washroom is outside...seperate from the house in it's own little room with the heater(fortunately)so the water dumped on the cement instead of flooring. SO turned it off....plumber coming tomorrow morning(no hot water now) Cable is not working right..they are coming Tuesday...good thing we came down so I can get stuff fixed....Viv doesn't deal real well with this kind of stuff Well I don't see me watching Wolverine....no can do the mutton chops You're talking me into Doubt though

Poor mezzy the Step really is a nasty and diapproving piece of work, isn't she? It's too bad she can't develop a 'live and let live' attitude about stuff. I'm glad you managed to have a good birthday with your Dad anyway, and who hasn't forgotten the card now and then? The sister's place sounds lovely, too - we take off our shoes too - who wants to track who knows what all over the place (usually with our luck, it will be dog poo). Although driving over the bouncy Bush to get to the back entrance sounds too exciting for me! Mr ML would drive like that, I'm sure, except he knows I would yell and whack him for it/wrecking the car/scaring me half to death! LOL!

Wen it's always something, isn't it? Sorry for the water heater letting go and lucky it's in its own outbuilding/didn't ruin anything. Ours is in the basement and it could flood the whole place before we realize it isn't working. We had ours replaced not that long ago, when there suddenly was no hot water.

Monday again - had a pretty quiet and boring Sunday. Ended up watching the end of "Home Makeover" and the weepiness. They do build fabu mansions for unfortunate folks, and the people always seem to love them (even though the bedroom they made for the daughter looked like a bordello - ahem). Sort of wished they'd come do that for us, but I guess I really wouldn't like them knocking down our house, throwing away all our stuff, and rebuilding and redecorating it to their own taste! And... surprise!

Yes, Hugh Jackman seems extremely happily married and I'm sorry I was saying catty stuff about his wife, because who cares if she's older or anything else - they make each other happy and have stuck together and that's more than most Hollywood folks can say.

According to my calendar, Jason and Tribeca was 5 years ago! Wow - time does go by.

Just saw FF has some Twilight fanfiction site - read one and it was very good. Rob reads all that stuff, he said, what the fans are saying. Read some more "Midnight Sun" to - LOL - MLette came in and said "Aha! Caught you reading Twilight!" so I had to stop and go be friendly.

Hi Everyone!

Gosh, I've missed a lot! Everyone posted while I was away from the thead!

I ended up spending the day with MOTHER after all... she was up all night the night before, then slept thru' lunch and her sugar fell too low, and she ended up feeling sick all day because of it so she called me because she was afraid she would be passing out and getting hurt. (sigh)

So I spent the day with her, and she was fine, just feeling crummy.

She's knows she's suppose to eat regularly, but she was too lazy and sleepy to make herself something to eat, so instead of eating 1st, no, she layed down and went to sleep! Grrrr!!!

She's been doing this a lot lately too! Grrrr!!! Then I have to go over and babysit her, And wait on her hand and foot! Grrrr!!!

I was so mad that I yelled at her and told her if she kept this up... then it was Assisted Living for her!!! And then she started to cry... UGH! (sigh) She frustrates me to No End!!!

Ok, rant over... sorry.

Mezzi, I'm glad your Dad had a nice Bday, and yes, 3 out of 4 isn't bad... so you forgot the cards, but you remembered the other things and that's Great!!! Stepmum needs to lighten up!

Glad you enjoyed your stay with your sis. Very nice description of her place! Felt like I was there too!

Good luck with your house hunting!

Poddy, So sorry to hear about the water heater! Good thing you were there when it went out! And yes, it is a small world to still have local folks living & working in the area that you know. Kind of a nice surprise having that happen.

And sorry about the Cable not working right either. Hopefully it will be as good as new soon too!

And Sorry that Big Viv is driving you Nuts with her negativity and complaining. MOTHER is often negative and Always complains too, so I really feel for you.

I'm a "half full" glass type of person and she's a "half empty" glass person, and I take it that you and Big Viv are the same way.

It's hard to keep sane with such peeps around.

Thank you for All the Wonderful Pictures!!! I've never seen Hugh's wife before... she's very pretty, even if she's older. And I think that's wonderful of him to love her for who she is, and not dumping her for getting older looking.

And yes, I agree, Big Viv looks good with your beautiful Liz! And I love your stained glass window too! It's beautiful!

MyrnaLynne, Yes, strange dream in deed! Corpses now! I'm afraid to ask what's next!!! Hopefully it will be a nice one!

Oh, and was Dominick M. one of the X-Men too? Way Cool if he was! I like him a lot. Seems like a nice kid. Sorry he got killed off on LOST.

And yes, it was Poddy with the broken water heater. My water heater is in my gargage, and I've had my fare share of them going out in the 23yrs going on 24, that I've lived in this house. Not fun to say the least.

Oh, I called this morning to see about my order of my Edward and Bella action figures, because I haven't gotten notification yet that they've been shipped, even tho' they were suppose to ship on May 1st, but the man that answered the phone was very abrupt and kind of rude and just said that they won't be in until the end of the week and they'll ship then. Geesh! Talk about lack of phone curtesy!

I ordered them from the same place that you got your Edward blanket from... Have you ever called them? Just curious... Just wondering if you got the same treatment that I did if you had. Most annoying.

And I absolutely LOVE Midnight Sun!!! I keep re-reading it too!

I hope Everyone has a Great Week!

Hugs to All!
Wen

Sorry Poddy I got your water heater woes mixed up with Wen! Must still have been half-asleep this morning!

Sorry the mothers are driving you both crazy right now! Negativity gets so old - I really try to fight that in myself and look on the sunny side. In fact, I sing that song sometimes "Keep on the sunny side of life."

LOL, now there are ads for Christianity at the top of the page, and 'learn Biblical Hebrew' at the bottom of the page Oh gosh, I took a class in Biblical Hebrew in college and had to drop it, was the hardest teacher/hardest class!

Wen sorry your Mom was playing fast and loose with her blood sugar! I had one of those blood sugar crashes the other day and hadn't had one in a long time - felt all dizzy and light headed and out of sorts until I had something to eat. Weird (don't have diabetes, but if I eat wrong, sugar shoots up, and then crashes down again). Maggie has the same thing with her, too. Which was good when I visited her in Montreal, because we both had to eat something at regular intervals/didn't forget to eat, as happens with fannish get-togethers sometimes! Forget to eat, forget to sleep.

Bad news about Dominic Monaghan - he doesn't survive this X-Men movie either!
I was very disappointed they killed him off on 'Lost', esp as the show creator said they were so lucky to have him on the show and they would NEVER kill off his character, blabbity blah. But I'd already stopped watching "Lost' by then. I only watched it because Ian Somerhalder was on it, and he was one of the 'first to go.'

I see that 'Private Practice' is picked up for another season - another nice steady paycheck for Mrs Jason for another year! I'm sure he's investing it wisely. Actors have to be so careful with their money because they make a whole lot of it, now and again, and then it might be nothing after that for a long, long time. I would find that a very difficult way to live (not being the queen of budgeting!)

No, I've never dealt with Powerstar by phone, but I just assumed it was some nerdy fan guy in New Jersey running a little business out of his apartment, not any kind of a big operation. That's no excuse for being rude, however! I just saw they have a 'Roswell' soundtrack for sale - and also a Roswell blanket - a new Roswell product, after all this time! I think it might be the (faux) soundtrack that goes with the DVDs though, so I'm not sure about getting it. And I think the Edward blanket has used up my quota of 'fannish blankets' as well!

Saw a nice interview with RobP at 'hisgoldeneyes' talking about How to Be, his earlier movie where he plays a weird guitar playing kid (haha not a huge stretch), except I guess this guy is a really bad musician and writes terrible songs and, well, Rob is not! That's where the acting part came into it. He spoke very well about it and didn't seem as nervous and embarrassed as usual in these interviews. I have that movie on my Netflix list. Also really looking forward to 'Little Ashes' when he's Salvador Dali - that looks totally cool.

Thanks for the Mrs and Mrs Hugh Jackman pix - she really hasn't changed at all, has she, and he's just gotten better looking. Well, he was a bit of a young pup when they met, and now he's turned in Mr Sexy Man! LOL!

I like him, as I've said, but as far as finding him attractive - he does absolutely nothing for me, not sure why. He just seems very pleasant and kind of boring.

Very cool about the plumber's brother! That's so nice, to live in one place a long time and know people. We moved way way too many times growing up to put down any roots. I've lived the longest where I am now, and Mr ML's family lived on that street (and I think his mother before him) so he knows people. Plus, from playing basketball in the park, he knows just about every able-bodied basketball playing man in the city! But the old people die/move away, and the new people are always working and you never get to know your neighbors at all, as close as our houses are in the city, which is too bad. Although sometimes better not to know them - the neighbor next to my brother-in-law across the street took down the fence between their property, and now that she wants to put up a new one, she asked if he'd mind if she took a foot or two of his property!! Well, yeh, he has maybe 2 feet wide of yard on that side of his house and he definitely did mind! The nerve of some people!

Very good of you to take care of the bros dog along with Big Viv.

Very proud of myself because I got 2 (count em) 2 papers edited and sent off today. If I can edit/format them faster than the Editors can accept new ones, I might actually get caught up!

Dream on!

LOL, I don't know, Hugh likes those older gals - maybe he'd think all of us JOFs were hotties!

Thankyou for the commiserations on the Step. She's the way she is because of her bastard parents. She's called her mother 'hard' and her father a 'psychotic bastard' even though she loved them so much. Parents can really screw up their children but then the parents are that way often, because their parents were that way. When God says that the sins of the fathers are carried onto the sons he knew what he was talking about. She means well. The Step was having her rant in the kitchen and her friend walked in and said, 'I thought you'd be doing better with things like that after all the practice you had with me!' hehe they lived together for 11 years I think it was while serving in Ethiopia. The Step said something else and the friend said, 'Well, that's ok. I'm very happy to have you do all the work.' If I'd have said that stuff I'd be nailed to a wall.

I meant to say ML that your miniature baby dream was great. I hardly ever dream but unfortunately when I do people are being shot or something. There's probably some deep meaning behind that. I dunno.

Poddy, I shouldn't have opened my mouth about Big Viv. I seemed to have jinxed it and now she's gone all annoying again.

The only time so far, that we've had with our hot water was when it started dripping along one of the pipes and therefore down through the light fitting. I said to dad, 'our light's dripping' so dad went up for a look. He wasn't going to turn off the power though. At least the Step is good for keeping him alive She like, "You WILL turn of the power before you go up..... You WILL" so he grumbled at her and turned the power off. The only time our hot water overflowed was when the brainless twits of water bed people came to fill up the water bed and turned on the cold water so fast that it pushed the hot water out into the overflow. Dad was so mad. 'We've got gravity flow hot water' They were like 'huh' So slow. They insisted that the water needed to be warm and dad's like, but it cools down!! What's the point.

That pic of Hugh and Deb before they were married... that was actually on the set of the show where they met. He was a prisoner, she was a cop. It was sparks from the get go. I'll tell you though, it must've been his personality in the breaks coz that hair cut is something shocking

Ok off to have morning tea with some friends.

Hi Everyone!

Yes, I notice the religious ads, LOL! Big Brother is watching again!

Oh MyrnaLynne, I guess you don't watch 'Private Practice' because Mrs. Jason's character got fired in the Season Finale! I don't know what her fate is now?!

I just don't understand it... She played the Character exactly the way they wanted her to, and BOOM!... They fired her for being like that! It just doesn't make sense!

And Dom got killed off in the Movie? Aww, that's so sad. Was he part of the X-Men team?

Oh, and Powerstar now has a Roswell Blanket?! I'll have to check that out, just to see what it looks like of course.

Yes, it probably is some one man operation, but he needs to learn phone manners!

Oh, and I'll have to check out Rob's interview too. I've just been so busy today with having Dr appts and Mother having Dr appts and my Ultra Sound, which btw was not Only the External Pelvic Ultra Sound but ALSO the Internal Ultra Sound as well! I was NOT expecting THAT!

Anyway, glad that's Over With! Whew! I don't like having a Full Bladder like that... Too Uncomfortable!!!

The tech said that my Dr. should have the report in about 48hrs, but my Dr. hurt his knee and is taking some time off, so I don't see him until the 15th now, so I have to wait until then I suppose to find out what's what with me. (sigh)

My poor Dr tho'... When I worked with him, he had to have knee surgery on that knee, and now he hurt it again! I hope he'll be Ok, and not have to have surgery again! Poor Guy! He's really suffered with that knee thru' the years and he's only in his 40's.

And yes, MOTHER KNOWS better not to let her sugar go too low, or she could go into a Diabetic Coma! She's insulin dependent and she REALLY KNOWS BETTER! Grrrrr!!! It just makes me so mad that she does these things to herself! Grrrr!!! And I tell her and tell her that it's important and she can't play games with this, but she still refuses to listen. Very Frustrating!

Poddy, It seems that you've had a busy Monday too! I hope you had a good time with your friends on the Boardwalk! And I hope Big Viv's mood changed for the better, after seeing her friends.

Sending you [[[Big Hugs]]] for all the negativity you have to endure...

Mezzi, How did the house hunting go? See anything you liked so far?

Biggest Hugs to All,
Wen

Summit had a contest, biggest Twilight fan, get to visit New Moon set etc, and they sent a link to the winning videos and the runners up. Very very cute and clever! I was surprised so many boys entered! But I guess they are aspiring actors/filmmakers etc as well as Twilight fans. LOL, I was all excited they were having that contest, but since I can't make videos (and probably there was an age limit - ahem) I forgot about it. Boy who won is cute, maybe he'll be an extra in the movie or something. Twilight fans are very creative and clever!

Yeh (re the Step), my grandmother was very hurtful and belittling to my mother too, but it doesn't mean you have to act the same way yourself! Plus weirdly, my mother denied there was anything wrong with how her mother acted either. Oh well...

Feeling very selfish because I get to have Mother's Day all to myself this year! (And don't have to struggle to find any Mother's Day cards that don't say anything that isn't true. sigh.) I cut out a picture of a big bouquet of flowers and put it on the fridge - might as well start dropping hints! Mr ML got so cranky one year because first it's my birthday and then it's Mother's Day (which he does not feel he needs to recognize - says I'm not his mother - ahem), and then it's our anniversary end of the month so - nonstop celebrating of ME! Still don't have an anniversary plan and it's kind of a big one - 30 years! Oh well, one thing at a time.

Told the boss I'm getting a knee shot tomorrow and I'm going to go home and put my leg up and ice it and not try to come straight to work, because that was so bad last time. She was sympathetic. Wen your poor Doctor and his knee! Did he hurt it doing sports or something? Mr ML has been lucky, with all his jogging and basketball playing, etc, his knees are still good. Although he sprained his ankle a bunch of times and of course hurt/broke some fingers (and didn't bothe to get them set, so they're all gnarly now - men!)

Oh gosh, 'House' was so icky and disturbing last night, I really didn't like it. I decided I wasn't going to watch it anymore - but then I saw next week is the season finale so, I guess I could watch one more. Ugh, how could Cuddy kiss him, when he had that scratchy stubble and had just been throwing up for days on end? I mean - gross!!

Still really liking Castle, and the cop's ex showing up on the case was a good plot, although I suspected who dun it, only I had the wrong parent/reason! The acting/writing is just so good on that show - I'm surprised it wasn't in the top 20 or whatever. Why is Mentalist #1 and not this show, which is better? A mystery. Probaby the time slot/day/what show is opposite it.

KaDee is off 'Private Practice'!? No I didn't know that. Oh that's awful. Although they always shoved her to the background on that show - rarely mentioned her in interviews, put her in photos of the show etc. It's like Paul Blackthorn on (the late) Lipstick Jungle - he's the reason I watched the show, briefly (he was Dresden on the Dresden Files) but they always sort of neglected to mention him in any of the publicity about the show. Weird. They even did a 'What are they doing now' thing about the cast, and had little arrows going from their picture to what everybody was up to - except Paul Blackthorn! So I guess he's doing nuttin'.

Guys! I'm glad the Step kept your Dad from electrocuting himself mezz. Men have absolutely no sense about stuff! I swear women were put on this earth just to keep them from killing themselves doing stupid stuff. We had a leak in the office roof and it was going into the fluorescent light fixture on the ceiling. Water + electricity = bad combination!

Oh Wen you really had to put up with a lot with BOTH ultrasound tests. I can't do that 'holding' one - it's just way too painful/difficult. Hope the reports are good news/nothing bad.

Well, 'Wolverine' was a pre-quel, so the X-Men guys weren't really assembled yet, they were just kids/young. But Dom did have a power and he was on a special ops mutant team, who did some jobs for the evil Stryker guy (who was played by somebody else) and then disbanded. It's all silly comic book stuff anyway! Cute young guy from Friday Night Lights is in it too - he was some kind of card shark (Gambit) and had a stick and powers - funny thing was, they had Daniel Negranu, a professional poker player, as a cameo at the poker table - He's on all those Texas Holdem televised games, and Mr ML and my kids recognized him instantly when he came onscreen. Too funny (I wouldn't know him from Adam). Silly movie! But I guess I enjoyed it, to be still thinking about it.

I'm so psyched about the new 'Star Trek' movie! I hope it doesn't stink (they have made some stinkers in the past, esp the one they let Shatner direct - shudder).

Oh well, better stop chatting over the virtual backyard fence and get busy!
