We have to meet a weekly minimum requirement for posting in order to keep the board open, that's just to keep the entire forum active and current. Like Friday Night Lights used to have its own forum (you can find it in the Archive section) but when the show ended and Taylor got his own board the posts slowed down and that forum was closed.

So we have to meet a weekly requirement of an average of 12 posts per day. We also have to make sure that the board does not go inactive for longer than 48 hours. If we do not have an average of 12 posts per day or the board goes inactive for longer than 48 hours we get a warning, if it happens again we're put on a "probation" of sorts and if the requirements are not met during that time the board is automatically closed down.

So this thread is just to keep members up to date on where we stand and how things are going. Prior to 2014 there was just me (before I was a mod) and the mod who kept this thing afloat and it was tough sledding. It's much better now and more active.

Hi, I know you explained this to me above and I understand why it's done, but can I just check. Does the 913 mean how many posts in May and the 29.45 mean the daily average? And what does the 114 mean? Is that the position of the TK forum out of all of the forums together?

So every month they'll give us our average, so you're correct. We have an average post count of 29.45 posts a day in the month of May, 913 posts overall and we're ranked 114th out of 194 boards.

If you go to the very first post of this thread you'll see a breakdown over the years of post counts by month.
