I'm always one to say "I wish we had more behind-the-scene footage," although now I'm thinking be careful what you wish for.

Of course the rational part of me says it's each person's right to be with whomever they want to be with...no matter what anyone else thinks. Still doesn't make the thought of those two together any easier to take in...

Moving on,

I got into Roswell late so I had no clue Jason/KH dated. I do remember watching S2 and thinking there was something odd between them. Some of Jason's looks were no longer the brotherly type. Even their embraces seemed kinda fishy. It all made sense when I joined the boards and saw some of their couple-y pics. Was somewhat disappointed, but didn't care beyond that. They're only actors after all and grudgingly I had to admit they looked great together and seemed very happy. It was weird seeing Jason smiling so much though. I had gotten so used to broody-Max on Roswell.

Jason/KH doesn't really dampen the ML magic for me. Only enhances Jason and Shiri's unparalelled chemistry if anything. But, it does somewhat kill my rather long held BELIEF/FANTASY of something going on between them BTS

. Or maybe there was a triangle!

. Don't know how reliable it is(lies, most likely) but I have read stuff about there being tension between Jason and Shiri after S1.

Oh well...maybe never an actual couple, but I would do anything to see them work together again.

I agree. I found out in early S2 and watched their on-screen interaction like a hawk.

But yes, you're right. Even with Jason dating KH at the time, his chemistry with Shiri was still amazing to behold.

Sometimes I think the same thing when I see pics of Jason being goofy or smiley. Max was so darn serious all the time.

I've heard about the tension-rumors, too. But I prefer not to think about that stuff. And, I agree, nothing that happened BTS can ruin the onscreen magic between Max & Liz.

Well, atleast we know Jason and Shiri got along very well. I don't think their chemistry would've been so spectacular if they hated one another.

agree. Didn't Jason himself say it too?
He said that it was essential for him to be friends with his fictional partner otherwise no chemistry.

anyway I always loved Isabel and Max and i never saw any incestuous chemistry between them even when i knew that the actors were dating

maybe because i have a brother too so i really can't see anything wrong about siblings caring about each other. Then lovers are another thing and it was always obvious to me the huge difference between Max&Isabel and Max&Liz. I think that Jason and Katherine did a great work and i don't think that their personal life influenced the characters.
Max and Isabel (and Michael) were also living a "special" situation. They were family, they had no one for so long and the 3 of them shared a connection that i always liked. They were real. I'm not the biggest Isabel's fan but i always appreciated her affection for Max and Michael, i always understood it. I always understood her jealously toward Liz at the beginning and her fake coldness.

It's hard to believe how young they look in those pics. They look younger than they do in the pilot, I think.

I don't think I've actually seen those two before. I always kept thinking how I'd love to see more photos of Jason and Shiri out of character together...but there never seemed to be too many like that.

There are not nearly enough pics of them together from events, etc. I've only ever seen a handful, including the ones below. It's sad really.

The best ones ever, of course, are the BTS pics bigspam took during 4AAAB. I only wish we had more like that from other episodes.
