I’m currently on a Thai island, spending my days reading on the beach/by the pool and my evenings in little beach bars...bliss! Hope everyone is well  __________________

Have a safe nice trip aubie 6 hours is very long
 I hope you have fun  Ahh you are home for a "wee" bit Ekua I'm sure your mum sis and niece are so excited  I am recouping from a long busy time with kids and grands. We were SO fortunate with the weather and especially the ocean. As you know ,I'm sure ,the ocean is very fickle.....we have had beach pumping 3 years ago ( they pump sand from out in the ocean to the beach to make them bigger. I hate it!)....Makes for nasty broken shelly sand and a drop off at the edge of the beach which makes high tide run up to that drop off so unless super calm makes it harder to swim and impossible to body surf because you will run into the sand . BUT we had a miracle of new moon and no winds. The water was crystal clear and very calm. Baby Margot could frolic at the edge. The 3 older grands had so much fun swimming and boogie boarding and being with us grownups in the floaters( swells past the break) The water temp was warm too. So we had some perfect beach days which we don't usually get. So grateful. Podad and I went to the beach today and left without swimming.....rough...high tide...murky....made me even more grateful for the conditions we did have with the kids! Missing all the people but good to rest too. We will stay through weekend then back to reality....dentist appointment for me then leaving the 20th for Maine..visiting with podads sister and bro inlaw who have a summer place there. Nice to have time to catch up here on FF!!!!! __________________

Yes I’m home for a few weeks...going super fast though!
 It’s the Edinburgh Fringe Festival right now (huge month long arts festival, comedy, plays, music etc from all over the world) so it’s insanely busy!Your beach time sounds wonderful Podmom! I’d so love to live close to the ocean! Happy you’ve had some lovely weather too, hope it continues! __________________

We leave OC tomorrow. All rested up. Have had good weather and ocean times the past couple of days. Hard to leave it's so pretty. Sorry to be really MIA :O I will catch up some today and when I get home. xxoo __________________

Thank you Podmom! It’s fun but everywhere is crazy busy! The old town is packed every day, you can hardly move! As a local it’s not so fun, haha!
Every night there’s a show in the grounds of Edinburgh Castle called The Tattoo (bands from all over the world performing), it’s very popular. Glad you enjoyed your trip __________________
