A town that lives on football, Jason is lucky they're not run out of town, right or wrong. I feel bad about the whole situation.

Yeah - its that whole football thing that's a bit inflated in this show. Most people would not be that rude but for the story, it works I guess.

I get that they need money, but to sue coach outright seems wrong. Also, I think you can’t sue him directly. I’m pretty sure there’s a clause that says you can sue the district, but not an individual school or teacher.

He does say they're covered by the school, but I guarantee there is something that every one of those players signed before the season started about being liable for injuries during games/practice etc. They'd have to prove negligence, which I guess in essence is what they're doing.
