Do we have a brand new thread going on here? :look:

Well thanks Ekua

Sorry to have been so MIA....as I said before I left I was helping Walter watch the kids starting Thursday-Sunday and then I got SO sick. Still am....probably the flu. Running a fever for days and coughing tons :( too sick to even get on my laptop but a little better today. Ugg I'm probably the last person to get the flu this year :P

Ekua 04-12-2018 01:34 PM

We do :)

Sorry you’re sick Podmom! I hope you feel better soon. Positive vibes your way. You know I’ve never had flu....! Hopefully I’ve not jinxed it!

I got a new job working as a kindergarten teacher. It’s not what I want....but for now it’s a job. Trying to heal.

podmom 04-12-2018 04:37 PM

Thanks for the vibes Ekua

Wow that is so strong of you!!!! Gosh I am proud of you dear heart  you are something. I will pray that this school is better than the last and that things go well. Very fortunate bunch of little kids :)

I'm slpwly getting better...still a slight fever and bad cough though :P

Ekua 04-13-2018 12:14 PM

Thank you.....it’s pre-school so very different. I’m trying hard to be positive but it’s difficult....still trying to process everything and accept things. I have 3 years to get my teaching license for primary school so will try again soon.

Let those little preschoolers heal your heart and I know you will be stronger from all this and do great next time. I still stand by my opinion that the school let you down not the other way around

Hang in there

Ekua 04-14-2018 01:19 PM

Thank you my dear  You are so very kind and your words definitely help! Everything happens for a reason I guess.

I’m going to start yoga classes next week too....:)

podmom 04-15-2018 09:41 AM

Yoga....brilliant! I took yoga classes eons ago in my early 20s and I loved it. I still have the book I got then and still remember the pose I think it was called the sun prayer or something...a main one....anyway you will like it and it will really help your core!!

exercise is great for everyone

 I'm awful but I couldn't resist that one

Ekua 04-15-2018 01:26 PM

I used to do it all the time in Bangkok; I loved it. It’s expensive here but I figured I can allow it if it helps me emotionally! And physically :)

Good medicine

It must be working already...you were mellow about the cats ;) :)

Ekua 04-16-2018 12:58 PM

I took the highroad on that one ;)

Yesterday I heard about this new thing called Laugh Yoga, you do yoga and laugh! Apparently really helps with your mood.

You are a guru :)

aubie that yoga sounds kookie and interesting  I love to laugh so I might love it.

Ekua 04-18-2018 01:21 PM

That sounds bizarre Aubie but fun!!

Now there’s yoga with puppies apparently...that I’m all for!

I heard there's baby goat yoga too -you exercise and baby goats walk around you!

My sister-in-law Barbara taught kindergarten and preschool for years and years here in my town and liked it very much.

I loved yoga; I quit it when I got my dog, thinking I'd get enough exercise walking him  I really need to go back to that! It's so good for you. I got some videos but we really don't have room in my crowded house to spread out and exercise near the TV.

The new baby royal is coming any time now, heir #3. And Saturday is the Queen's birthday - she's 92. What an amazing woman - she's been Queening since she was in her 20s. What a gal. President Bush's wife/mother just passed away -she was also a pretty great lady. And married to the same guy for ~73 years! She met him when she was 16 or so and 'love at first sight' - lucky them!
