i am glad to see EL being apologized to by the producers of Lost, after she revealed that she was uncomfortable and basically forced to do nude/partial nudity scenes early in her career, for that show. no woman, or man for that matter, should be forced to do nude scenes if they are uncomfortable with it. some would argue that EL had a choice way back in 2004, but it was really early in her career and she couldn't risk backlash, let go, or even perceived as 'being difficult' which can be a career killer or give an actor/actress an undeserved reputation. in today's era of enlightenment of sorts, women have much more control or at least options in which to voice their issues, without fear of job retribution or harassment. i support EL on her position of not doing nude scenes, it's definitely not for everyone and must be a personal choice.

You're right and I agree with you, back then it was definitely a deal breaker. I'm glad things have evolved to the point that she could come out and let everyone know about it.
