I think she's just leaving because she's taking on this show with Eric Bana. Doesn't have time for both and SMILF.

Earlier articles said she'd only signed for one season, but that after the show's success they were hoping she'd return as a recurring character. Guess not. Bummer. I'll still watch for now, but I'm kind of meh about Jennifer Love Hewitt.

It's not bad. Connie's character was a central one though. Weird she would just stay for one season. It's about first responders, she played a dispatch operator. It's a little over the top, but oldest minion and I already said we won't watch it without Connie. This is why I HATE watching shows as that are new in real time. I've invested into the first season, and now there's nowhere to go. I usually like to see two or three seasons get under something before i commit. That said, oldest minion and I are LOVING The Resident with Rory Gilmore's boyfriend Logan (Matt Czurchy). Fantastic!!

Honestly, I think Connie is better than a show like 9-1-1, so I'm not surprised she's not continuing on with it. Also, I don't know what Ryan Murphy's involvement is moving forward considering he just signed that giant Netflix deal and I'm sure he's probably a big reason she considered doing the project in the first place.

If I'm not still elbow deep in joint compound this evening I might check this out. Regardless of the reviews I'm sure it's still a good watch and Michael's performance (both of them) I'm sure is worth the watch.

I hate when a project isn't great. I always feel so bad for the actors. That's a really well known book... I'm surprised it's not a good adaptation.

I saw on IndieWire Emmy predictions, they have Michael Shannon, and Michael B. Jordan... not even a whisper of Taylor.

I just got Beautiful Boy by David Shef from the library. That's next up, if I ever have time.
