Granted, both of these roles are guest spots, but the fact that the show's lead is taking any other TV roles at all can't be looked at as a good sign.

The Cop House role didn't bother me, but the Adler Comedy one does.

Well it isn't a good sign for the show, actors usually do that when they think their shows are not coming back, but they are both guest roles. And even if they weren't they would still be in 2nd position to Privleged if she could not fit them all in if a 2nd Season was miraculously ordered.

I think midseason would actually be pretty perfect. Not as much pressure to deliver right away or carry a night, and you just know something is going to bomb on the CW, because something always does, hee.

I'm crossing my fingers, because I demand more Rose. One of my favourite characters of this whole season.

ETA: As someone mentioned on the Everwood board, if the show does indeed come back as a midseason show, it may help explain Joanna taking guest roles in series?
