We were talking about Disney, Hogmanay and travel!:D


MyrnaLynne I had no idea about Hogmanay being less celebrated; i've not come across that. As far as i'm aware it's still a pretty big holiday. The first and second of January are holidays and people usually spend them going to visit family and friends; normally for more drinks and food

I went to Disney in Florida years ago - must be over 20 years ago now! We rented a villa with my cousins; it was a lot of fun! I'd love to go back....maybe with my own kids one day....here's hoping!

Yes my mum and also my dad loved to travel. I was very lucky growing up to have been taken on lots of holidays all over the world. I've had some incredible experiences which i'm very grateful for. Still so much on my list though, including Antarctica - the last continent I have left to visit!

I went to a karaoke room last night with a few friends....so much fun! Even though I have an awful voice! :lol:

our big thrill was seeing the super moon and it's eclipse last night. The cold front blew in so the sky was clear( and really cold) it helped we could watch it not only from outside during the eclipse but our foyer up hi window was the perfect venue :) it did get redish when the eclipse was total.

Anyone else see it?

I didn't see the moon, but in the morning the moon was really bright and I had it was blood orange or something that night.

Ohhh karaoke sounds fun!! Trying to get friends together to snowshoe this weekend and it's a complete bust, looks like it will be just me and the hubby again.

I didn’t either....it was pretty huge and bright tonight but that’s it!!

After being frigid cold yesterday with wind chill that made it feel like -30 today is 6 degrees and raining! So all the snow for snowshoeing will melt! :rolleyes:

I don't know. The area we're going to might still have snow...so hopefully it does snow between now and Saturday. But yeah, around my area right now, I can see grass poking out. :(
