It's all about money to them and I guess they're thinking it'll cost more to release a set compared to the money people would use to buy it

Well most people in the UK will be largely unaware of it as it hasn't aired on a network or streaming service or anything. It's such a shame. . .

I assume it aired in Canada as well but I'm not even sure about that. But outside of Australia and now Spain, it hasn't been viewed outside of the US.

This is a collection of clips from the news as the siege was happening (this is the day OF the siege) After having seen the miniseries it's haunting to know that there are every day people in there (albeit not all model citizens) Quote:

I don't really know what their aim was, or if it's still just a matter of finding partnering networks globally to air their original content. But as far as US ratings went for Waco, it was on par with the Versace series.
I just think it's really been hamstrung by being on a new network that didn't have their ducks in a row re: streaming, distribution through streaming locally and internationally. Why not just give in and put it on Hulu or Netflix...that is what I don't understand. |

Yeah all of that stuff is more trouble than it is to figure it all out, with more and more steaming services, licensing and ownership for that stuff is going to get more complicated

I can't even begin to pretend I understand the inner workings of deals with streaming services. I think I read that it was going to cost Netflix $100 million to keep Friends on for another year after the absolute uproar that it was being taken off at the beginning of 2019.

Netflix is dropping Family Guy too. My nephew is devastated.

I'm still bummed that he wasn't nominated for anything. I kind of blame Paramount. If this series was on HBO or even Netflix I think they put a better push behind Taylor for a nomination. What is Paramount even doing right now as far as original content goes? Have they given up already?
