Yes, I think the cast flew to Mexico. I wonder if Margherita might try and reunite some of his former cast members for his 50th too.

Yes. I knew I read about that in a few Vantage Point interviews. Wish we could see some pics from that party! That would be so sweet if Margherita does that.
|
I think there were some pics a while back, but not of the Lost cast members.
|
I don't think I've seen those pics. Just candids of the family at Great Adventure in Mexico.
|
I'll see if I can find them. There were definitely a couple of party pics. Matthew was wearing an Italia football shirt.
|
I think I've seen a few pics of Matthew in that shirt, but I thought they were taken in Italy!

Thanks for the link

We need more news!

Yes we do! A lot of celebrity news comes from Instagram and Twitter nowadays. I saw a story about Lacey and Jennifer Aspen recently meeting up an event, taking a pic together to post on Instagram and having a sort of Party of Five reunion, but we know that Matthew will never bother doing stuff like that and isn't interested in that kind of attention.
|
Yes, I saw that about Lacey and Jennifer. I think if he ever did any PO5-related event/photo, it would only be because Neve or Scott begged him to!
I do find it a bit weird though, how actors often tend to distance themselves from their earlier stuff, especially if it was their "big break". Matthew is actually a lot nicer about PO5 than a lot of actors are about their first big project. |
I wouldn't hold my breath! I doubt anyone can persuade Matthew to do anything that he doesn't want to do. I think all the begging in the world won't help once he's made up his mind about something! :rotfl:
I suppose a lot of actors usually accept any role they can get when they're first starting out, so it's not always a part that they would have chosen if they didn't have to take it out of necessity to help them break into the business. Of course they start to distance themselves as soon as they're finished with that project, because they want to change their image and reinvent themselves to avoid being typecast in similar roles. It was obviously very smart of Matthew to do that because it helped him get the lead role in Lost, which brought him even greater success. Scott Wolf was never able to really break out of that mold the way Matthew did and be considered a serious actor. Yes, Scott went on to do other roles, but he's still best known for Party of Five 16 years after it ended. |

Thanks for the article. Can't believe it's almost 6 years since it ended.
