The all encompassing Friday Night Lights thread to discuss any and all actors from the show and just the show in general because even though it's been 10-years since it premiered it remains one of the most beloved shows out there. And even we sometimes have to admit the show was about more than just Tim Riggins.

Funny, when I was looking at Taylor's friend Will's instagram, I noticed that he just posted a picture a few days ago with Michael B. Jordan, small world. I also almost didn't recognize Michael with the longer hair.

It's funny that you say he seems to have a wide group of friends. From his podcast, it seems like Will does, but just today I was thinking the exact opposite about Taylor himself. Emmanuelle was on Entourage, which Mark Wahlberg produced and Pete guest-starred on a couple times. It's like all of Taylor's friends are somehow interconnected. And the people we always see him hanging with are all the same "bro" type. No women, or schlubby guys, or gay guys, or people of color. This shouldn't bother me, but it does. Granted, we don't know anything about his life except what we see in photos. I just think people miss out on a lot if they're insular.

I mis-phrased my post, Miles Teller's girlfriend who is friends with Nina/Chace also liked the video Chace posted of Taylor and Chace at the hockey game.

When Taylor was asked about gay marriage being legalized he was super supportive and reference his gay friends. So he has them, I'm sure. He went to support Jonathan Groff when he was on Hamilton, I just think that we don't see a lot of who his every day friends are. The friends we do see him with are usually the ones that are more public with social media, his hockey friends or his navy seal friends, etc.

I don't think we can really judge his friendships when we only see what's on social media and paparazzi. I'm trying to think of my closest friends. We are all similar age, similar interests etc. I guess that's what draws us to one another. One of my best friends is gay. A few of my closest colleagues are a lot younger than me. So I guess I have a variety of friends. I'm sure he does too. My favorite people to hang out with though are my niece and nephew who are teenagers. What does that say about me? haha
