| Great news that Jason has a new project!  Fearless Leader: Thank you!  Hoodie: I also am getting the feeling that Jason likes to choose projects which involve travel to interesting locations. The conflict, danger, island mysticism and a deadly spirit, type stuff also perhaps attracted Jason's interest. Does sound like this film has lots of possibilities. | Most movies made by Australians and New Zealanders are indie films. It'll be interesting seeing how well Jason can get a NZ accent going. (Not that he'll need it for the film but you can bet your cotton socks he'll be giving it a go.) __________________ | |||

| I think this:  is more along the lines of what we're hoping for rather than this:   If you're interested in the article where the picture came from, it's Tattoo History - Samoa/Tahiti Tatau.. Oh and Jason's name and the announcement of "The Tattooist" showed up over at Movie Web under casting news. Yea! | Great find, Val! I agree with Hoodie. I think Jason is choosing projects that will let him travel. I mean why not, I would too. To get paid to travel and see new and interesting things is my dream job (well, next to being a food writer - getting paid to eat  )I have a feeling if Jason does get a new tattoo he'll probably get an armband or one that goes over the shoulder. My friend's got a Samoan one that goes around his upper arm. | |||

| Thanks for the news Fearless! Good for Jason! I bet you guys are right about the travel being a big part of his decision to take on this role. Didn't he say one of the main reasons he took the role in The Grudge was for the opportunity to travel to Japan? I'm sure the idea of going to New Zealand and Singapore were major in his decision. Dominc M. can fill him in on all the New Zealand info he will ever need after spending years there filming the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Didn't we use to have regular poster here from Singapore? Sweet girl, her name is on the tip of my tongue. Guess I'll have to check the Obsessie roster to see if I can remember. I'm with MyrnaLynne and everyone else who said they hope he does not get more tattoos.
