we have a snow day here two....well schools open 2 hours late here which means my bible study is cancelled so I am still in my PJs too it is 8:38 AM in my world

Yay to snow days! It's snowing here today but not supposed to be too much, and then warm up toward the weekend.


My brother should be leaving for the airport (and on to California) from his hotel soon. Great to see him, nice to spend some time with him, but I find being around him exhausting.


In brighter news (for me), my son's flight home today was cancelled because of big ice storm in Texas, and the flights tomorrow sold out fast, so he can't leave until Friday morning! I get him here two extra days

I'm probably not as busy as Ekua, but I get overwhelmed super fast.

And now, I'll be even more overwhelmed because we just adopted a dog!

I'm exhausted! The dog is adorable, but I don't know. I'm so tired I can't think anymore.

I just got done the batch of chocolate cookies I will be taking to my grandkids tomorrow....if I don't take a home made bake good they are disappointed. I love doing it

Podad has the flu I am trying hard to not get it. Even got face masks and gloves for when I have to go into kitchen. He is in the family room and I'm in the living room and sleeping in the farthest bedroom because I don't want to get it mostly because I was supposed to meet Emily and go to NJ next weekend to meet with builder and cabinet person etc to finalize selections and now that weekend is out ( pregnant women to avoid the flu especially in 2nd trimester) and if I get it the next weekend is out ( one is contagious 5 or so days after symptoms. Very frustrating ...plus I haven't even gotten to see her since she started to show

Podmom I will.....there's no guarantee i'll get to teach the same stage every year...i guess somethings will work for all stages though....

I am so exhausted I have hardly slept or ate all week. And I have interviews next week and application forms to fill out (with a week notice!) and planning and.....I just want to sleep.

I might be a little MIA for a few days. Emily onher way here for the night then we go to the beach house to meet with all the selections ppl...cabinet ,rugs etc after that I will be going to Liz Sunday ( Em will head back to DC) to watch the super bowl and stay a couple of days because I haven't seen those kids and the baby for over a week way too long!!! It was because we had had the flu then I didn't want to catch something from those snotty kids so I couldn't see Emily. I'll try to post from my phone though

I'm back!

Yes my pup was a handful to a point that we gave him away to my MIL who then also thought he was a handful so now we're taking him back this Friday and seeing how things go.

I think we are calling the rescue place and seeing if they can find him a better home who have more space and more patience.

I have just been so stressed with the drama it caused these past few weeks, my brain hurts sometimes. And I've been having crazy dreams that I can't remember but I wake up exhausted!

Give the dog back....I am old enough to know if this has been the scene it will be better for him and for sure you guys to get him back to the place while he is still young enough to get another family sorry it has been so stressful plus we need your sunny self here and especially now that we have some exciting news that will be therapy for your trauma

I was waving just to say hi but it is always so hectic at Lizs with 3 kids I don't get time then I am pooped by the time they are all in bed.

I am home today....stayed with Liz from Sunday till yesterday evening back again tomorrow till Friday afternoon when I then leave for a weekend ladies retreat with my church so I might be MIA again so posting a lot today we had ice so no bible study again which was fine. Our heater broke Sunday night and it only got fixed today. Good thing we had some firewood..not much but it was good to come home to a lovely fire podad had all day to keep from freezing. brrr.
