Why didn't he do any tv show after Lost?

If I'm not wrong, it was because he didn't want to spend too much time filming and apart from his family, he went through that while filming Lost

Yes, and more because he didn't want that too. I even have seen comments of people saying they can't help themselves but see Matthew as Jack and I'm like ”noooooo” :lol: but seriously, it can become a problem for actors

Well, he wasn't exactly in a break for all these years because he made some movies. I think he's just waiting for something in tv or movies that is good for him but he's more like "if it comes, good. If not, good too." basically, the man is happy with his family, working in something else, while a good offer comes.

It makes sense, I think any of us would do that. You have to wait for the right thing to come along.
