Taylor Swift is topping the charts again. And again.

Billboard’s Web site, Music News, Reviews, Articles, Information, News Online & Free Music | Billboard.com, is reporting that Berks County-born Swift's single “Today Was a Fairytale” from the forthcoming soundtrack of the forthcoming movie “Valentine’s Day” has broken the record for best first-week download sales by a female artist ever, selling 325,000 as it set to debut at No. 1 on the Digital Songs chart.

It also will debut at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Both charts are to be released Thursday morning.

In addition, Swift has a cover of Better Than Ezra’s “Breathless” on “Hope For Haiti Now,” the charity disc of songs from Friday’s telethon of the same name that has raised $60 million to help the Caribbean island nation recover from a devastating Jan. 12 earthquake.

That album will debut at No. 1, Billboard says, with 171,000 sold according to Nielsen SoundScan. It also is the first digital-only album to top the chart in its nearly 54-year history.

Swift’s sophomore solo album, “Fearless," is still at No. 10 after more than a year on the chart, having spent 11 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1.

Only Ke$ha’s "TiK ToK" kept Swift from hitting No. 1 on Billboard’s singles chart. It will be at No. 1 for a sixth straight week.

"Fairytale" gives Swift her the best Hot 100 start of her career and equals her highest peak, set when "You Belong with Me" also hit No. 2 in August. But that song took 16 weeks to reach that level.

It is Swift’s first No. 1 on Digital Songs. Her "You're Not Sorry" in November 2008 and "Jump Then Fall" last November also hit that mark.

The previous record for largest first-week download sales by a female artist was Britney Spears’ "Womanizer," which moved 280,000 units in October 2008. The biggest opening week for any track is Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow" (465,000) in April 2009.

The Eli Young Band's "Guinevere" encores at No. 58.

Completing the Top 5 songs list, in descending order, are Miranda Lambert's "White Liar," Dierks Bentley's "I Wanna Make You Close Your Eyes" and Brad Paisley's "American Saturday Night."

Albums No. 2 through No. 5 are Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood's Play On, the Zac Brown Band's The Foundation and Aldean's Wide Open.

Lady Antebellum's second album, Need You Now, was released Tuesday (Jan. 26). By next week, we'll have the figures to see if it's a breeze or a hurricane.

I feel that Lady A are going to take the top spot and I don't hate it. It is going to take them to dethrone the album.

That is so great! I wish someone would post how many times she's been number 1 on the country chart!

And I am perfectly fine with Lady A taking it. They'll prolly have it for a few weeks! Their CD is estimated to sell 300k+! Congrats to them1
