Well, if Kadee gave him the hat, as was said earlier, then I'll cut him some slack for wearing it. The two of them seem to have similar senses of humor. That's very cool.

I hate that the reviews are harsh, but we did pretty much expect that. The movie was always about CGI and low on plot and dialogue. I hope at least, that it has a good opening weekend. That will make up a little for the reviews.

See, now I think that kind of hat is awful. It's too huge and not stylish enough.

I don't even want to read those reviews hurling insults at Jason. If they didn't like the movie, fine. But the personal attacks get to me.

See, the one he is wearing is too much like the hats my papa (grandfather on my mom's side) wore, so for me he looks like he's dressing like an old man. I gotta say, I prefer the wider brim hat.

Oh, Miranda, I sooooooooooo agree - those hats have to go... Did he inherit them from some deceased uncle or something? It's just not flattering at all. As far as I'm concerned, he needs to stick to ball caps and knitted caps.

I didn't think you'd miss him, Jen! I can't wait until that comes back on!

Yvonne! Awesome collection you've uploaded so far. Definitely one of my favorites!

my fav pic they're so gorgeous

thank you Yvonne

Jen i envy you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much
KaDee seems a real sweetheart and i must admit that now i like the hat lol

it seems that Jason gave her the t-shirt and then Kadee gave him the hat, that's cute
If i'm not wrong this hat is similar to the one i saw into a comics about D-war.
His character, "manga" version, had a hat like that but i can be wrong and i can't find the pic anymore

LOL, I am loving the 'battle of the hats'! Jason is extremely particular about what he wears, especially to public things, and I think his clothes always mean something to him/make a statement or at least are what all the cool guys are wearing at the moment. Looks like skinny neckties are back in. He has always been one of the few guys who looks really good in hats (even Army uniform hats on Roswell, which are hard to look good in). Even when he looks casual (or on very rare occasions, like a homeless guy) I think there is a lot of thought/Jason-ish reasons behind it.

I think the reason we all love KaDee so much is that she loves Jason as much as his fans do! If she weren't his wife, she'd be his #1 fan. Well, she's his wife AND his #1 fan, which is very sweet and how it should be. It's nice to know she truly admires and appreciates him and loves him for all his wonderful qualities - and vice versa! She is just the sweetest nicest gal and they are such a great and happy couple together.

Well reviews are bad. But people are flocking to the movie

Superbad (Sony) and the new Freestyle Releasing offering Dragon Wars finished 4-5 Friday, and those positions should hold for the weekend. The Judd Apatow-produced comedy added $1.6M to start the weekend, and it should reach $5.2M for the frame. The South Korean dragon spectacle delivered $1.5M on its opening day, and it’s headed for a $4.2M weekend

Fantasy Moguls Original Content: BRAVE ONE starts slow w/$4.8M Friday and targets a disappointing $15.1M weekend; YUMA holds strong w/$9.3M on 2nd weekend; WOODCOCK soft w/$2.6M & $7.54M O.W.; EASTERN PROMISES and ACROSS THE UNIVERSE open huge!

First relatively postive review I've seen...

SEPT. 15, The New York Times

Dragon Wars (2007)

A city under attack in "Dragon Wars.

Who Needs Plot When You’ve Got Dragons?
By ANDY WEBSTER
Published: September 15, 2007

If you’ve been missing Japanese monster movies, take heart. “Dragon Wars: D-War” (from South Korea actually) proves the genre quite alive. It is such a breathless, delirious stew, it’s impossible not to be entertained, provided — this is crucial — you have a sense of humor.

Hmmm, exposition. O.K. Centuries ago in Korea there were giant serpents called Imoogi. A bad one, Buraki, had armored troops. A girl, Narin, had this glowing bubble, the Yuh Yi Joo, which turns Imoogi into dragons. But she and her lover-protector, Haram, sacrificed themselves without giving it up.

Deep breath. In Los Angeles an eruption suggests something big has awakened, something cranky. When Ethan Kendrick (Jason Behr) finds out, he recalls being taught as a child by the mystic Jack (Robert Forster) that he is Haram reincarnated. Narin is now Sarah Daniels (Amanda Brooks). Exhale.

Got all that? Good, because once Baraki starts to boogie, “Dragon Wars” rocks. Bulcos, winged carnivores, munch on iron-rich helicopters. References to Ray Harryhausen and Toho productions fly. One sequence evokes “King Kong,” but with heat-seeking missiles. The seams in effects and dialogue glare, but lend charm.

Baraki eats elephants, but he can’t outrun cars, which lets Ethan and Sarah reach New Mexico for a “Godzilla”-like rumble between Imoogi. “We’ll see each other again,” says Sarah to Ethan after the bout. Hoo-boy. Batten the hatches.

“Dragon Wars: D-War” is rated PG-13 (Parents strongly cautioned). Bulcos were harmed during the making of the picture.
Thanks for the pics, Yvonne! I have these two without the watermark...

Thanks Area51

Thanks for the review! And a decent one from New York Times no less. That's impressive.

We're close to a new thread...any title suggestions?
