We have witnessed him prep before and usually he's just in Austin a lot because he's training for whatever role. He does become a bit of a recluse but nothing really out of the ordinary. Granted when he was prepping for 2012 he was always in the midst of filming something else. Prep for True Detective, he had a year off, he spent some time in LA but usually he was just in Austin or it seemed that way.

Do you think he's hiding on purpose? Do you think he gets noticed often in public? I feel like he would just blend, especially without the long hair.

No, I really don't think he's hiding on purpose. Avoiding places that he might think he's being more recognized, maybe. But I think he's probably in LA more often where he does blend. Also, I think he must be trying to be more incognito when traveling because it's been forever since we've had an airport sighting and that was one of the more frequent fan encounter spots in Austin.

I think he's mentioned that he is more recognized with the long hair because people automatically recognized him as Riggins.

I just think he's probably like maybe wearing a hat.

Unless he has someone that he knows that has a jet to just hop on whenever, flying private is not cheap, like thousands of dollars a pop each time. And the way he travels I just can't see it.

I'm not sure about the celeb terminal at LAX but I think that was coming in a few years.

The Us item said he was in Santa Monica at lunch during a ride with friends. If only they hadn't cropped it so tight, we could see which friends! Does "Buddy" ride?
