i think it would be good role, but the writer and the director should be the one who do the important part to make this a good movie, as for taylor i'm sure she will try her best

i just hope this wont be MUSICAL film, just a scene where she sing a bit here and there is ok though

and if she's serious bout this, let's hope she can do the role well

I suppose I'm just nervous for Taylor. Joni is one of the greatest music artists ever. It's a big leap to go from a couple of scenes in Valentine's Day to this. People will be waiting for her to fail.

i think she has extreme acting ability. people judge her on her Valentine's Day performance, but that was the CHARACTER. not her. i really liked her in her CSI episode, Turn Turn Turn. she did really well!

but i know what you mean. i would be concerned too. i don't think she'll take it if she feels she can't do it. just like she rejected the role in Les Mis.

when I think of Taylor's acting, I definitely think about CSI... Valentine's Day made her a total airhead. and that's a fine character. overall, I don't think that movie pressed anyone's acting ability at all. CSI though definitely shows what she can do. much better than the acting in some of her music videos, even.

there's a few people I like that just... flat-out cannot act. they play the exact same character every single time. Taylor indeed nailed the ditzy blonde teenager, and was someone (several people actually) completely different in CSI. I bought her as the shy flirt. I bought her as the confused "stalker" and I bought her as the girl who turned edgier and made out with guys in public.
