♫Red Appreciation #5: Because we're still talking about it!
Welcome to the fifth Red Appreciation Thread!  Swift's fourth album, Red, is scheduled for release on October 22, 2012. The singer revealed further album details during a live web chat on August 13, 2012. While Nathan Chapman will serve as the lead producer, Swift has recorded songs with a variety of producers. After writing her third album alone, Swift made the decision to co-write her fourth album with people "from all different places in music". Collaborators include Dan Wilson, Butch Walker, Lori McKenna, Ed Sheeran and Mark Foster of Foster the People. The first single, titled "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" was first previewed during her August 13 live chat and was released later that day. Decided to actually pay attention to one of the UK soaps tonight and they played State of Grace in the background and it was awesome (and I'm not really paying attention to the rest of the episode...) Just thought I'd share this.

Good, that's refreshing. It's unusual to have a scene that coordinates with the lyrics of a Taylor song, because most of her songs are quite personal.

It was being played as if it was just on the radio in the background, I found it a little weird that it wasn't Trouble or 22. They usually go with the singles.

They must've had a good taste of music, for State of Grace is lyrically more subtle and stuffed than Trouble or 22.

The director/creator of that soap must be a fan.
Sometimes I wanna become a director just to do things with my favorite music. I finally got Red a few days ago. It's amazing. I haven't taken it out of my CD player. It's amazing. __________________
