Friday Night Lights OT Thread #9: Because We Just Can't Leave Dillon Behind
The all encompassing Friday Night Lights thread to discuss any and all actors from the show and just the show in general because even though it's been 10-years since it premiered it remains one of the most beloved shows out there. And even we sometimes have to admit the show was about more than just Tim Riggins.
"Inspired by the legendary Buzz Bissinger book Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, and a Dream, and the 2004 Peter Berg movie based on it, FNL told the story of a high school football coach from Dillon, Texas, whose improbable victories mirrored those of the critically beloved — but disastrously rated — show itself. In an era when sports television was supposedly at its nadir, when elite storytelling was supposedly only the work of prestige outlets like HBO and AMC, Friday Night Lights emerged as the quintessential show about American spirit and uplift at a time when the moral and economic bedrock of our Country seemed most in doubt. Gone too soon. Appreciated too little. Treasured by those who followed it. That was Friday Night Lights." -Grantland Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Couldn't Lose - An Oral History of Friday Night Lights |

I LOVE the episode with Tim and Landry but I don't know if it could be top ten overall. Top 10 Tim episode for sure.
I'm actually going to do my top 10 Tim episodes, which is SO hard, in the Tim thread. I'm already cheating. |

Kyle missed out on the Venice Film Festival but he's in Toronto for TIFF with the cast.

I just saw there's a new film coming to Netflix US on Friday that Connie Britton is in. It's called the Land of Steady Habits and it stars Ben Mendelssohn who played Kyle's brother Danny in Bloodline. I don't know anything else about it but the ad came up when I was browsing Netflix earlier so I gave it a quick Google.

My other wife... haha
I'm not going to watch AHS since Evan doesn't have a huge role. I will watch it afterwards when I can fast forward through all the scary parts. lol __________________

That first season is very scary/creepy, but that's the only season I've watched so I have nothing to compare it to.
Kyle looks so young here: |

I didn't know Jacinda Barrett was in it. I can't look at her without remembering when she was on The Real World. I like her though.
