I know. I love reading fan encounters like that and it was nice to read how respectful she and her husband were. She said it was several years ago, I'd guess maybe 2008 or 2009. She said it was on a flight to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

 Matthew always seems to respond well to respectful fans. The handful of moaners when he was doing the play seemed to be the ones with an attitude problem and inflated expectations, judging by what they said in their accounts of meeting him. People who were really pushy and demanding pics, or just randomly stopping him in the street, etc. |

Yes, I've seen quite a few fans who always seem to believe that celebs owe them something and need to drop everything, no matter where they are or what they're doing, just to give them an autograph or take a pic. It's ridiculous. They're not a puppet who belongs to you. Exactly, if you approach Matthew or any other celeb in a respectful way, they usually respond in a positive manner. I've seen a few videos where Matthew commented on how polite the fans were being. He doesn't like rude people, how can anyone blame him for that? It's ridiculous.

 So true. I've read stories from fans who sent him fan mail and photos to autograph and they said he signed as many as 20 photos for them and personalized them if they asked him to. |

He was like that with the play. A lot of the people who used to post on here took multiple things to be signed, and he was happy to sign everything. And he always took the time to check that he was spelling people's names correctly. |

 Btw: I always hoped someone recorded his London play. but I guess noone did  (I meant even if officially, not sneaky) What a shame! it was SOOOOO good <3__________________

That's new for me too. I've seen a lot of other pics from when he was in Monaco but not that one. I presume it was taken at some kind of reception hosted by Prince Albert because it looks like they're in the Palace grounds.
