Honestly, she didn't bother me as apart of the group. She's the 4th alien, blah de blah. Whatever. It was when she started preaching her destiny crap and trying to get into Max's pants that I had a problem. She couldn't take no for an answer. How many different ways does a guy have to tell you he's not interested and is in love with someone else?

That's what I was going for. She was fine as part of the group as long as she left Max alone. Anyone could see that Max and Liz were head over heels for each other, even when they weren't together. And it's not like Max went racing into Tess' arms right after he saw Liz w/ Kyle. (although she did try and use that opportunity to get closer to him, grrr) But that didn't make him want Tess, it just made him sad

For every rift between Max and Liz in season two, Tess was right there like a little devil kissing Max's ass. Just manipulating his emotions. She stood beside him with her crocodile tears and watched his devastation over failing to revive Alex and pretended she cared when all along she was the killer. Ugh! What a cold-hearted bitch.

so GROSS. i even hate that scene more than the last one from too late too bad

Because Max was basically crying because he couldn't heal Alex and it was destroying him so that horrible woman pretended to comfort him (but she was just making him feel worse, she did it in too late and too bad too.Subtle) when SHE WAS THE ONE WHO KILLED ALEX AND SHE KNEW IT!!!! GOD!

really she had no heart... how she could still work for her plan after she killed Alex? his death helped her so much.

anyway, notice that Max wouldn't let her see his tears and when she tried to hug him he went away like if he didn't even notice it. She was there but from his body language it didn't seem to me that he was the one who went to her for comfort. The only one who was able to comfort him was Liz, he only cried in her arms and he always went to her. But sadly in that moment (when they both needed each other) they couldn't comfort each other.

He surely couldn't go to her and tell her that he was feeling bad because he couldn't save her friend :S i bet that he was feeling bad for her too, because he knew that Alex was her friend.. and he failed.

Oh, he definitely wanted to comfort Liz at that moment. And I think he would have if big mouth hadn't told him to go comfort Isabel

Since Liz was in no mood, she agreed.

Max saying Liz's name in that moment was so instinctive. She was the only person he was thinking of comforting.

But, since it's almost the anniversary, maybe one of the lines from the pilot would be fitting? Or like, "he risked everything because it was her."
