I always thought Tim was just moving his helmet but it looks like he is giving her nod with it. Cute. They had just fought earlier that day. In the script there was another scene at night that was cut. It kind of explains why Tim tried to ask her about Calculus.

I'll have to read the scripts more carefully I couldn't find where they previously talked about the calculus test that she had.

I always kind of saw that scene with Tim with the head nod was both of them kind of acknowledging each other and wanting to celebrate but couldn't type of deal. I don't think we saw them together after she stormed out of his room and I guess that was kind of a way to show that it wasn't over...which they kind of gloss over into the next episode until Lyla comes to his house to tell her it needs to stop.

Lyla was at Tim's house the night before and they didn't talk. So when he asked her about her test that was him trying to get her to talk.

That whole Mexico situation was just wrong and out of place for the storyline. I'm all for a Mexican 3-way from time to time, but not between those three.

I don't think they had a three way at all. I thought the Mexico trip was closure on the triangle from season 1. Those 3 were never in the same scene after 1x10, until the Mexico thing.
