i agree with you, actually. it's really sad to think about it, but i think this song appeals to a lot of people unfortunately because people relate. i think a lot of her songs are like that though! it must be nice, especially when she was trying to break into the industry, to have so many people relating to your experiences.

I actually think that out of all of her albums (that we've heard) this is the one I relate to the most.

this was her debut, it was her first jump into the world. it just describes her life so well (at that time); it was her diary! it really stripped everything bare, that's what i love about it.

I think because when she was writing at that time, it was before everyone knew who she was, really, so it's when her life was most like ours, and that's why it's so easy to relate to.
