Matt Davis was in Vampire Diaries right? I like him too. I think he's married to Rachel Lee Cook.
But yeah, he maybe hasn't heard of it, but then again maybe he has, there aren't a ton of hockey movies and it was kind of a hockey movie. He's the right age for it to have been on his radar. |

Yes and no. He was in Vampire Diaries; he played Alaric. Daniel Gilles, who played Elijah is married to Rachel Lee Cook. Daniel and Paul Wesley are super close 'in real life.'

I would think so too. I don't know it just seems like a movie he'd see because it involved a hockey player, but maybe not. Who knows. I hope he's seen it, it's a fabulous movie.
Seven was on last night before I went to bed and I would love to see Taylor do something like that. |

I think he's seen the Cutting Edge too. Now the question is, did he like it or think it's just a chick flick. Haha.
I totally agree about Seven. Something dark and edgy, and also a sort of game-changer in whatever genre it's in. I'll never forget Seven, and can always spot when a movie or series is trying to imitate it. Like The Matrix and sci-fi movies. |

I think he's seen The Cutting Edge because it involves hockey and for awhile it was on constant rotation on cable.

So it officially was announced they're remaking Top Gun. It was mentioned that one of the directors of Granite Mountain is in the running to direct the remake. Taylor's name has been floated around....

Nah. It's such an iconic '80s movie, the "sequel" will feel like a money grab and a rehash. Which it is. And Tom Cruise's attempt to stay relevant. Which it also is. Plus, I don't see him and Tom Cruise having chemistry, to be honest. And I don't want him anywhere near Scientology. They're all about "positivity" on the surface, which might appeal to Taylor because he's such a naturally positive person. He's smart, but they're evil.
He would look damn good in that uniform, though. |

I'm hoping he stays far away from this.
Did anyone watch the remake of Dirty Dancing? I did not, but I heard it was terrible. __________________

I forgot to record it. But yeah, the reviews I saw were pretty bad.

Dirty Dancing is one of my all-time favorite movies so I couldn't bring myself to watch the remake.

I don't remember when or where I first saw it. I do remember that I bought both soundtracks and played them repeatedly. I have a love-hate relationship with "She's Like the Wind." Haha. It's sooo cheesy -- yet I can't help but start singing along the second it comes on.
