Admittedly, yeah, the book is a lot darker than the show and I definitely like the show better but the book definitely has it's points.

Like the whole Megan/Marco/Ketih thing. I love how all of the clothes Megan wears while she is down there are Marco's drag clothing and that the only reason her look gets fixed is because Marco's boyfriend is the top hari/makeup/dress guy around.

And Megan and Will in the book are just so darn cute. I much prefer Will to that guy James Megan was dating for most of the book.

There's other stuff, but these stand out as my tops.

Do Lily and Megan have a better relationship in the end?

I think overall in the book Megan and Lily have a better relationship than the one in the show although they definitely have their points of stress. Toward the end they talk about how they have felt inferior to each other in different ways and whatnot. It made it feel like they weren't going to be as jealous of each other anymore.

Yeah, they had great happy parents in the book so their issues were more jus mutual sibling jealousy, one for being popular and beautiful (Lily) and one for being smart and the favorite (Megan). As Megan is "undercover" as a rich girl doing this as a favor to her parents to get her trust fund, she has to pretend not to know Lily when they meet, which causes issues as you can imagine and brings everything to the surface.

Okay I understand I just hope they still have a similiar understanding in the book despite the book and show differences.

I definitely think the changes they made to turn it into a tv show were good ones. Agreed on Charlie for one. Much better than the female best friend who she calls occasionally. And the twins aren't nearly as wild.

i finish reading the book last night.

the book have some different stuff from the show like lily being the older sister and she's really nice.

over all the book is great and will is sooooo cute in the book as well!
