I think it's sweet she's encouraging people to watch it. Nick was too on Twitter. I watched it and wasn't too impressed but maybe that will change

It may be because I'm biased, but the chemistry just wasn't there for me. With any of the cast. That might change but I don't see it. They also shoved a lot into the episode. It made it feel rushed. I did like the way they made it it seem so current (immigration, border patrol) and I liked that they kept the names the same as in the books. And I like the music choices.

Thanks for the review. I’ll check it out but I’m really hoping it is more about alien/human love than politics or anything smacking of reality .... I get enough reality 😒
