I will be! Most of them are "fan encounters" Though a few are with one of the other Navy SEALS families that died during Operation Red Wings.

I had to go and quote this little part about Marcus talking about his friendship with Taylor. It really struck me.

Quote:
“The reason we’re as close as we are, Mike Murphy was one of my best friends. My brother. We lived our lives together up to the point on that mountain and I didn’t get to come off that mountain with him. I went back to the mountain with him, Taylor Kitsch, and he turned into Mike Murphy. That’s who I came off with and all the memories I’ve made forward with him are the same memories I would have made with Mikey (Murphy). That’s why he’s so close to me….he has my love, the same love I had for Mikey.”
I love that they're so close.

I love that they're so close.

That's a lovely way for him to think about things.

I thought that was so sweet!
I love that Taylor said the next project was the movie of Marcus’ childhood.

I had to think about that quote for awhile. When I heard him say it I kind of was put off because I was thinking ... "He's only friends with him because he played Michael?" I think it's much deeper than that. But after thinking, I guess he didn't really mean it like that.

He sometimes gets wordy but I kind of equated it to, Taylor was introduced into Marcus' life because of Mike. He's not a replacement but he was someone that he could bond with over the event, I'm sure it was a bit of a healing/cathartic process for Marcus. But I don't think it's superficial at all, Marcus was close with all the actors but you don't really see him have a relationship with any of the other actors like he does Taylor.

He was joking. But I guess at the first service he mentioned that he was only doing character driven parts. I guess that leaves out Batman????

Yeah I caught that...I don't think Batman slots into a character driven role. But he mentioned they were back to doing more character driven parts.

Marcus just talked a bit about his early life in both services' and Taylor made the joke that they would be doing that movie next...just joking, but Marcus' early life is super interesting too, it wouldn't make a bad movie.

He was joking because Marcus was saying about his father being a real life outlaw

I assume Marcus' dad passed away, but yeah, he said the first man he ever saw shot was his father.

I remember being super interested in how he and his brother were trained by their neighbor when they were super young to prepare them for the SEALS. I mean really it's the beginning of the book Lone Survivor, that book could be like three movies...

Well, I mean good rom com could be a really good character piece. But I don't think he'd ever do a straight rom com any way, it would have to have a twist.
