It's a serious flight for sure. You'll need the good drugs for sure. :)

Y'all can't go at the same time! That's my only stipulation.

PBS ran a documentary American Masters on Laura Ingalls Wilder last night. I'm sure they will rerun or stream it somewhere. Maybe ON DEMAND.

Someone who knowingly tested positive and is positive came into work and is "isolating" in their office while continuing to work. That's not how it works, you have to walk through shared space, use shared bathrooms, just staying in your office isn't acceptable. And half the people in the office just don't care to say "you can't be here" because they've already had it.

It's so frustrating. I hated that I had to be there to finish some things after finding out they tested positive.

I started watching The Murders at White House Farm last night on HBO,Max I wasn't sure about it not knowing anything about it but it's really good so far and sad considering it's a true story. Fellow True Crime lovers, I think it's worth checking out.

what?!? Someone tested positive and went in to work? That’s so irresponsible! Ugh. I hate that for you.

Kiki, I would love to see the that special.

OM ordered something, from a local company, that was 20.00 in shipping. They told her she could pick it up instead. 2 hours, a 1/4 tank of gas, and 30 bucks for dinner ( bc I was hungry and ready to eat) later... SHE saved 20 dollars.

I'm super pissed about it. I have to wake up super early to get in there before they do to do a few things I HAVE to do in office. My boss texted me and said he got that I wouldn't be in there when they were and he didn't agree with what they were doing, but also wasn't going to say anything. It's so dumb. I don't care if you're asymptomatic. You tested positive.

Duke had to go to the vet today for his last kitten shot. He's almost 6 pounds, which means he's basically as big as Nellie is at 4 months old...Nellie is 9 months old. I think he's going to be a beast.

What is the difference between HBO Max and HBONow??? Is there a difference???

So looking forward to these four days off - I've been working so much this week. Looking forward to a night in tonight and a long motorcycle ride over the weekend.

What is everyone else doing for the New Year?????

worthyoflove 12-31-2020 10:15 AM

I don't think HBONow still exists? I'm pretty sure that when HBOMax launched it absorbed both HBONow and HBOGo. I had HBOGo because I had an HBO subscription through my cable provider. HBO Now was the previous streaming service for those that wanted to just stream HBO instead of getting it through their provider. HBO Max is now the official streaming service of HBO and has some unique programing that is not available on just regular HBO cable network, you have to access it through HBO Max.

My best friend is coming over and we're ordering pizza or tacos or something and binging something, have no idea what yet and doing absolute nothing. And then I plan to do nothing tomorrow, but I do really need to empty out my old dresser into my new dresser and get it, somehow, downstairs and out into the garage...it's SO heavy, not sure how I'm going to do this.

elherts 12-31-2020 02:28 PM

HBO Max is the only streaming system now. I'm confused by Starz. I used to have the channel and now you need a subscription. My bill certainly didn't go down.

I'm not doing anything tonight. I was going to go to my parents for dinner and then bounce to a few houses that were going to do the fire-pit thing, but its raining. My parents still want me to come over but I am not. It just doesn't seem worth it. Plus, I don't feel like doing my hair and putting on real clothes. :)

Riggins will be so much bigger than Charley! He's already her size and she's almost 2 years old. He's 8 months!

I think HBO Max replaced NOW.

We have no plans this evening. We have a game night with our friends tomorrow night.

Y'all! Austinites cannot handle rain or cold. The world was crazy today! It took over 45 minutes to get through the line at the bank. On Monday I had three packages of chicken that got left off my order. I noticed it yesterday (while we were on our "adventure" for OM), and went to get it today. OVER an HOUR! It took 45 minutes just to get through the parking lot and get to the curbside area to park. I called the store manager to let him know it was so bad. There were several near misses. I was afraid there was going to be an accident. It was crazy! In total it took 2.5 hours to run two errands. Whackadoodle! 2020 go away!

I'm excited for the new year. I realize we get a do-over each day, but it's nice to take a minute to reflect on what we've survived and how we want to continue to improve and make better.

Happy New Year! I just had a friend over and we binged TV all night and ordered pizza.

I ordered brunch today and they ran out of taco shells for my breakfast tacos and had to make me a burrito instead, oh well, still good.

We're just watching football now this game isn't going to be good with ND down by 14 already.

I went to my brother's in-laws (who live right down the road from me) and we were watching the game. Apparently there is a guy that plays for Alabama that the Eagles are hoping for. My brother, SNL, and nephew went there for dinner. I didn't eat because I didn't feel comfortable getting close or taking my mask off. Her parents are in their 80s. Scoobs loves their house because they live in an open ranch and he can run full speed throughout the house. lol Stopped and picked up some corn chowder on the way home.

Finished The Queen's Gambit. I would watch another season if there is one. Somehow they made chess sexy. Totally reminded me of Mad Men. Same time period and the story line is so simple, yet bizarre.

Happy New Year!

We played cards and board games to ring in the year. We stayed up way too late.

Breakfast tacos in Michigan have crunchy shells? Breakfast tacos here are made with a soft flour tortilla.

It’s been a great 2021 so far!

elherts 01-01-2021 11:25 PM

I can honestly say I have never had a breakfast taco, but I think they have soft tortillas.
