Thanks, but I really am not happy that its my birthday. I'm having trouble with the getting old thing because I certainly don't feel or act my age.

Sunday I had dinner and cake with family, Monday my friends, and today my colleagues. I can't eat another thing, especially cake or Valentine's candy. I have to get through tomorrow at school. This weekend, I am going to AC... then Detox.

We did taco Tuesday tonight so right now I don't know if I can even eat that in your honor.

The paczki is a polish thing, it's big here in Detroit and I think the midwest, it's a Fat Tuesday tradition. It's basically a glorified jelly filled donut but it's huge.

This is the point in the winter where I start to feel like actual **** and need to start detoxing too. I feel like that bag of milk, everything is so pale and not tight.

So AC? I assume that's Atlantic City, do you go to gamble? We have some casinos downtown but I've only gambled down there a few times, but they have great clubs and spas so we've done some birthdays down there.

Same. I mostly just do the slots a little. We go for the party atmosphere, clubs, spa, and in the summer, the beach and boardwalk. There are a lot of concerts there too. I actually have only been a few times. It's over 2 hours away.

Someone brings in paczki every year from the Polish neighborhood not too far from work. There are actual lines at the bakeries to buy them. Even the grocery stores sell them here. They're big enough to cut in half. They're too doughy for me. I'd rather just have a regular donut.

I forgot to mention that I had a Taylor-adjacent dream last night. J.Lo was buying his old condo and Neil was fixing it up for her. I was there just hanging out. LOL It was sooo weird. Taylor never showed up.

Yeah they sell paczkis here at Kroger, but if you want the genuine ones you have to go to a Polish market or down to Hamtramck. But I'm not about waiting in line for something like that. The big thing the last few years are coney dog paczki's. I think they look disgusting but people eat them.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes all. I still stuffed my face with chocolates today and am going out for ribs tonight.

I'm about to text my friend who is Polish about this paczki goodness. If she doesn't know, then it's a midwest thing.

I think I had a dream about Taylor too. Can't remember though.

I'm back to dealing with the stupid sinus/vertigo issue. Only positive is that it makes me so nauseous I don't want to eat.

I don't want to say I'm sick, because outside of feeling light headed, dizzy, I'm good. It's totally a sinus issue...or according to Webmd, a probable brain tumor.

I haven't had ribs in awhile. My favorite rib place is about a half hour away and I'm too lazy to go all the way over there very often.
