 girls about the Monday blahs aubie have you seen the longer version of the trailer for the B&T show? It is so good it will be such a shame for it to not happen  Ekua uh oh those mouthy kids do they tell you not to do the turn off the light thing nowadays? Little ones like that used to be really affected by positive reinforcement....like " Madison I love how quietly you are sitting!" but kids might be way too sophisticated and spoiled for that to work any more  It is tough the first week....you and they will have hit your stride by this time next week hang in there!these will perk you both up    __________________

Yeah it's bizarre now how they teach these days. I wonder if it is making a difference. The whole positive reinforcement instead of negative. I feel like kids these days are a little too sensitive too.

Glad the teaching is going well so far Ekua, if exhausting. Kids that age have a lot to say!
 Back from trip #1, a month until trip #2 (nephew's wedding). Every day this week has felt like Monday blahs.  __________________

Aubie I agree....you're not going to be good at everything you do and I think it's important to teach kids it's okay to fail and to make mistakes. And if a kid is really misbehaving then I think it's okay to tell them their behaviour is not acceptable. All these idiots making stupid rules who have probably never set foot in a classroom and realised what it's like in reality....

It's Friday!!! Thank god! I'm exhausted.  A week of work left next week and then I'm off on vacation! Can't wait! Any plans this weekend? And have fun on your trip 2 ML!! And hopefully today feels like a Friday for you! __________________
