In the end, Darcy liked the Bennets. They grew on him like fungus, same with Jack and Hurley!

You know, Bingley and Darcy kind of reminded me of Jurley too especially that scene where they are trying to figure out how to propose to Jane.

Yup! Remember in the book no one could understand why Bingley was friends with Darcy...I could see that with Jurley since Jack can be an uptight guy and Hurley's so fun loving.

Now I'm feeling like we should edit the title.

I wonder if Jack would ever have separated Hurley and Libby because he believed she didn't really love him?

He would. And I imagine Bingley's letters weren't nearly as articulate, though probably good, Darcy seems more of a perfectionist.

I could also see Jack saying a woman was perfectly tolerable or whatever Darcy said.

Jack ain't that smooth when it comes to the ladies.

Totally. Plus, like Darcy, all the women want him, but he doesn't want all the women.

Also, they're both angsty, and unlike Bingley/Hurley who are laidback.

I've always thought about how Darcy removed Bingley from the temptation of Jane, but he just kept putting himself in the way of Lizzy. I guess he thought if he couldn't save himself he could save his friend? Or maybe he was just much more aware of his feelings than Bingley was of his?

Gotta love him.
